【京都の格安マリオット系ホテル！】『フォーポイントフレックスbyシェラトン京都御池』ダブル客室宿泊記

I’m at the Four Points Flex by Sheraton Kyoto Oike! This hotel is a Mario-style business hotel, as you’d expect! You have to stay two nights to get one night’s credit, but it’s so affordable that it’s totally forgivable! It’s conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Karasuma-Oike Station! The entrance is so Kyoto-style, it’s hard to believe it’s a business hotel . On either side of this Kyoto-style modern (sort of) corridor is…? Yes, Kyoto! And…? Kyoto!! Wow, it really is Kyoto… (mysterious) At the entrance, there’s a Four Points X’s footsteps. Stepping on that Four Points X mark, let’s go! The entrance plaza is quite spacious! There are three check-in tables, and you can check in as many times as you like! The Gion Festival is right in the middle! There are rice dumplings! For the window-sitters, there’s a sofa set for lounging around. Behind it is the Kyoto International Conference Center… why? ? For the window-sitters, there’s also a chair for lounging around. Beyond the window, a miniature Kyoto garden unfolds . Is there something across from the check-in table? The amenities are available from here . From the drawer below…? Pajamas. The wall is decorated with the same hyper-chic art found at Fourpo X in Kitahama, Osaka, but underneath are accessories that evoke a Kyoto vibe! The elevator buttons are shiny and chic. I get off the chic elevator and walk down the hallway to the 9th floor… Room 911, the Fourpo X card key type. I tap…huh? 💦 What does that mean? ? I tap again!! All right! Open! ♪ After passing through a hallway with a familiar size, I find myself in a room that’s narrow…! No… compact!! A double guest room (14㎡)! This Fourpo X only has 14㎡ and 19㎡ (twin) rooms. What’s the view from this 14㎡ room…? Frosted glass!! The view from the window that opens just a little… is a view of the buildings! The curtains, by the way… are manual, fully automatic closing type! The double bed makes a statement♪ The room is overflowing with pillows for pillow fights!! There’s Kyoto-style art on the wall…and also the Kyoto International Conference Center? There’s a centralized electrical control system next to the pillow, but no power outlets or USB ports… and a Sumikkogurashi one-person lazy sofa. Next to it is a study desk that’s immediately visible, and what about this half-open drawer…? Is this…an English Kyoto instruction manual?! (I can’t read it) And here’s a Japanese Kyoto guide, which I can read ♪ On the right, there are various types of mobile phone charging cables ♪ The teshu is made of what looks like synthetic leather. There are two power outlets along the wall, but no USB ports here either…what a shame… the FourPoint X telephone is a stylish one that sticks on doors…? I can’t read English…(crying) The back is in Japanese! I can read it!!! The TV is wall-mounted, and it’s huge in this room… On the far right of the desk is everyone’s favorite minibar corner♪ The top one is an unused safe, and the second shelf is a minibar♪ And right below that is a minibar with an electric kettle and a fully stocked tea, coffee, and tea♪ On the far left is a refrigerator, but it’s empty… you can fill it up as you like , and there’s no temperature control… Next, let’s take a look at the entrance♪ There are no storage compartments, just the Emon hanger exposed, and underneath is a smell-free sprayer , a shoehorn and shoe polish wipe, and sanitized slippers. There are two power outlets in a rather unusual location… for cleaning? ? The air conditioner has a nice, ancient feel… Next to the entrance is a gigantic full-length mirror. The room is here, and it’s almost the same size. There’s one that sticks on the door; without it, we wouldn’t clean or change the towels. And as for this semi-erotic door…? Just as I expected, the bathroom has appeared! Multiple functions are compactly concentrated in one room! The washbasin doesn’t have much storage space… but by making good use of the space, we can expand it! The fluffy towels are all space-saving, and the hair dryer is Panasonic. Looking up, the electricity is so close… why…? A bathtub of this size is unique to Fourpo X! (lol) The liquid soaps are also placed on top. Even here, they utilize the space, which is super convenient~♪ The shower is only a handheld type, and the water pressure is… very strong 💪💪💪 The curtain rail is also curved to fit the shape of the bathtub… And even this Fourpo X-sized bathroom is equipped with a shower toilet, which is really helpful… Next, let’s take a stroll around the building♪ We found a welcome juice corner in the lobby plaza♪ Tea, tea, and tea are all available, including Yellow Monkey and Lipton candy . Delicious adult juice (coffee) and water, Homasseen. At the back of the lobby plaza, there’s a vending machine corner. Next to it is “Boss Mart”…? ? Food is on display! You can pay using the vending machine… right next to it! There’s a ‘microwave’ type! There’s nothing on the shelves, though… and an ice ‘microwave’ type on the other side! Hoshizaki of the World~♪ Next up is the laundry shop, where there are two state-of-the-art drum-type washing machines and automatic detergent dispenser! ? So high-tech~♪ Okay! I’m hungry, time for some food!! This Four Po X is the best because Matsuya is attached to it. They’re having a limited-time B-class gourmet fair right now. I’m trying “Imabari Yakibuta Tamagohan” (Imabari Grilled Pork and Egg Rice), a local delicacy originating from Imabari City, and cutting into a soft-boiled egg! ♪ So photogenic~📸 I finished it in seconds, so I’m taking a night walk now. Four Po X, and it’s so pretty. This miniature garden is also lit up… so nice♪ Finally, the customary wooden toothbrush challenge! Wooden, come on, plastic-like… Ohamoni, fully manual curtains, activated! Dreadful… What’s the weather today…? So frosted glass… thin windows, clear skies ☀ Even with the platinum benefits, breakfast isn’t included, so I bought it for 8.8 million yen (tax included) and actually got to eat at the Matsuya attached to it! The best♪ Breakfast is a choice of menu, and as you’d expect from Kyoto, it’s written in English as well (I can’t read it) A-D… The first choice is… you! Free extra large rice…?! There’s a drink corner in the back with a wide variety of drinks, and if you have a breakfast ticket it’s free!? Seriously?!? I got a voucher at the counter! So A4…? Yes, I’m the winner♪ A’s grilled salmon Japanese set meal♪ Japanese breakfast (salmon), white rice (regular portion) , Tsubaki Oniyakko (chilled tofu!), namamamagoo (raw egg) , tsukemon (pickles ), miso soup (pork soup), seaweed (nori). Four Points Flex by Sheraton Kyoto Oike… Conveniently located near the station, perfect for sightseeing♪ And yet it’s the best Marriott hotel at a super low price♪ I recommend it!

ご存じマリオット系ビジネスホテル「フォーポイントフレックスバイシェラトン」、烏丸御池駅から5分と言う観光にも最適なアクセスのよいホテル！
駐車場はないけど近くにコインパーキングが大量にあるので車で行ってもなかなかヨシ！
朝食はプラチナ特典でも付かないけど、松屋が併設されていて880円で朝食券を購入可能！
以前のホテルユニゾからのリニューアルだけど、施設もきれいでこの価格なら全然お得感がハンパない！
