The largest Saudi-Japan Investment Forum of its kind will be held in Osaka this week, with more than 1,500 participants expected from various priority investment sectors of the two friendly countries.

The forum will be held on the sidelines of a Saudi delegation’s visit to Japan, led by Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, which includes representatives from both the public and private sectors.

The visit, extending from September 22 to 24, 2025, will see Al-Falih meeting with a number of government officials and major private sector companies, with the aim of strengthening and advancing the comprehensive strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and Japan, focusing on priority investment sectors.

The visit will also include the 8th Saudi-Japan Vision 2030 Ministerial Meeting in Tokyo to review progress made, update previous initiatives, and follow up on their advancement, as well as agree on new areas of cooperation between the two countries.

On the sidelines of the official visit, several high-level Saudi-Japanese roundtable meetings will be held with senior officials and leading companies from both sides across various economic sectors to discuss investment opportunities and new partnerships.

Saudi Arabia to celebrate 95th National Day at Expo 2025 Osaka

Minister Al-Falih will also preside over the celebrations of the Saudi Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka on the occasion of the Kingdom’s 95th National Day and will tour a number of pavilions and the international exhibition.

Minister Al-Falih’s visit comes within the framework of the Saudi-Japan Vision 2030, which was signed during the historic visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Japan in 2016.

The vision serves the mutual interests of both countries in the fields of economy, trade, industry, security and culture, by aligning opportunities with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, Japan’s economic reform program, and Japan’s Fourth Industrial Revolution strategy, while also facilitating access to external markets.
