Eastern come unstuck against Gamba Osaka

Hong Kong, China club Eastern lost their opening match against Japan’s Gamba Osaka on Wednesday in their AFC Champions League Two campaign.

They lost 3-1 away to Osaka leaving them at the bottom of Group F in the competition’s East Region.

Eastern’s next match is against Vietnam’s Nam Dinh on October 2.

The AFC Champions League Two is Asia’s second-tier club football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation.
