In the last vlog I just finished eating at Sushi Dai at Tsukiji Fish Market, and here is part II of the remainder of my day at Tsukiji Fish Market. We’ll mostly be just looking around and sampling a few thing since I’m full from my omakase breakfast haha. There is a nice coffee shop called Turret Coffee in Tsukiji if you need some coffee to help you power you through the day.
Afterwards I’ll be heading back to Tsukiji Fish market to do a bit of exploring and sampling some of the street food at the market. We’ll be grabbing some delicious grilled eel, ice cream, otoro, and some maguroyaki’s along the way! There are tons of people and vendors here selling fresh seafood, fruit, and desserts throughout the market.
Just note that the market closes in the early afternoon and some shop start to close at noon. If you want to grab the better selection of food & items to buy come early! Also a lot of the market is cash only so remember to bring cash.
There are a lot of vendors selling fresh seafood and I decided to buy some tuna to bring back to the hostel. The prices here area steal when compared to the prices that I pay back in the U.S. Note I would probably buy some cheap knife from Daiso or something to cut the fish. Unfortunately my knife back at the hostel was dull.
