Japanese Garden Walks – Walk 5 – Fushimi Inari Taisha
Take an uncut hike through Kyoto’s famous Fushimi Inari Taisha – no teaching, just the sights and sounds of Japan.
This video is nearly 50 minutes long and shows much of the climb up the mountain, passing under thousands of iconic red torii gates, with moments of quiet forest paths and views overlooking Kyoto. I didn’t film everything, but I wanted to capture as much of the experience as possible and share it uncut. A shorter highlight version will come later, but today’s video is about slowing down and walking together through one of Japan’s most iconic sites.
Life can feel hectic; sometimes a long, quiet walk is the best way to reset. I hope this video gives you a chance to breathe, relax, and take in the atmosphere of Fushimi Inari, wherever you are.
