#ReviewActivity #Review Whale Watching in Okinawa (Naha Departure)
Tq Marine Club Berry for this memorable trip! Great explanation by staff Sarah & Takahashi took photos of all of us there which was very nice! And of course we were very lucky the weather was good that morning & we can see many humpback whales! Highly recommend an activity in Okinawa ❤️. When the whale comes out of the water and sprays water, it usually takes more than 10 to 20 minutes for other whales to surface. The tour guide is very professional and uses this time to explain in detail. There are Japanese, Taiwanese, and Hong Kong people in our group, so there are Japanese and Mandarin tour guides with the group. The tour guide’s explanation was very good. Whenever the captain sees a whale, he will move to that place so that we can see it up close. Very dedicated company, highly recommended! Was able to see a bunch of whales when we went out to sea. The crew was good at turning around the boat to make sure we got to see the whales. They are very correct that sea sickness medicine would be useful. Overall it was a great experience to go whale watching. We managed to see the whale albeit from quite a distance. Recommend to take motion sickness pills before going as the waters can get choppy. Non Japanese will have a bit of problem understanding sometimes though. Great detailed guide tour. Whale guarantee watching. However, if you need to join the tour, pls make sure you prepared an enough sleep and well spirit 1 day before. The ocean could let you seasick easily. We really enjoyed the boat trip to see the humpback whales. The entire crew was very friendly and extremely professional. We saw several whales over an hour, and one of the crew members (a marine biologist) gave us a lot of information about the animals. We felt safe and comfortable, and everything ran smoothly and on time. An experience well worth participating in! But you need luck to see it, and remember to take some motion sickness pills in advance. I had eaten two pills an hour before departure, but an hour later when I went to the center of the sea and saw whales, the waves were so rough that I felt a little uncomfortable, but I didn’t vomit. So if you get seasick, the activity will be wasted, because then you will not be in the mood to go whale watching. We really enjoyed it. The guide was very nice. We even got to see real whales. Even though the weather was cold, it was worth it. Note: If you get seasick, you should bring some medicine. The weather is great today, sunny and windy… The merchant is very experienced and went to a place with many whales. It was super fun and a good experience. The day before departure, the Wave Club sent an email to customers to inform them that children aged 0-5, people with physical disabilities and the elderly cannot board the boat, and asked them to cancel the boat and reschedule the date, so that customers can make their own decisions. This is a good way.
