CAMP ZAMA, Japan – Not only has Gabriel Simpkins shown what he can do as a running back. He can also dazzle as an option passer as well.
The Zama junior rushed for three long touchdown runs and threw one of five scoring passes by the Trojans on Friday as they routed Robert D. Edgren 55-13 at Zama’s Barry Huitema Memorial Field.
It was the second straight win for the Trojans (2-2), by a combined 98-21 point margin. The Eagles fell to 1-2, following their 34-0 win last Saturday at Osan.
