Japanese restaurant group Taro has agreed a deal to open a new site at 60 Ship Street in Brighton.
The restaurant, which is due to open later this month, is Taro’s ninth location and its second site outside London.
A spokesperson for Taro said: “We are incredibly proud to be opening Taro Brighton – our first major venture outside of London. Brighton is a city full of energy, creativity and diversity, with a rich sense of history and community spirit – it felt like the perfect home for Taro’s next chapter.”
Alex Denning, from SHW, which acted for the landlord on the letting, added: “We’re delighted to have secured Taro at 60 Ship Street on behalf of our private client. Their arrival is a fantastic addition to Brighton’s vibrant food scene and we’re proud to have been a part of this exciting next step in their expansion.”
