The popular manga series Attack on Titan has “appeared” underground at Osaka Station in collaboration with IMV Co., Ltd., a company specializing in vibration testing, measurement, analysis equipment, and related services. The campaign, titled Supporting Humanity’s Manufacturing with Vibration!, features original visuals from the manga reimagined with a unique twist.

Vibration testing is a method of evaluating the durability and safety of products and structures by applying oscillations. It is widely used in the development of automobiles, construction materials, and even in transportation testing for fragile items like fruits and desserts. IMV, headquartered in Nishiyodogawa-ku, Osaka, plays a key role in supporting manufacturing with its vibration technologies.

The ads explore the theme of what if vibration testing existed in the world of Attack on Titan?, altering memorable scenes from the series. In total, 12 different visuals have been created, with humorous lines such as “Did that wall undergo a vibration test?”, “It shakes too much, the ride is terrible”, and “In fact… Wall Rose was never tested for vibrations…”.
The visuals are displayed across multiple transportation advertising spots in Osaka. All 12 designs can also be viewed on IMV’s recruitment website.
