AGANA HEIGHTS, Guam – Christian Polite has proven as welcome a sight as could be expected for Guam High’s football team this season.

The senior transfer ran 66 yards for a touchdown and returned an interception 70 yards for another as the Panthers recorded their first win in three tries this season, 18-7 over previously unbeaten Southern.

“He’s a very valuable asset in all phases of the game,” Panthers longtime assistant coach Greg Jacobs said of Polite. “Now, the Panthers are playing football.”
