Osaka to Tokyo Nighbus – Exploring Tokyo
Hey everyone, we’re in Osaka right now and we are taking the most economical way to get to Tokyo, which is the night bus. In this video, you’ll be able to see if the night bus is indeed the mode of transportation for you. The night bus leaves at 11:30, so we pretty much have a whole day ahead here in Osaka. And first order of business is McDonald’s Japan for breakfast. Almost the same as the one at home. a little bit bigger, but the egg nuggets are delicious. Could use some like mayo sauce or something. We wanted to do a bit of shopping before leaving Osaka. So, we decided to go to Ringu Town, which is an outlet mall that is located around 50 minutes away from Osaka Namba. To Ringo Town was pretty easy. All we had to do was take the airport express and then we got off to the second to the last stop which is the new town station and then you just get down here at this mall like area just walk to the outlet area. I’m going to show you a sneak peek of some of the shops there in case you’d like to do a little bit of affordable well more affordable shopping before you leave Osaka suggest to buy shops like these. The quality of their cloth is different one in Korea. So, um I found something that’s worth like 2,000 yen. It ranges from like 2,000 to 5,000 yen. Um it’s just like in the entrance near near this one instead of a love. You got Adidas right off the top. You can see it right there. So, the last one is really this one. Then you’ll see all these shops all around. So, it’s 20% off. [Music] % off. Totally worth it to drop by here. That’s really affordable. So, the sweaters are like, 300 1,00 13 to5 pesos only. Not going to lie, I know we were here to shop for some shoes and clothes, but my favorite part of Ringu Town was the lint store. They had an absolute mega sale and I’m really really happy about this. It’s extra 5% off. There’s some stuff like this one cookies that are 70%. This one’s 50% off. A lot of them are discounted stuff. Check this. It’s only 78 for this. This price for this one, this one comes out to be around 11,000 yen, which is actually a steal cuz it’s expensive in the Philippines. Romeo, Romeo, where I want my Romeo. Romeo. Yeah, I want something. [Music] also some affordable things [Music] still less 20%. So, of course, they’re not the latest design, but I mean, can’t go wrong with shoes that cheap. like special flavor. Three three person. So you better add this to your itinerary. Most of the things here are extremely affordable. So um I don’t think you should miss out on this if you’re a shopping person that is. This place is crazy big. I think that there are over 100 shops. They even have a map for it cuz you’ll easily get lost here. shoes. They’re really a steal. You should at least buy one pair here. Especially the onsuka. Loving the sale here. After a full day of shopping, we went back to Oaka already and we decided to have ramen for dinner. And we ate at this place called Min Nokuni, which for me was the best ramen we’ve had in Japan. This is the one that I got. But the difference between this and this is that there are three pieces of shashu. And then this is what I win. This one’s a spicy one. This one’s just vegetable base. And then you can choose the level of spiciness. Win got um a level three. So it’s actually quite affordable at 920 yen. And this one is at 9:30 and it’s only like a not a minute. Like it’s a 5 minute walk from our hotel. [Music] Hands down the best ramen we had in Japan. And it’s actually also one of the most affordable meals we had in Japan. So, I was really happy with this one. Thick, rich sauce, very nice and chewy noodles, torch pork that was so flavorful. Everything was perfect in this meal. Right now, we’re actually looking for a pachinko parlor. We’re just going to try our luck. Um, it’s kind of a tradition that when we go somewhere, we try to go to the casino, you know, just spend like a minimal amount. Let’s say 1,000 to 5,000 pesos just for fun, purely for fun. We’re not gamblers. Okay, we are here now the station. We are going to be taking the night bus. So, so we leave it around 11:00 p.m. We’re getting there around 7:30 a.m. So, we can sleep in the bus. So, we’re actually able to sleep a little little little bit on the laundry. Okay. So, upstairs, this is the waiting room. So, you can do some stuff. You can bring your luggage and fix them like what we’re doing while waiting for the bus. So, if you want like mis soup, I think the misa soup is super microwave if you need to heat food. So, if you’re waiting for a long time, it’s not a problem. You also have some drinks here, condiments. Yeah, if you need to brush your teeth or whatever. cover. You can cover it. You want some privacy to sleep? And then blanket. No, there’s a blanket. Pillow. Is there a pillow? No. And then that’s all the space for the overhead. So, it doesn’t fit the ruggage. only a few items. We’re now heading from Osaka going to Tokyo. We are going down at Lamba and um yeah, we’re going to check in there and then we’re going to have a few more days in Tokyo to have fun. So, we chose this one instead of going in the Shinkansen cuz it’s the more affordable option. So, we booked our tickets from Cook and I’m leaving my discount code below in case you want to try the night bus for yourself, too. I definitely recommend the night bus. It was comfy. We got to sleep. We got to save on a lot of money cuz the bullet train was so expensive. Plus, we got to save on our hotel booking. And just an update, it’s 12:30 already. So, our bus left at 11:00. Um, it’s 12:30 and then we made a quick stopover. So, the bus the bus will turn off the lights. You can sleep for a while and then after that you can make a quick stopover. So if you need to use a toilet or you need to buy something very quick in the um convenience store, you have a bit of time. So magnus the temperature is fine with me though. Morning everybody. So we have arrived in Tokyo already. So this is the bus we took and um we are here at Chindupa station and we’re just heading to our hotel and it’s around 8:30 in the morning already. First thing we do is go to George information center and ask for a map. So important to get these things. So we have three kinds of JR private and then uh subway JR and then private line. Okay. And then there is the economical part to polite unlimited ride. Ah for subway subways connect everything already. And subway is the circle map and you have to check the circle map. Which station has a circle? It means circle circle circle. Okay. Okay. Thank you. So helpful. Okay. So if if you want to go to the Tokyo Tower, you have to go this route because this is the only boy. Okay. Thank you so much for the interview. Thank you. The places where you can buy it is a major big camera is a electronic shop. Mhm. Okay. Our next location is Tokyo Sky Tree. We’re going to look at the city from high above. [Music] Okay, so we went up to the fourth floor and then that’s where you can find the entrance of Tokyo Skytree. So it’s one of the main attractions here in Tokyo and we got of course our tickets and look and we got it for buy one big one and then yeah look that’s the Tokyo Sky Tree and then later we’re going to go to Shibuya and we’ll check out which view is better. I’ll I’ll let you know guys. [Music] You have to scan your QR code and change your ticket, your e ticket for a real ticket. [Music] Unfortunately, we’re here a bit late. So, it’s around 12:00 and it’s jam-packed. As you can see, it’s kind of packed, so it’s a bit harder to take pictures and it’s less peaceful, but of course, you still enjoy going around. [Music] [Music] Yum. Say hi. Not like that. Say hi. Say hi. Yeah. As always, there’s a souvenir shop. Um, they also have a restaurant upstairs, but I’m not sure about the menu, how expensive it is. [Music] [Music] What do you prefer? The grape or the strawberry? Strawberry. Strawberry. The grapes. How do they taste? The grape is good, too, but I like the strawberry one better. In the same area as uh the sky tree, um there’s also a food court, and it’s on the fourth floor. So, there’s a wide variety of Japanese food to choose from. So, I recommend staying here if you want to eat somewhere more affordable in this area. [Music] Now we are going to area cuz I’m looking for some pre-loved luxury bags. I found that was a great place for shopping to not only for luxury bags but also for nice shoes and ABC Mart and little trinkets here and there. And also in this area there are lots of places to eat around. So, we went to this Owl Cafe. Unfortunately, we didn’t eat there because we ran out of time, but next time we’d definitely go back. Here’s a sneak peek of the cafe. Anyway, this was definitely one of our regrets, not eating in the Owl Cafe. They also have some market stuff here. So, I was able to actually buy unagi here. I love unagi. So yeah, this 3,000 3,000. It’s 1,500 yen per piece. So Okay. Thank you. Thank you. 1,500 yen per pack, which is 330 g each. So that’s super cheap. Super duper cheap. Uni here. 2,000. That area that’s mostly a market already. I was actually able to get unagi and I’m so happy about that. Now we are here at the Akihabara area which is considered to be like the center of Japanese otaku culture. This time we are at Akibara and we are at another donkey. So this is one of the bigger ones again. So excited. This is like anime town. So the walls are plastered everywhere with animes. Hopefully I get some small figurines of like Becken or like My Hero or um some of the animes that I like. Wow. It’s important to have a boyfriend to carry your shopping supplies. Next thing we did was go to a maid cafe. It was cute and fun and quite an experience. The only sad thing about this that you are not allowed to take any pictures or even photos of the maids. Thankfully, the curry was really, really good and so was the dessert. So, we’re quite happy about that. This was quite an expensive activity, just so you guys know. Now, to end a full day of travel, we’re going to the Kabuki Cho Tower. If you guys are looking for something to do, I really recommend it here. You guys can eat and drink the night away. And there are a bunch of games as well here. So I promise you you won’t get bored. So usually after 10 there’s a 15% charge already. Every person has a table fee. So like for this restaurant in particular it’s 350 yen per head to enter this area. So it depends which area. But we’re going to transfer cuz here in Kabuki Cafe is really cool and all that but we’re not really liking the the the snacks here. They have a DJ stand in the middle which is usually from 9:00 p.m. to around 11:30. So, I’m ending the vlog here, guys. I hope you enjoyed our trip going all the way from Osaka to Tokyo. Hope you guys can like and subscribe. I have more Japan videos coming your way soon. See you on my next video. Bye. high. It’s
