Thai Vietjet Air will launch a route between Osaka (Kansai), Japan and Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi), Thailand on January 15, 2026.
Although it was initially scheduled to start on December 1, the launch has been postponed due to changes in the introduction schedule for new aircraft.
The airline will operate four round trips per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, using Airbus A321 aircraft. The scheduled flight time is 6 hours 35 minutes from Osaka/Kansai and 5 hours 30 minutes from Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi.
Between Osaka/Kansai and Bangkok, Thai Airways International, Japan Airlines (JAL), and Peach Aviation operate to/from Suvarnabhumi, while Thai AirAsia X operates to/from Don Mueang.
