2 days in Bangkok πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡ | best chocolate drink, local food, street art, chinatown, newest shopping mall

Hello, today I’m gonna show you the left part of Bangkok Right now I will head to the chocolate bar
named “32Bar X” I actually saw them on the social media and they are known for having one of the best chocolate drinks in Bangkok The entrance looks a bit run-down but that’s what makes it unique They got the “User’s choice” award from Lineman There are different flavors available depending on your preferences It is even possible to taste the different flavors before purchasing Looks like Mickey Mouse is in bad shape too You can choose between hot chocolate or cold chocolate or you can also buy the chocolate bar I just took a hot chocolate at “32Bar X” I took the melon floral taste… I think which was 140 THB ($4.40) Actually they are melting a complete chocolate bar to make it and I’m gonna try it Actually it’s really sweet and you really feel the taste of the chocolate like really strongly compared to the other ones I drank in the past This is the map of the Talat Noi area, many things to visit This area of Bangkok looks really local It’s a chill place if you wanna go shopping or have a coffee It is an area on the ground floor that was part of a Thai family home and which has been renovated to welcome guests The street art serves to tell the cultural stories of Talat Noi depicting its blend of Thai and Chinese influences, historical trading and daily life Talat Noi is one of Bangkok’s oldest communities In 2016, the area was seen as “rusty and dark” so they renovated the street into an open-air gallery This local temple was really close to the street art if you wanna visit it so we just finished visiting the chocolate place and the Talat Noi street art Now it’s starting getting late so we are heading to the Chinatown part of Bangkok We found a local street restaurant on our way to Chinatown We asked for tissues but they don’t even have tissues, that’s crazy I never heard about a restaurant not having tissues That’s actually really good It’s like fish balls with noodles soup We paid only 50 THB ($1.60) for this and the restaurant earnt 8 Michelin awards so that’s quite a lot we just found them randomly in the street so we just gave a try Arrived in the biggest Chinatown of Asia (in term of surface area) I am in Chinatown right now Definitely you can come here too if you wanna eat something because there are so many foods to eat and it’s really crowded so I recommend coming here by night Watching them cooking is like a show at the same time You can find durian everywhere here I’m now looking for a dessert in this area, I saw a good place on Google Maps They specialize in pudding and also make drinks I needed something refreshing so I took a rambutan granita pudding and a fresh kumquat juice with konjac pearls and honey jelly Now it’s starting getting really late so I’ll just go back home Actually I saw really nice places here so I recommend coming here if you wanna enjoy food and just the mood in general This is the new shopping mall of Bangkok it just opened a few weeks ago The building’s design is impressive Pop Mart is so popular in Thailand so many people buying these Labubu You can even get a Luffy Labubu All people here bought their Labubu online and are waiting for their turn, that’s crazy You will find almost every famous brands here Just found the Flower Mountain area which is a Japanese sneakers brand They really have a second Pop Mart in the same shopping mall ? I guess you’ll find everything you want here if you are a Labubu fan They even got the Disney ones The outside view is one of the highlights of this shopping mall whether it’s architecture or vegetation From here you can see the Lumphini Park, which is really close Time to eat something now, it’s only 11AM and they are all queuing Trying the Khao Soi, one of Thai specialities I ordered the number 3 “Khaosoi with stewed beef” (french) This is a Thai food speciality ? (french) Yes (french) It’s from northern Thailand (french) from Chiang Mai (french) so ? (french) It’s okay, that’s good (french) It’s different, right ? (french) A mix between fried food and noodles (french) Yes Now looking for a dessert Ordered a Riam mit, a traditional Thai dessert with coconut milk You can personnalize your dessert according to your tastes It reminds me of the vietnamese “Three color dessert” (french) Look at what he ordered (french) For real, it’s not that bad (french) It looks awful, but in reality it’s good (french) Pandan and coconut fit really well together Trying my friend’s dessert (At the end my friend admitted it was not as good as he said) (french) 4/10 (french) Those are my best-spent 60 THB (referring to my dessert ofc) (french) I could comeback here just for this dessert This park is known for having monitor lizards that live there I got lucky and found few of them, they are inoffensive but please don’t be aggressive and keep a safe distance It is one of the only parks in Bangkok People come here to chill, or to go jogging in the morning Now let’s move to %Arabica Empire Tower to drink some coffee! I was surprised at how luxurious it looked You can even sit on this comfortable chair in the elevator Finally arrived on the 55th floor %Arabica is a Kyoto-originated coffee brand that started in Hong Kong passionate about simple, timeless design and Japanese coffee You can drink a coffee while enjoying a complete view of Bangkok Now heading to the next destination alone with this heavy rain Every time I visit a shopping mall in Bangkok, I feel like it’s a work of art Walking on the illuminated bridge Having all these works of art and colors completely change from what I’m used to This is a different mood compared to the Dusit Central Park shopping mall but both have their own charm They have a complete floor for IKEA only This is the biggest IKEA in Bangkok You can also find their restaurant & coffee shop inside the IKEA itself People are coming here to study, to meet friends or even to attend some meeting events I personally attended a japanese exchange language meeting there and met some new people to hang out with If you need data for your mobile phone, I recommend going to AIS I never experienced any issue with them Going to the upper floor This floor is probably intended for events There was some kind of photo shoot, I didn’t know exactly what it was You can also enjoy a small view of Bangkok This is another shopping mall really close to the previous one It’s really close to the BTS metro and 5 minutes away by walk from EMSPHERE I went there as my friend told me we could have a great view of the area It’s like having a small park in the shopping mall Here is the view of Sukhumvit area by night! Just saw this Japanese restaurant next to the metro station, so I’ll eat there I like this place as it looks really local I ordered the recommended Tonteki for 280 THB ($8.80) It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten Japanese food The tonteki was perfectly cooked and was so good it was definitely a great experience so far Really close to the restaurant, there is this Japanese bakery You can find different kind of pastries like cake, melon pan, etc… It doesn’t really look like a baguette… I just went back home and gonna end the vlog here (but more coming soon) I appreciate if you could leave a comment to improve my next videos Thank you for watching!

Join me in exploring the popular spots but also some less well-known areas of Bangkok in 2 days!
