Day Trip from Tokyo: Yokohama 🇯🇵 Top Things to Do, See & Eat!

We have just arrived at the cruising terminal. And we have made it guys to the
red brick warehouse. Actually, there’s two of them. Wasn’t expecting that. So,
we’ve now come to the Chinatown here in Yokohama, and it’s apparently the biggest Chinatown
here in Japan. So, this wasn’t on our list, but when I saw a heartshaped fried chicken,
I just couldn’t resist. That’s the cutest. I love his hat. You know, I’m all the joy for
boys. She’s my sc. She asks me when I say, “Let’s go out dancing. Your plays are mine.
Don’t waste my time with dancing. She’s wild. She’s funny. Doesn’t care about clothes or
money. She just cares for me. She’s all I need. She’s my incredible. And I love the fact that
you can order small portions because you can try so many of different types. We have just arrived,
guys, to Yokohama Station. From Tokyo, we took the Asakusa line, which took just under an hour to get
here. Now, if you’re coming from Tokyo Station, you want to take the Yokosuka line because it
only takes 30 minutes to get to this station. So, we’re exiting from the east exit of Yokohama
Station. That’s because we’re heading to the Bay Quarter where you can take the Sea Bass boat
along the water here in Yokohama. We got to buy our tickets from this machine. Fortunately,
we do have the English language option just over here. You can see the route. We have
to be very quick cuz our boat is arriving, but we’re here at Yokohama Bay Quarter. We
want to go to Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. Uh, but this is sold out. So, we’re
going to go to Yamashita Park, which is more frequent. We can go for this
time. We’re going to have two of us there. So, it’s 1,000 yen per person. We’re going to pay by
credit card. You can pay by IC card. That’s cool. That’s one. That’s two. And we are departing guys. We made it in time. So, we do have outdoor seating. I’m
going to check inside of this SeaBass, which I believe is a play on a sea
bus. So, plenty of seating. It’s air conditioned inside of here and you
have really nice views outside of this window. Ladies first. Thanks. I love the
windows. The windows are really nice. Yeah. We have just arrived at the cruising terminal. So the original plan guys was to head directly
to the red brick warehouse. However, when we got to the seabar station, the next boat was in
an hour, which was quite a surprise to us. And so we decided to go to Yamashita Park directly
because the boats were more frequent. But it’s only 5 minute walk, 5 10 minute walk to the red
brick warehouse, which we can see right in front of us just in the distance. It’s actually a really
nice view as we’re approaching. And we have made it guys to the red brick warehouse. Actually,
there’s two of them. Wasn’t expecting that. Now, these buildings were built in the early 1900s
as customs buildings to the Yokohama port. What they’ve done is actually kind of gentrified them.
They’ve turned them into these event spaces. So, what you’ll see is a sea of people just over
there. There is a hamburger festival going on. So, there’s hundreds of these food
vans selling these hamburgers. So, we’ve now come to the Chinatown here in
Yokohama, and it’s apparently the biggest Chinatown here in Japan. And I can already smell a
lot of different smells. And we are hungry because it’s lunchtime. So, let’s head in and eat. We are
inside of Chinatown. It is absolutely mental here. There is so many people. Literally a sea of people
right in front of me. I can’t even see to the end. There’s that many people. But one thing that
we’ve spotted is there is so many food options here. Left, right, and center. We’re surrounded
by food. So, we’ve come to the right place. So, the first thing we went for are these beautiful
fried pork soup dumplings. And it actually comes with a set. So, the four of these dumplings and
the boba milk tea that Jay is drinking right now because he was so enjoying myself. Yeah. Yeah.
It’s 1,350 Japanese yen. So, it’s not too bad. Be careful of the soup. Be careful of the soup.
There we go. When in Japan, break all the rules. I’m doing a terrible job of it, but it’s
so juicy and it’s actually piping hot. No, you can order it here. Yeah, I can’t.
Oh, order here. Okay. One chocolate custard bun by card is okay. Or okay. Thank you.
Oh, this one here. Okay. I absolutely love this shop. They’ve got all of these really
cute kawaii buns. So, this is a panda bun, but I have also seen a shark fin bun. There’s
shark fins inside of the bun, which is crazy. And also braised pork bun. I was very tempted
to go for that because I love that juicy fatty pork. But inside of this bun over here, I’ve
got chocolate cream. When they give it to us, she said to me to carry it like this because
it is piping hot. Let’s open this panda up and see what’s inside of here. So that’s that
chocolate custard. Almost looks like red bean. I wonder actually if it is red bean. M. Is it
chocolatey? So it is indeed red bean. It said chocolate custard. What it is is the red bean
is combined with the chocolate. Very delicious. Mhm. If you’re watching this video, chances are

on our list, but when I saw a heartshaped fried chicken, I just couldn’t resist. I’m quite
surprised cuz you usually don’t like fried foods. Yeah, but it’s a heart. And it’s biting
hot. So, let me be careful. And let’s dig in. Ooh, that looks good. Crispy.
Oh, hot and juicy. Thank you. Hello. Hello, my friends. It’s
the cutest. I love his hats. Whenever there’s an opportunity to have
peeking duck, I’m going to be there. And we’ve been spotting these little wraps being
sold in Chinatown. Let’s give it a go, guys. I’m a tiny bit disappointed only because
it’s literally full of cucumber. So, I didn’t get that flavor of the duck.
No, the worst from you guys. Yeah, this is not not very good. Look,
there’s just so much cucumber in there. What did we do? Yes, So, we got to skip the queue
because we booked through KLOOK. opening. Please stand clear. Whoa. foreign country. I know I love the ticket. Yeah, it’s pretty cool. So, we’ve come to the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum.
Right now, we’re in the basement and in the food hall. It’s incredible. It really feels like you’re
coming into this old school environment and I just love all of the design elements. What
they serve is ramens from all the different regions of Japan. And what I have in front of
me is a beautiful soy sauce ramen. The smell coming from it is just incredible. All right, I’m
going to give a broth a go. See how this tastes. Oh yeah, that is really delicious. And
of course, ordering ramen in Japan, we’re gonna be doing it on a machine.
So, this one is a tonkotsu ramen. Yeah, it looks so good with the seasoned
boiled egg. I’m going to go for this one, I think. Let’s go to purchase. These are the ways
you can pay. We’re going to pay with credit card. Past the credit card. So, the total is 1,760
yen. Please wait. The ticket is now printing. Oh, this is cool. We get to sit down
by the counter. We can sit here. Ladies, so exciting. I love actually sitting
in the country. It’s a really cool experience. The smell coming of all these ramens
in this museum is just amazing. Incredible. And I love the fact that you
can order small portions because you can try so many of different types. Okay, guys.
Let’s give this broth a go. It’s more of a creamier broth compared to the soy sauce
one. Oh my god, you’re going to love it. It’s so rich. M. Very porky. I love that.
Comforting. One thing that you might spot in the background is that everyone eating here
is Japanese. So, you know, it’s a good place. That was delicious. Oy. She just cares
for me. She’s all I need. She’s my makes a grown man sweat and smile. money be ain’t
nothing she would not do for me. She never plays a coin in my bottle of joy. She’s the one I’ve been
dreaming of. I’m overjoyed cuz boy, she’s my girl.
