Our First Nights in Okinawa π―π΅ | Exploring Naha & Lawson Runs
We’re here in Okinawa, guys. It’s our first night. [Music] Well, we expected this to be a little bit cooler like the Philippines. [Music] Heat. Hey, heat. Hey, heat. Just got out. A little humid out here right now. Here’s the fandam. Should be a 5minut walk from the MRT. And now we’re just using the GPS to lead us to where it is. But you know what’s the mission for tonight? First convenience store that we’re going to walk by. We’re going to raid before heading to the hotel. Right. Right. No. Yeah. Okay. This is fresh. Watch out for a car here. Yeah. I feel like we’ve been here before. It’s our first, but Lawson, it’s not our first. [Music] A cute little room. [Applause] We’re here in Okinawa, guys. It’s our first night. We just arrived and it’s kind of late. So, we’re of course we’re going to do a floss raid. Yay. Favorite. Our favorite place in Japan. Oniri time. Ooh, pickled plum. Salmoni. They have Orion merch. What’s this one? Pineapple flavor. Pineapple. I don’t want one. Is this like a mint? This is bitter melon melon pan. Let me see. Oh, we got to get a Okinawa sticker. [Music] So, we spent a lot. So, they gave us some free tea. I know. First night in Okinawa and we rated our first night at Lawson’s the kids are happy. Familiar and dad and it’s just right behind our hotel which is really cool. Absolutely. Yeah. All right, Lawson’s haul. So, we got spami pork and omelette with tuna mayo. We got two of those. Two of these. Spamubi’s big here. Sar’s got his egg sandwich. Egg sandwiches. In Japan, you got to have it. One curries. Pickle claw. Salmon. How many did we get? Four, five, six, seven. I think we got like eight cuz I ate one already. 800 candies, pineapple. I need some fruits. Someone got squid. And then we got a bunch of drinks and frozen desserts. Ice cream. Waffle ice cream. And then And then we got two of these. It’s like It’s like popsicles without stick. Yeah. Great flavor. And then bunch of tea. The ice cream is like so worth it right now because it’s hot here. Korean shin ramen. Eating it in Japan. Got to have it. Feels like home. Loves these ramen chips and then his potato chips. And then daddy got his melon pond. We We didn’t really buy anything that’s like kind of new to us yet. We bought all our familiar stuff first. So, first night and then tomorrow explore. [Music] matching. Super soft. I like it. Comfy. Yeah. Ready for bed. Morning. Okinawa. Oh, it’s nice out there. Yeah, a little bit cloudy, but yeah, it’s nice and bright. [Music] Keep an eye out for Blue Seal, kids. Keep an eye out. We made it. [Music] The cheeses I’ve never got flavor. I got the pistachio and coconut apple. [Music] Two sweets in there. And then T. What you got? Strawberry and strawberry cheesecake. Strawberry and strawberry cheesecake. He loves strawberries. Thank you guys. This our treat for reward for walking. [Music] kind of tastes like uh cinnamon funnel cake. Ooh. What is it called? Andy. Undogi. Yeah. Greetings, citizens. I’m going to try this. Why does this one have like a claw? What the heck? M. What are your thoughts? Hold on. One word. Okinawa. Yeah. I mean, it’s good. Yeah. We tried it in like a cinnamon. Yeah. So it’s not like, you know, the the real coconut one donut, but we got to try it like in a plain version next time. Yeah, that’s what they meant. Pretty good. Yeah. With the cinnamon. Like little baby churros or something. Exactly. Yeah. Let’s go. [Music] They don’t know. [Music] foreign. [Music] could All [Music] [Applause] [Music] right, we’re here at Blue Seal. This is Okinawa’s blue ice cream. Looks like there’s 31 flavors, right? Okinawa. The kids and daddy went earlier today to go try some flavors. So, this is my first time tonight. I don’t know what to get. There’s so many flavors. What’s your goal? My goal? My goal is to try all the flavors while we’re here. So, that means everybody’s got to get like double up on the flavors so we can like sample it all. [Music] and doggy. [Music] Thank you. [Music] [Music] What is this? This is cool. [Music] All right. So, we are going to A&W root beer. Yes, that’s an American American classic and they have them all over here in Okinawa. Isn’t that crazy? Go in there for the nostalgic bags cuz we haven’t been there. I haven’t been to one at all. Got to get the root beer float. What are you guys going to get? Onion rings. Onion rings. All right. We’ll see what they have. No more. Oh, okay. No more. Oh, that’s what he was saying. He was saying there’s no more A&W. A take a picture of this. A, it means a there’s no more D&W. All right. So, another option. [Music] [Music] Where are we? [Music] So, we’re in line next to be seated. And yeah, it’s actually kind of cool. Like, it’s nice that they have indoor like lines cuz normally in like Tokyo, you got to be standing outside and outside here. So, that’s kind of cool. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] This is enough. [Music] [Applause] [Music]
