Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Rahbi, Chef de Mission of the Omani delegation to the 20th Asian Games (Aichi/Nagoya 2026), and Majid bin Khamis Al-Hinai, the delegation’s administrator, took part in the Chefs de Mission Meetings for the Games, held in Japan from September 22 and concluding this evening, Thursday.
The meetings reviewed all technical and administrative details related to the participation of countries in the Games, particularly regarding host cities, accommodation and competition venues, sports complexes, training facilities, and the services provided to National Olympic Committees. The program also included visits to several competition venues.
It is worth noting that the 20th Asian Games will feature the participation of nearly 15,000 athletes and officials representing the 45 National Olympic Committees of Asia. The Games are scheduled to take place from September 19 to October 4, 2026, and are considered the second largest multi-sport event in the world after the Summer Olympic Games.
