IT IS SO GOOD. Well the miso soup is superrr good. The buri diakon is a lil bit of a let down, just doesnt have as much flavor as I thought it would from how it looks. Idk I even added more of each ingredient than the recipe called for just because it seemed like a small amount foe how much water it uses, ans it still is sorta bland. Tho the fish is cooked perfectly and the daikon is very good.
The miso soup with my homemade awase dashi is just sooooo good, especially with the mushrooms I added.

    I am sure you have alot more daikon left, use a mandolin and slice it really thin. Pour the soup into the bowl with the raw daikon. wait like 2-3 mins and then eat. Not as flavorful as your dish shown, but more crispier and a mild miso flavor
