Kyoto, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ | Travel Vlog Japan Series – Episode 04

Hello everyone, I hope you are having an amazing day.

In this episode 04 for the Japan series, my family and I ventured out to the outskirts of Osaka City where we visited Kyoto. However our true intention is to visit the famous attraction of all we have seen on YouTube and that is the Arashiyama Bamboo forest. The journey took quite awhile to get us to Kyoto as we took the special railway train all the way until the last stop which is the Hankyu Arashiyama Station. Arashiyma means Mount Hurricane in Japanese.

The walk from the station to the town was roughly about 30 minutes. Upon reaching the town we managed to discover the entrance to the bamboo forest. since my family decided to follow their own itinerary, I decided to treat myself and took the chance to ride the rickshaw which includes a special tour around the area. My rickshaw driver Hikaru was an amazing tour guide and he is also skilled in taking photos at a designated spot for photo shooting.

After the whole tour ended, we decided to take the train back to shinsaibashi where we had halal Pakistani food as a late lunch and we ended the day by shopping at Parco before heading back to our hotel to rest up for the next day.
