Hi all, I recently got my license and I was really curious to look at some JDM cars with the thoughts that some of them might be LHD, turns out I am a bit wrong and knowing conversion kits are expensive and very time consuming, figured Id ask here.

Do anyone of you know any websites that are selling LHD JDM cars, or just cheap(er) LHD-european cars in general that can be shipped/imported? I live in the netherlands myself, thanks

If a car is jdm it was always rhd to begin with. Cars that were converted from rhd to lhd have problems/the conversion was never done right/corners were cut like 80% of the time. Rhds (converted or not) also have problems with registering in some jurisdictions.

If you really really absolutely have to drive jdm – look for jdm imports from the uk and bite the bullet and just drive it in rhd. You can then convert it but if you’re asking here then you likely don’t know enough and you’ll end up spending as much as the car is worth to maybe convert it. The other option I would personally go for is to look for models which are (almost) the same in their eudm and jdm guise – miatas, lexus is – altezza, gs – aristo, most hondas etc etc.

You don’t need a JDM car just get a car from a Japanese manufacturer

You’re asking for a JDM car which is right hand drive to be LHD..

You could get a LHD 240sx and such which was sold in the US, or import one and convert it.

Ah the younger generations always thinking everything is a “kit”.

You mean non-jdm variant of Japanese cars? Anywhere outside of japan and non rhd specific countries where all cars are LHD.

Everyone saying JDM must be RHD is wrong. At least historically, many European cars sold there were LHD; these are still considered JDM as they were originally sold in Japan.
