Today, I’ve visited the village of Kazancık in the Tekman district of Erzurum. Together, we will explore this beautiful place, with its natural beauty, the sincerity of village life , and its cultural richness . I invite you to the peaceful atmosphere and unique views of Kazancı Village . I take this opportunity to extend my warm greetings to all my friends from the Kazancı village . Kazancık village has a history stretching back centuries. Registered as Memo in 1901 , the village is located 73 km from Erzurum city center and 24 km from Tekman district . It is approximately 2,300 meters above sea level and, together with the surrounding villages, is a center of agriculture and animal husbandry. In 1946, Tatos, a small village in Hınıs , was renamed Tekman and became a district. That same year, Kazancı village was incorporated into Tekman district. This regulation brought significant changes to the region’s administration and lifestyle . When Erzurum became a Metropolitan Municipality in 1993 , the legal entity status of the villages was abolished with Law No. 6360 enacted in 2012 . Kazancık village became a neighborhood of the Tekman Municipality . There is a school in the village. However, it is closed due to low student numbers. Children must travel 48 kilometers every day to commute to schools in the center of Tekman . Across from it is the Gümüşlük village cemetery . Yes, there is the Kazancık junction. Gümüşlük is above. On the left. The roads within the village are still dirt roads. Construction of the Cemevi (Cemevi) is ongoing and will be an important place of worship for the village’s social life . Kazancı village is under the influence of a continental climate. Summer temperatures can reach 26 degrees Celsius, while winter temperatures can drop below 15 degrees Celsius. Our village is visible across the street: Tekman Çağlar village. Snow-covered winters and cool summers shape agriculture and animal husbandry. Neighboring villages include Çağlar, Çatkale, Gümüşlük , and Çayır Dağı. Each village contributes to the region’s historical and cultural fabric. This is Kazancı village.
