【#shorts 】Headed to Hiroshima Here Are 9 Things You Should Know First Part2

Hiroshima’s iconic street cars have been up and running throughout the city center since 1912. Today, an expansive network connects everywhere from Hiroshima Station to Miaima Guuchi, the mainland equivalent of Miaima, and everywhere in between. The street cars themselves run from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the evening. For a very reasonable 240 yen, you can ride anywhere in the inner city. A full day pass getting on and off as much as you like, is only 700 yen. Beyond that, there are many buses, but one I’d recommend is the Maple Loop Bus. It connects sightseeing spots and museums with three different convenient routes. This runs from 9, more or less 9:00 a.m. in the morning to 6:30 p.m. at night. There’s also free Wi-Fi. A single ride will cost you 240 yen and a day pass, 600 yen. Get on and off as much as you like. I highly recommend this. In addition, you can buy a wonderful pass connecting the street cars, the Maple Loop, and other buses, and the ferry from Miaima Guuchi to Miaima Island for only 1,000 yen for a day or 1,500 for a 2-day period. Now, that is a bargain. In addition, you have a very flat area in Hiroshima. It’s very walkable and bikable as well. If you’re taking public transportation, if possible, I’d recommend trying to avoid the busy peak times, rush hour, maybe 7 to 8 in the morning, anywhere from 4:00 to 7:00 at
