You see the mountains of mountains? Yeah. So, where does it where do you think it ends? Like here. Yeah. It’s not up there. It’s more right and then more here and then that high. Crazy. It goes like a exponential. Oh, slowly goes up and then and the round is somebody Mount Fuji ASMR. Yeah, Mount Fuji’s over there. And we’re over here waiting for Mount Fuji. And my feet are frozen. I grabbed the wrong shoes. How’s your feet, youth, though? It’s fine. Mine feel cold and wet. Yeah. Cool. There were some Brazilian people. I I said opalo around them and they kind of looked but yolo. Now we are waiting for those clouds to move but I don’t think they’re going to move. So we’re going to stay for a bit and then we’re going to go to lake. You still want to go to the lake? Yep. Yeah, we’ll go to the lake. Kill time. Yep. And then we’ll go. Okay. Bye. Beautiful. Uta is up there somewhere. I came to see if I can get better shots up down here. Pretty cray cray. It’s pretty cool. Different. Wow. Like that’s insane how big it is. Cuz once you think about it, it’s like, oh [ __ ] that’s big. That’s what she said. You can see the mountain now. like the tip the tip of the iceberg. Wow. That’s crazy. Oh my god. And the fact that that’s a volcano, right? Yeah, cuz it’s supposed it could erupt. But the fact that that’s a volcano, like let me get a photo before it goes away. Now you can see the float mountain food. Wow, that’s beautiful. Holy. Holy [ __ ] that’s beautiful. Sorry, but holy wow, that’s amazing. Wait, let me see if I can get a shot with my camera. Beautiful. Mount Fuji. Oh my god, it’s so beautiful. It’s so beautiful. That’s cool. The wait was worth it. Oh, that’s a beautiful shot, actually. Now to the lake. We just got out of a big tunnel. [Music] like a statue. Yeah. For some moment. So, we thought this was a statue, but it’s a real cat. And it’s just sitting there just freaky. Like, it was still for so long. Oh, get this on the ground. No, that wasn’t the best. Not too shabby, guys. Fishing. It’s just like Doory Lake but with a view. I want to hit that. Ready? Yep. And then I’ll pause it. Wait. Ready? It’s good. Fuji. They just told me that this is uh a lava rock from when Mount Fuji erupted. And I have another one in my pocket. So cool. This one’s for you, David. I have a black one. This one’s kind of like reddish. Yeah, there’s lots of rocks. Pool rocks. Anyways, we’re in the mountains in the middle of the mountains. Lots of Chinese tourists, English tourists, Russian tourists, Brazilian tourists, Brazilian Japanese tourists. Cool. Beautiful mountains. And now we’re going to go to an onen. Pretty cool. Pretty cool. There’s Uta. Go Uta. Throw it. No, he didn’t make it. Volcano. erupted so many times. Really still thousands of people. Looks erupted. Did you get another lava rock? I found a perfect perfect flat stone. Beautiful flower. It’s a This is a monkey no slip tree. Monkeys can’t slide on it or they slide off. We found a rare family mart. It’s a rule. It’s black or brown. And also the saving le. Yeah. Also Oh, that’s cool. You can see them in the town. You good? Yep. [Music] my high school friends like I told you. Oh, cool. [Music] We’re going to an onsen in in the wild. So, Kevin, I’m wearing my work clothes. Youth and I had just got uh So, we arrived at the onen and I was pretty nervous cuz one, I’ve never seen any of my friends naked ever. Like, I’ve never had to do any of those like showers or whatever. And so, I was a bit nervous, but we walk in, we put our stuff in the lockers. We were on opposite sides of the locker room. So I just stripped down and then I go up to him. We’re both butt ass naked. I’m like, “Okay, let’s just” And he knew that I was I never had to like experience this. It was fine. We went in. Let’s just say we both are, if you what I mean. But yeah, it was fun. Um I don’t know what else to say. I don’t know what else to say that. After that, we got a I guess tradition to get milk after. So, we went and got milk and yeah, it was pretty good. It was pretty fun. Uta, if you’re seeing this, we both pack and Okay, enjoy the rest of the video. Bye. Also, just one thing I just remembered. Um, when we were there, we went into um what’s it called? We went into this like it was kind of like a cave. So like imagine imagine a cave and then it just had like um seats carved out of the rocks so you could sit in there. It’s really nice. It was really dark like and I can’t wear glasses in there so I’m already like half blind. Like I take off my glasses now and I’m just like but um no uh we get in it was us two. We’re just sitting there and we’re trying not to talk to be like polite, right? And yeah, it was fun. Uh, what else did we do there? We went to outside. It was cold, but it was nice cuz it was hot like bath, I guess. It was really nice. And then uh we went to I went to a steam room. He went to the sauna cuz I don’t like the sauna cuz I just I can’t I don’t like I like to breathe through my nose and when I go it would just burn. So, I prefer the steam room. And the steam room’s really nice. No one was in there. I could like I literally was wait let me let me show you a rep repres representation. So I literally was on the bench in there just like this just spread out like this and it was so nice. Balls and this were everywhere and yeah it was pretty fun. Um and then I went to the sauna to go to Utah cuz I was kind of alone in there. I was in there for a good 15 minutes as long and then we went to I went to the cold bath and in the cold bath uh Uta went in like not even 2 minutes. I sat in there for 20 minutes cuz when I get the really cold my lungs do like and it feels so good and you like you’re crazy. This is what explains why you’re Canadian. So to my Canadians out there we got to go there and do that cuz it’s really nice. But then after that, the last thing that we went in was um it was um carbonated a carbonated like bath and it was so nice actually. We actually we just sat in there like these this guy brought his kids so they were kind of making noise and splashing around a little bit but kids whatever. But don’t mind the clothes. I’m doing laundry and and uh yeah, after that it was we just laid in there because I’m I’m hairy or you can’t tell. You can’t tell, but um I’m cutting that out. Um where was it? Yeah, cuz I’m hairy. Um all the like the bubbles would just stay on me. So you thought it was so funny cuz every time I moved it just was like a thing of bubbles. So it was pretty fun. It was fun. Yeah. Yeah, we got the milk after. It was so good. I kept one of the bottles like so imagine this um product review of Tropicana. We love Tropicana. Not sponsored by the way, but yeah, it was a really fun. I stole one of them. So like it was this big probably and it like this trick. It was really nice and I kept it and I have it at home and it says milk on it. But yeah, enjoy the rest of your video. I should be done talking now. or something like this. But yeah, bye. [Music] Got it. [Music] Mount Fuji. We made it on the bus. Bye, Mount Fuji. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] This is scary. Oh my god. Pul [Music] train. Bullet train. It goes fast. [Music] It’s quite a Big city, right? Yeah. Actually nice. Paris. It’s funny. She was saying um Give us old school Japanese toilets. That’s so cool. So, you’re like supposed to squat and pee and poop. Cool. [Music] Best dinner I’ve had as just a small little thing. Let’s go. That was so cool. Like emotionally that it Oh, I’m sad to leave you Japan. Yay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like that. The food today was yay. The meats. To me it was yabai. Yabai. That’s cool. And when you want to change the past tense, it’s going to be yaka. Yag yabaga. Yak. Yabaka. There’s a strawberry. Strawberry. speak. So, this part always makes me laugh cuz we weren’t talking at the time and the mom just goes, “Speak.” It was funny. What? Smile. Smile. Smile. [Music]
This is my sixth day in Japan! Today I started my day waking up early so me and Yuta could make it to the observation lookout before all the tourists went. We packed all our things up and found ourselves a Times Car to rent for the day. We first went to the famous Lawson to see if we could see Mount Fuji behind it, unfortunately it was too cloudy. We made our way to our destination but first we needed some breakfast. So we stopped at a different Lawson, grabbed some goodies, had a Mukbang then made our way to the park! As we got there we walked up the stairs, that was tough ahah Especially with it being cold and slushy. Once we got to the observation area we waited and waited for Mount Fuji to make an appearance out of the clouds. After a while we finally got to see it and we were able to get a good glimpse of it’s beauty. After that me and Yuta went to another lookout area by the lake, as we pulled into the parking BOOM FULL VIEW OF MOUNT FUJI!! Was beautiful! We went to the water, skipped some rocks, had some fun and then made our way to the Onsen. We got to the Onsen, got NAKEYYYY and had a great relaxing time! I highly recommend, yeah the getting naked part with your friend can be a bit different but hey I feel closer to Yuta now but more importantly it was so relaxing. I don’t think I’ve ever felt that relaxed before. Especially when I was first doing something out of my comfort zone. Stayed there for a while and then we decided we should probably head to Nagoya to see Yuta’s parents. We decided taking a train would take too long so we took a bus, that was so nice to just sit back and watch the countryside surround us! Once we got off the bus we went on my first-ever bullet train and had my first ever bento box!! The train is FAST! Like FAST, you don’t feel like that when you’re on it but seeing it go by or looking out the window you can tell. And also bento boxes, WOW AMAZING!! When we made it to Nagoya Yuta’s dad picked us up and we made our way to their home. One thing that was so cool in Yuta’s parents van you can watch TV while you’re at stoplights, Yuta and I had a tv in the back to watch but also the screen in the front was also playing. Would only stop in the front when the car would move. Just kept playing the sound for us in the back! Idk thought was cool! We arrived at Yuta’s place, met his mom, such a beautiful family! They had asked me earlier in the day on the phone what I wanted to eat while I was there, I said anything to Yuta, I’m good with anything. Then JOKINGLY I said “OOOO WAGYU BEEF” as a joke cause I know it’s super expensive and I honestly didn’t think they heard. But when we get in the car Yuta’s like “okay ready to try Wagyu?” I was like nooooo, felt so bad cause I wasn’t serious. But once we got to the restaurant, we found out that they were overbooked and had no room for us so I told Yuta to tell his parents I was good with anything and I am grateful to have anything local. Cause I wanted to try right? So they took us to this small little restaurant, in like a back alley sort of. When we walked in, it was just so smoky and just a few tables, not even tables. It was just like a counter with bar seats and a few booths. WHEN I TELL YOU THIS WAS LOCAL, IT WAS LOCAL. I was their first ever foreigner customer, I felt so grateful and honoured to be their first!!! They were so nice, so welcoming. The food was AMAZING!!! I even tried a beef tail soup. Don’t eat the tail but the broth OMG BEST THING IVE TRIED. NO JOKE. I DREAM ABOUT THAT BROTH!! There wasn’t even menus just paper boards along the wall with specials. And it was old-style Japanese so translate apps wouldn’t have even probably understood. While I was there I saw a traditional Japanese toilet, I had asked where the bathroom was and they told me in the back, and they all started giggling, so I was so confused and then when I got to the back, I was shocked at what I saw! Just so cool to see! Anyways, hands-down, best restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life! After that we went to a Mini-Stop, picked a few things up and then made it back to Yuta’s parent’s house. They had bought us strawberries from all over Japan to try, because I heard they taste great! As we did that, his dad brought out some photo albums from when his father went to Portugal. And it was just so cool seeing the photos, because Lisbon looks the exact same! Was such an amazing day thank you Yuta’s parents!
