BEST 20 MUST BUY SOUVENIRS at Shibuya MEGA Don Quijote|Japan Ultimate Guide 2025
Good morning. Welcome to shopping vlog in tokyo, shibuya. Let’s start looking around the store! Time check : It’s 9 AM right now. This is my first time coming this early, it’s less crowded than around lunchtime! Looks like I can enjoy a relaxed shopping time. At the entrance on the first floor, there is a lineup of recommended items! They often change depending on the season. This is one of the most popular hair treatments in Japan. A famous face wash series by Shiseido! Each color has a different purpose, pink one is a version formulated with beauty essence. Now let’s move up to the second floor! Here, it’s full of snacks. The decorations change every time I visit, and today it’s packed with colorful displays again. Of course, KitKats are a must. Since Halloween is coming soon, there are special flavors like Halloween Apple Pie and Mont Blanc. I’m gonna buy Greentea and Mont Blanc one.
Let’s open it! The snack section at Shibuya Mega Donki is
packed with options, but the Kit Kat area really stands out. And matcha flavor must be super popular, because
I always see it in stock no matter what season it is. Matcha Kit Kat is made with high-quality Uji matcha, giving it a rich, slightly bitter flavor. Balanced perfectly with the sweetness of the
creamy white chocolate. It’s a great way to experience the authentic taste of Japanese green tea in a convenient, bite-sized form. And another Mont Blanc Flavor one!
This one is first time for me to try! The Mont Blanc flavor KitKat seems
to be an autumn-only release. It’s actually my first time seeing it. The crispy wafer is wrapped in chestnut-flavored chocolate, made to taste just like a Mont Blanc dessert. There’s even a light aroma, almost like rum, which makes it really nice. It might be fun to try different KitKat flavors and compare them. Depending on the area, you can even find
special local editions, too. This is Japanese popular almond chocolate from Meiji! My favorite one, too. These are another classic. Kinoko no Yama and Takenoko no Sato! This time I picked up Takenoko no Sato! Takenoko no Sato is shaped like little bamboo shoots. It has a crispy cookie base covered with
smooth milk chocolate. The texture is crunchy and rich, and the cookie
adds a sweet, buttery flavor. Compared to Kinoko no Yama, which is lighter
with a cracker base, Takenoko no Sato feels more filling, almost like
a mini dessert. Pucchin Pudding is getting popular for japanese snack souvenir. By snapping the little lever at the bottom, the pudding slides out smoothly with its caramel sauce. There is a premium matcha version of
pucchin pudding, too. Alfort is one of Japan’s most loved chocolate biscuits! Classic chocolate one is blue package, but this time
I found Green tea verison and today I picked up Rich Milk! Let’s open it! The Rich Milk flavor uses extra creamy milk chocolate. It’s smooth, mellow, and a bit more luxurious than the regular blue-pack Alfort. The bottom is biscuts, so you can enjoy such
as a chocolate sand! I think I like it more than usual chocolate version! Jagariko tower! Jagariko is one of Japan’s most popular
potato snacks I guess. The main flavor is 4types, Salad, Potato with butter Cheese Cod roe with butter I picked Salad version of Jagariko! This is the most classic and popular one in Japan. When you peel off the lid, you see all the potato sticks standing neatly inside. Each stick has little green and red vegetable flakes, You can enjoy a pleasant texture that’s crispy at first and then crunchy afterward! You must try it. Let’s open Pockey! It’s a thin biscuit stick covered in a smooth layer of chocolate. The combination is light, crispy, and just the right
amount of sweet. The classic red box is milk chocolate, but there are so many variations in Japan like strawberry, matcha, almond crush, and even seasonal limited editions. I also picked up Pocky Vanilla! I’ve been curious about this one for a long time. It’s a bit more expensive than regular Pocky,
but I decided to give it a try. Compared to the classic Pocky,
this version has a much thicker coating of chocolate. The chocolate is smooth and moist, and it tastes amazing. The mix of milk and vanilla has such a gentle flavor, and I really recommend it. The Ichiran corner here is absolutely huge! They have everything from cup noodles, to a rich and creamy kotteri version, to a spicy one. This is Cororo gummy, one of the most popular fruit gummies in Japan. And here is Ninja Meshi gummy. The concept is that it’s like the portable food ninjas used to carry, so it’s chewy and filling. I found such a cutie chocolate from Sanrio. I’m gonna buy it! Another version of Sanrio chocolate. That’s bigger one. Let’s open it! This chocolate is actually celebrating 50 years of My Melody and 20 years of Kuromi. So I’m guessing it might only be around for this year. Anyway, it’s seriously adorable. And I never knew Kuromi was created 30 years after
My Melody! The chocolates inside are just as cute as the package! Here’s the Hi-Chew corner—so many to choose from! The yellow one is Tropical Mix,
so I decided to pick this up. Ta-daa! It’s my first time trying this flavor. Hi-Chew is a soft candy made by Morinaga, famous for its juicy fruit taste and unique chewy texture. This pack comes with three flavors: mango,
pineapple, and banana. Each piece is individually wrapped. The texture is softer than gum,
but still really chewy! That chewy bite is exactly what makes Hi-Chew so special. Besides snacks, there are also plenty of drinks. I see a lot of matcha lattes here. Next up is Skincare corner! I really love Japanese sunscreens because
they work so well. This one is tone up version. There are also so many different types to choose from. It’s super resistant to sweat, water, friction,
and even movement so for me this is the strongest one. Wow, this one even comes with added vitamins! Euthymol Toothpaste is a toothpaste brand
originated in the UK, and it has recently been gaining attention in Japan. This one is especially focused on whitening effects, too. It’s one of my favorites. This time I found not just Pikachu,
but three other designs as well. They actually work really well since they’re made with moisturizing ingredients like shea butter. I see a lot of matcha lattes here. The lipstick itself has a Poké Ball shape on the tip, and it looks so cute. I heard it was already sold out online, so I feel really lucky I got one today. Wipes that instantly cool you down on hot days. A refreshing mist spray for a quick cool-down. Matcha-themed moisturizing lip treatment. Peach-themed moisturizing lip treatment. Sunscreen spray with a sweet peach scent. Cooling wipes with a fresh soap fragrance. Verbena scent version. Another Citrus version. Self-heating eye mask featuring My Melody. This time, I choose Hello Kitty version.
Let’s open it! Here’s the Hello Kitty Character Hot Eye Mask! When you put it on, it even makes you look like Kitty herself—so cute, with big sparkling eyes. Once you open it, the mask starts to warm
up with gentle steam. It stays at around 40 degrees Celsius for about
15 to 20 minutes comfortably wrapping your eyes and helping them refresh! This is perfect for travel, bedtime, or anytime you just want to pamper yourself. Heroine Make Series✨ This one is for advanced eyelash serum for
stronger, fuller lashes. This one is Eyelash care serum for daily use. Smudge-proof mascara with long-lasting curl. Intense black mascara for dramatic volume. This one is another popular mascara that lengthens
and curls lashes. Japanese eye cream with soy isoflavone for aging care. Face Mask Corner is particulary huge compared
to other products! This series one of the most popular series. Brightening sheet mask with vitamin C. Anti-aging sheet mask with NMN and niacinamide. Sheet mask to calm and refresh with tea tree. High-tech skincare mask with exosome formula. This is a face pack, but it’s actually a partial one, designed just for eye and mouth areas. This one from Lululun, seems to be the super popular face mask brand, and it’s actually their premium series! Brightening and refreshing vitamin-infused mask. Skincare mask for uneven skin tone and texture. Classic Japanese daily-use hydrating mask. Brightening Korean sheet mask with glutathione. Cleansing Oil Corner! Gentle oil cleanser that removes makeup quickly. Strong cleansing oil for waterproof makeup. Makeup remover with added hydration. This one is another popular Japanese cleansing oil with a luxurious feel. Now I’m heading up to the 4th floor, the souvenir section. Here they sell clothing items and even
anime character socks. But I came here today with something very specific in mind! Ta-daa! It’s the Hello Kitty tracksuit! It’s only been on sale for less than a week, and the M size had just one piece left—so lucky! I didn’t even hesitate and grabbed the pink one.✨🐻 But I came here today with something very specific in mind! First up, this one looks like a name tag you can
attach to your suitcase. There’s a hairband with Hello Kitty’s
cute ribbon design. And look at this unusual keychain—it’s the trending sun-tanned “gal style” Hello Kitty. What’s funny is that two Kitty faces are connected together…😂 These nail clippers are adorable too. The caps are shaped like My Melody’s face
and Kuromi’s face. Honestly, I want to buy them all, but since I’m a little short on cash this time,
I’ll just have to hold back. That’s it for my little shopping tour at Donquijote! I had so much fun looking through all the snacks, cosmetics,
and cute character goods. Every time I come here, there’s something new to discover. If you enjoyed this video, check out my other ones too— I’ve shared more spots around Tokyo like Harajuku, Shibuya, and etc… See you in the next video!
I went shopping at MEGA Don Quijote Shibuya, the biggest discount store in the area, and it was such a fun experience!
I love how you can find literally everything here—from Japanese snacks and matcha KitKats to cute character goods, cosmetics, and even sake.
The best part is that it’s open 24 hours, so I didn’t have to worry about the time. It’s also tax-free, which makes it super convenient for travelers. Since it’s right near Shibuya Crossing, I felt like it was the perfect place to pick up souvenirs for friends and family.
