Jamaica’s men’s 4x100m team crashed out of contention at the Tokyo World Athletics Championships as they failed to complete the semi-finals on Saturday.
The final exchange between Ryiem Forde and Kishane Thompson was not completed after strong legs from Ackeem Blake and 100m gold medallist Oblique Seville.
The Jamaican team had failed to complete two races at the World Relays in China in March, forcing the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association to field a team at the London Diamond League to qualify for the World Championships.
