In November, my friends set off on an unforgettable journey to the charming towns of Shirakawa-go and Takayama, two of Japan’s most scenic and culturally rich destinations. From the iconic gassho-zukuri houses blanketed in autumn hues to the nostalgic streets of Takayama’s old town, this trip was packed with traditional vibes, stunning views, and cozy countryside moments 🍁🏯✨

Unfortunately, I had to skip the Shirakawa-Takayama leg due to a typhoon hitting the region 🌧️—but I finally caught up with everyone in Nagoya, where we reunited for some urban adventures, delicious food, and great laughs 🏙️🍜❤️
