Hello! Today we’re at Yakitori Torisen in Umeda Famous for their Matsukaze Jidori chicken, a free-range heritage chicken breed And their ‘whole bird dining’ concept,
which is eating the entire bird without waste Their signature “one bird complete” course offers a variety of rare chicken parts We don’t have to do any ordering, so we just got ourselves some drinks Our first dish is being prepared (Chicken soup with vegetables) Refreshing taste, a great opener for the night The chicken thigh skewer will be served first to highlight the rich taste and juiciness (Chicken thigh) This is amazing! So much focus going into this (Radish)
This freshens you up and gets rid of the greasy feeling Unlimited refill as well (Chicken breast) This is juicy and tender (Steamed chicken thigh) A surprising dish. The sauce is really good. (Eggplant with miso & ginger sauce) I could eat this everyday (Chicken neck skin) Chicken skin! My favorite (Chicken inner thigh) Inner thigh is more about the texture (Chicken outer thigh) While outer thigh is more about the flavour They are both very good Didn’t know Peugeot made pepper mills (Matsukaze Jidori dumplings) The house specialty arrived in style One of the most flavorful gyozas I’ve ever had This is Chef Obana’s Masterclass (Chicken back skin with vinegar) The vinegar added another layer of rich flavor (Chicken tenderloin sasami) (Chicken diaphragm) (Green onion soup) This cleanses your palate and tastes extremely fresh (Chicken wing) I love chicken wings This is the menu for additional skewers if you want more Greeted by this near the washroom. Pretty cool. And some really realistic stone eggs Tsukemono (pickled stuff) is served, which means rice dish is coming next (Rice with old chicken soup) And now with eggs (Rice with soup and egg) Fantastic rice porridge (Kyoho grapes) Very sweet grapes! And now we’re done The ‘whole bird dining’ concept and charcoal grill indeed made this a unique experience I would definitely recommend this place Thank you for staying till the end See you in the next video!
