As the sun goes down… …the Expo reveals a different kind of magic. Our first discovery of the night… …a pavilion filled with the sound of pianos. Made for kids, but enchanting for everyone. Playful, creative, and very beautiful. Just wandering through the cool night air. Every corner is lit up with a different story. Next, a journey to Malaysia. The story begins with its incredible cuisine… …but it’s the humble and touching story of the country that truly captivates you. They showed a beautiful short film… …and just like that, a new dream was born. Kuala Lumpur is now on my travel wish list. As the night begins to wind down… …I head back up to the top of the Grand Ring. For one last look. Up here, a group of kids were standing in front of me… …just looking up at the sky, full of wonder. And then I saw it. In that moment, it felt like I was looking at myself as a kid… …here, in Japan, living a dream I’ve had for so long. The pure, innocent beauty of a dream coming true. The perfect end to a magical night. Time to check into my tiny home for the night. My capsule. Cozy and futuristic. Goodnight, Osaka. Thank you for sharing this dream with me.

Welcome back to my Osaka Diaries. As the sun sets, a completely different kind of magic awakens at the World Expo 2025, and this episode is all about capturing that after-dark atmosphere.

Our evening journey begins with a visit to a truly unique and interactive pavilion filled with pianos, a perfect spot for kids and a very “Instagrammable” discovery for all. After a cinematic walk through the beautifully lit grounds, we dive into the rich culture and stories of the Malaysia Pavilion.

As the night draws to a close, we’ll experience the Expo’s closing atmosphere, a spectacle of lights and energy as the day’s events conclude. The adventure doesn’t end there, as I’ll then take you with me to my home for the night: the futuristic Arco Capsule Hotel, for a look inside my personal capsule.
