Danish design house Fredericia Furniture has opened its new Tokyo Brand Studio, celebrating with a week of events that brought together friends, collaborators and the local Japanese design community.

The opening programme created moments of connection and conversation, uniting kindred spirits from Japan and Denmark. Guests experienced a subtle dialogue between Danish craftsmanship and Japanese sensibility, with Fredericia’s heritage pieces forming the backdrop. The space balances industrial character with refined detail, resulting in an atmosphere that feels both grounded and serene.
As part of the opening, visitors were given an exclusive preview of a new lounge chair by designer Cecilie Manz, adding to Fredericia’s renowned collection of contemporary classics.
The Tokyo Brand Studio offers a place to experience the brand’s designs first-hand. Appointments can be arranged directly with the Tokyo team.
