For sunset, we headed to the highlight of Tottori Prefecture, the vast sand dunes, glowing golden in the fading light and offering dramatic compositions against the sea. Their sheer scale was breathtaking, especially with a lone figure walking along the ridge, dwarfed by the endless waves of sand. After night fell, we returned to the city, where cherry blossoms lined the banks of the Fukurogawa River.
