Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, leading a high-level delegation, held bilateral discussions with senior ministers of the Japan Government on Monday. The meetings focused on deepening economic, industrial, and cultural cooperation between Haryana and Japan.

Haryana Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh was also present on this occasion. Chief Minister Saini met Miyaji Takuma, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Japan, and discussed avenues to enhance trade and investment between Haryana and the East Asian country. The Chief Minister invited Japan to participate as a ‘Partner Country’ in the upcoming Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit 2026, scheduled for April 2026.

Later, the Chief Minister also met Koga Yuichiro, Minister of State, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Japan. The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between Haryana and Japanese industries, particularly in the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector. Both sides explored potential investments in emerging sectors such as future mobility, green energy, advanced electronics and semiconductors, infrastructure development, and digital transformation.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is advancing rapidly and has emerged as the world’s fourth-largest economy. The Haryana Government is committed to attracting greater foreign investment to the state.

Strengthening ties with a technologically advanced nation like Japan will create new opportunities for industry, innovation, and employment in Haryana. This visit marks an important step toward realising the Prime Minister’s vision of a Developed India – Developed Haryana.
