Hokkaido Summer Road Trip : Japan Travel Vlog : Jun – Jul 2025 : Otaru Furano Biei Sapporo : Part 3

Morning coffee with stuning view from hotel 2nd floor common area.

Today we visit tourist attraction spots in Biei and Furano.

– Seven Star Tree
– Patchwork Road
– Parent & Child Tree

These 3 spots are not far from each other, so it’s Ok. Patchwork is beautiful, the other 2 are just a tree. One was used as logo on Seven Star cigarette package.

– Shirogane Blue Pond
– Shirahige Waterfall

These 2 spot is a must visit. A little crowded but worth it. Water in the pond is so blue, it’s amazing. Then drive around 4-5 min, you will reach the waterfall which also beautiful.

– King Bear Curry Soup

The place is not big, alway crowded. Make sure arrive before lunch time. Curry in Hokkaido is totally different from the other part of Japan. It’s a soup. Full of flavor. I think it go very well with fried chicken.

– Ningle terrace

A charming, fairytale-like village of wooden cottages on the grounds of the New Furano Prince Hotel in Furano, where local artisans sell handmade crafts and local souvenirs in a serene pine forest setting. It’s known for its magical atmosphere, especially when lit up at night in the winter, and features boardwalks, a forest setting, and a small cafe. Unfortunately, we didn’t stay until they lit up, definately will come again in winter.

– Furano Cheese Factory

If you like cheese, this is a place to be. Come before 4:00pm. so you won’t miss their pizza.

– Oshokuji to Goenkai no Mise Kumagera

Dinner at 16:30pm. since we already in Furano. Tofu, beef bowl and Sukiyaki is a MUST.
