5 Things I Wish I Knew Before Going to Japan With Kids πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ | Family Travel Tips

Five things I really wish I knew before we went to Tokyo. Number one, fly into Hanita Airport instead of Narita. It’s way closer to central Tokyo. Before your trip, get familiar with Tokyo subway system. It’s clean and efficient, but you can be confusing at first. You’ll walk a lot. Tokyo is super pedestrian friendly, so comfy shoes are essential, and maybe plan breaks for little eggs. There aren’t many public trash cans, so carry a small bag for rappers or battles until you find a place to toss them. Reserve big attractions early. Things like Team Lab or Disneyland sell out weeks in advance. Trust me, your future self will thank you. Lines for restaurant are totally normal. Try to eat early or bring snacks for the kids while you wait. Check out more family travel vlogs on my YouTube channel. See you.
