Carmina, the Balearic artisanal footwear brand, is progressing with the development of its retail network. In line with its plans for 2025, the brand will add three new stores in the final quarter of the year, with openings in Luxembourg, London and Tokyo.

On September 30, the brand will open a boutique on Avenue de la Porte-Neuve in Luxembourg. On October 15, it will make its debut in London’s Mayfair with a store on Clifford Street, an area home to art galleries and tailors. And on November 30, it will open its Tokyo store on Marunouchi Naka-dori.
With these three openings, Carmina will consolidate its international presence and bring its total to ten boutiques, as its network also extends to Palma, Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, New York (with stores at Grand Central and on Madison Avenue) and San Francisco. The brand’s next steps will take it to Germany, with Munich and Hamburg as priority locations; in parallel, it will continue to work on its expansion in the United States, its largest market by turnover.
Tracing its origins back to 1866 (although it launched as a commercial brand in 1997), Carmina has made artisanal production in Mallorca its hallmark. It has two factories on the island and produces around 60,000 pairs of shoes a year; and although its focus is on developing its own retail network, it also operates in the multi-brand channel with between 50 and 70 points of sale (depending on the season).
The brand focuses its offering on men’s footwear, although 25% of its catalogue is dedicated to women’s styles. In financial terms, it ended 2024 with 20 million euros in turnover.
