Osaka Expo organizers said they will end the online sale of admission tickets on September 30.

They announced on September 25 that the move is aimed at providing people who have unused tickets without reservations with the opportunity to attend the event.

Entry slots to the expo venue in Osaka were almost fully booked through the end of the six-month fair on October 13.

From September 27, same-day tickets will not be sold but can be exchanged for unused tickets.

But there are only several hundred same-day tickets available per day.

S/ Kobayashi Koji, Osaka Expo PR official / This is a measure aimed at helping people with tickets without reservations use them, even just a little.
