Himachal delegation interacts with Japanese industry in Tokyo Shimla: A delegation of Himachal Pradesh govt, led by industries minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, on Wednesday held an interactive session with leading Japanese industry representatives at the Indian Embassy in Tokyo. Aimed at strengthening economic ties and exploring investment opportunities, the delegation gave a presentation showcasing investment opportunities in adventure and spiritual tourism, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) development under the World Bank-supported RAMP programme, and the upcoming reverse buyer–seller meet.Additional chief secretary (industries) R D Nazeem elaborated on emerging sectors such as tourism, electric vehicles, the bulk drug park, and ropeway projects. He assured Japanese investors of a single-window clearance system and investor-friendly policies. The industries minister emphasised the state’s commitment to green industrialisation and rural entrepreneurship under chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s leadership.
