Chicken Sho Tsuyoshi (Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) is a renovated machiya (townhouse) built in the Meiji era with a garden and storehouse. The magnificent one-piece zelkova and camphor wood counter, surrounded by shining copper plate walls and spherical pendant lights, is a gorgeous decoration that is hard to believe this is a yakitori restaurant.
