Since the announcement of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls back in June, we’ve yet to see any additional characters revealed for the game.
We know about eight characters so far, all of whom were shown off in the amazing reveal trailer.
While there have been several good opportunities for Sony and Arc System Works to show new characters, they’ve all come and gone without a trace, including the recent State of Play.
However, Tokyo Game Show is on right now, and Marvel Tokon is getting its very own stage presentation very soon indeed:
Mark your calendars!
We will be live from Tokyo on Saturday 27th, from 8:40pm PDT with an exclusive stage session featuring the MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls development team, followed by an exhibition match on Arc System Works’s stage!https://t.co/yOtLah494S pic.twitter.com/xiWb6IR3Rc— MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls (@MARVELTokon) September 25, 2025
The game’s official accounts have confirmed an event of sorts “featuring the MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls development team, followed by an exhibition match on Arc System Works’s stage”.
This will be live streamed on YouTube on 27th September (or 28th depending on where you are in the world) at the following times:
North America: 8:40pm (Sat) PDT / 9:40pm (Sat) MDT / 10:40pm (Sat) CDT / 11:40pm (Sat) EDTUK/Ire: 4:40am BSTEurope: 5:40am CEST / 6:40am EESTAsia/Oceania: 12:40pm JST / 11:40am AWST / 1:40pm AEST
This seems like a perfect opportunity to unveil a character or two, but we’ve said that about several other showcases in the past, so we don’t want to get our hopes up too high. That being said, this is a Marvel Tokon-specific presentation, so the odds seem a little better here.
Here’s hoping we get something. Which characters would you like to see revealed for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls? Tell us in the comments section below.
