Susan Xing

The Little Tokyo Parkinson’s Support Team will hold its next meeting on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Union Church of Los Angeles, 401 E. Third St. (at San Pedro Street) in Little Tokyo.

The guest speaker will be Susan Xing, MSOT, OTR/L, who received her master’s in occupational therapy at Columbia University in New York. She has previous experience working with medically complex and socioeconomically disadvantaged populations at Bellevue Hospital in New York City.

Currently she is completing her fellowship at the USC Occupational Therapy Faculty Practice. Her expertise lies in providing holistic care through lifestyle redesign interventions, working with clients on building healthy habits and routines to better man-age chronic conditions such as Parkinson’s multiple sclerosis, migraines, and mental health.

Members, new per-sons, and their families, friends and caregivers are invited to attend.
