🥟 Lasagna dumplings are real in Japan

How many dumplings could you eat in one sitting? This is Chow Chow. My favorite gyoza spot in Tokyo. The only thing I don’t like about this place, it gives me FOMO. There’s easily 20 types of gyoza, and I want them all, but they’re classic, non-negotiable. Paper thin wrappers, crisp and golden with just enough filling that you’ll keep eating and eating. I then branched out to the shrimp gyoza in a sweet and spicy sauce, followed by green pepper gyoza that looked mild but really packed some heat. And then I went rogue. I had to sample their lasagna gyoza smothered in tomato sauce and mozzarella and baked until bubbling. The cheese pulls were endless. It’s not traditional, but it’s totally irresistible. I’m thinking of all the gyoza on the menu I haven’t tried. I’ll never catch up.
