In order to increase the number of railway users on lines that JR Hokkaido would find difficult to maintain on its own (yellow line areas), we will be running a campaign to encourage railway use among travelers from outside Hokkaido who have different arrival and departure airports.
Based on applications from users who meet the following conditions, the first 200 applicants will receive a cash back of part of their travel expenses (5,000 yen).

① Use one or more yellow line areas
*Yellow line areas are eight lines with a transport density of over 200 people and less than 2,000 people that JR Hokkaido announced in 2016 would have difficulty maintaining on its own.

② Using two different airports in Hokkaido (e.g., arriving at New Chitose Airport and departing at Kushiro Airport)
*Applicable airports: New Chitose Airport, Okadama Airport, Asahikawa Airport, Wakkanai Airport, Okhotsk Monbetsu Airport, Memanbetsu Airport, Nemuro Nakashibetsu Airport, Kushiro Airport, Obihiro Airport, Hakodate Airport, Rishiri Airport, and Okushiri Airport
③ Answering questionnaires about the trip etc.
