JR West to Hold ‘2025 Osaka–Kansai Expo Final Event’ on Oct 13 in Osaka, Japan

JR West (West Japan Railway Company) will hold the “2025 Osaka–Kansai Expo Final Event” on October 13 inside the Osaka–Kansai Expo venue in Osaka, Japan.

Part 1 (1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) will feature a sake showcase stage and tasting booths, along with performances of festivals from across Japan and overseas and a flag ceremony. Part 2 (5:35 p.m. to 6:35 p.m.), “EXPO Thanks LIVE,” and Part 3 (6:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) will look back on the Expo’s journey through video and conclude with piano performance and choral singing. Priority viewing areas will be set at the very front for Parts 2 and 3, and only holders of priority viewing tickets may enter these areas.

The “Myaku-Myaku Around the World” exhibition will display works in which pavilion staff and other Expo personnel paint the official character “Myaku-Myaku.” The exhibition will run at Osaka Station through October 9, and at Gallery WEST inside the venue on October 12 and 13.

On X (formerly Twitter), the JR West Group is running the “Your Favorite Myaku-Myaku Posting Campaign” through October 13. Follow the official account and post an image with the hashtag “#世界のミャクミャク展” to enter. Forty winners will receive an acrylic standee, and sixty winners will receive a bundle including a clear file folder, an acrylic charm, and an assemble-it-yourself folding fan, awarded by lottery.

The location is the EXPO Arena “Matsuri.” An Expo admission ticket with a reserved visit date and time for that day is required.
