Exploring Chiba

My name is Ash and welcome to Japan. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Well, hello. And yes, we are heading back to Japan, baby. Woo! We will be exploring all around Japan for 4 weeks. But before all that, we will first be exploring around Sheibba city. Sheibba city is located in the Kanto region east of Tokyo. Now before we get there, I’ll be traveling with Ash number two and he has a brother who also lives in Japan. Hopefully Ash’s brother can help us poor Westerners out. But anyways, we are at Brisbane airport and we grab some food and get ready for the 7-hour journey to Japan flying with the old kangaroo. Once we board the old Skippy flight, it’s nothing but sunsets, rainbows, and drinks. Woo! So, we land and you can just feel the energy of Japan, which pretty much means Pokemon. After seeing this, definitely the highlight of the airport. So, yeah, once we get through the immigration and all that fun stuff, we head out of the airport. And you know what? The first thing I’m doing, yeah, it’s beer time. And of course, we get some food. Okay, so now let’s look around Sheba City. All right, and we’re back in Japan and it’s raining and I got other Ash with me, Ash Senior. He’s over here as you can see. Where is he? Somewhere over here. And we’re here. We’re in Sheba at the moment. And it’s uh pretty cold, pretty rainy. Going to go see a temple, right? Or a castle, I should say. Go look at some shops and hopefully uh stay out of this weather cuz uh yeah, it’s not looking great. So, it should be fun. Going to explore Japan for 4 weeks. It’s going to be exciting. Had the help of Ash’s brother, Jonathan, which is nice. So, that was good. Has his little mini car. He’s Japan ready. And uh he knows a lot of uh Japanese, so he’s helped us out in the restaurant, which is nice. Off we go. Let’s go uh catch a train. Woo. You guys have a suka card, make sure you get that from the Apple store, add it to your wallet. And uh trains become really easy cuz you can just tap and go. You don’t have to go to the machine and work it out because uh we failed last time doing that, but now it’s just very easy. Works like a credit card. Tap and go. Pretty simple. Now he’s got to work out which train we catch. Ah. some Godzilla. We’re going to catch the sky track now. Have a look around the city. Really nice and clean. Oh yeah. You got to touch it though. All right. All right. We’re in the city now. Hustle and bustle. Bit cold and it’s still raining. Fantastic. Lucky we got umbrellas. All right. Okay. We’re here. Bit wet. Camera’s a bit wet, I can see. Now we’re heading up. Check out Check out this place. Looks really cool. And these steps are steps are pretty cool as well. All right, we got the museum behind me. So, we’re going to go check out some uh history. They got some cool World War II stuff in there. They got some cool samurai stuff. Uh I won’t be able to film that much in there as there’s no kind of video allowed and photography. So, but we’ll go check out that and we’ll also go check out the park behind me, which was a cemetery back in the early days, but now converted into a little park over there, and I remember it’s from the World War II. So, yeah, let’s go check that out and hopefully stay out of this rain. And where has Ash gone? Where’s that guy gone? There’s a bunch of information around the place. Uh, yeah. So if you can’t read that, just uh use Google Translate uh on your phone and it will automatically do it. All the iPhone has uh its own one itself. So you got some options which is quite nice. Technology it’s all changing. Yeah, we’re just going to continue to look around. Uh nobody here. It’s very empty here. Everyone wants to stay out of the rain but uh you know someone has to do it. Someone has to be out here and filming. Take a little pit stop. Yeah, really nice. Really open. Grooving. We are grooving around here. Me and Ash. Also, not to confuse you guys, but both of our names are Ash. So, there you go. That’s Ash and Ash. Are you shooting some film as well, getting some shots, so we’ll see those developed in 6 months. So, hopefully they’re good. And uh if you do shoot film and if you travel, make sure you stay away from the X-ray machines, especially the CT X-ray machines, because they will destroy your film. And make sure you get them hand checked. So, make sure you have your film out and just make sure you confirm with them that you have film. and it’s over like 800 T that you can get it hand checked. Little information there about if you want to shoot film. So yeah, let’s let’s look at the film guy. There he is getting some still shots. Oh yeah. Jeez. I’ll see that one in 6 months here. Oh. So yeah, behind me is the uh cherry blossoms. So these are the trees, but yeah, obviously no blossoms yet. That’ll be out probably in a month and a bit. Fortunately, we will miss those. But I saw them last time. Really nice. Let’s have a look at this sign. It’s like a mega paragraph. Yeah, it’s 900 years ago for this castle. That’s pretty cool. Samurai times. Okay, so behind me is a World War II memorial. Turns out it’s free to go in the castle/temple. Let’s have a look. Okay, so we’re inside the museum. We’re having a look around and seeing all the history and the creation of the museum. It’s pretty old museum. Dates back a long time ago and it’s free to check out as well. So if you want to check out a museum in Shea, come here, have a look around. Really cool. And there’s also different levels to the museum. Fifth floor is an observatory and you got the museum gallery on the fourth. Third, another museum gallery. So, in the museum, we got some cool samurai stuff. Apparently, there’s some swords on display. So, maybe we’ll go find those to check them out. And you can try on some uh samurai armor here. That’d be pretty cool. Oh, verse ash. We have an Ash and Ash who wins in samurai contest. Absolutely fantastic view of Shea. Really cool. Uh with this museum, you’re not actually allowed to take the photos inside the museum itself. Um, there’s a lot of no pictures, so I kind of canned the camera after a little while after realizing that. And once you get to the top, you get a fantastic view of the city. Really cool. And Ash’s taking some photos behind me. He’s snapping away. We’ll see those in uh 6 months when he gets them developed. Not many dark rooms left in Australia. Really nice spot. This is probably the best view in the city. Shame it’s raining. Well, we continue to look around. A very empty park today. No one in the park. Definitely a stay inside day. When the cherry blossoms come out, can imagine there’d be quite a bit around here. It look pretty nice. All right, let’s continue. There you go. Get it in and you’re out. And kabam. So yeah, in Japan, parking’s pretty cheap. 9 bucks. 24-hour parking. It’s pretty cheap. Yeah. Looking at some uh some liquids at the vending machine. I should decide maybe on a coffee. Maybe later. Maybe later. Oh well, she can’t dehydrate around here. We’re going to the main shrine. Shiba. Let’s check out a shrine. [Music] Oh, [Music] okay. We’re here at the shrine in Shea. Looks really cool. Ash is on a mission over there. All right, see you, mate. [Music] Some big fish down there. So, people come here to pray 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. They put little things in the boxes and they pray. The one behind me there, you can actually burn a piece of paper, which is pretty cool. I was reading that before. But yeah, they pray for good fortune and two different bonds. Each of them has their own little different meaning which is cool. And we’re just going around checking it out. Going to probably grab some food next and try and get out of this rain. All right, we had some food now. Just going to look around the shopping area. See what we can find. Maybe we’ll go get something. Who knows? Hopefully get out of this rain. What’s up? I just ran across. He’s shaking his head. He doesn’t want to do it. Oh, check it out. He’s gone. He’s watching. He’s watching. Take your time. He’s coming this way now. All right. Yeah. Look, let’s go across. I just ran a few minutes later. I got to wait 20 minutes for Ash to go the whole way around. But anyway, here’s the park. Let’s go check it out. Ah, went the long way. That’s right across the road. Okay, so we thought this was the park, but it’s actually the shrine, but it’s a really uh big shrine. Pretty cool. Anyway, uh second chance. Let’s uh let’s go to the park. Well, found the park. It’s next to the shrine. All right, so here we are. We just arrived at the Sheepa Park. Going to have a look around. So, this park is in the uh center of the city. Well, pretty close to the uh shopping district. So, we type in all where the shops are in the city. You’ll find this massive park. And uh hopefully when you guys come, it’ll be sunny. Let’s have a look. So, yeah, make sure you’re not doing any of these things, especially playing golf. They shut this path down. No entry. We’ll just go. Hey, swim down up here. Yeah. Let’s go to the choo choos. Going to the choo choos. Yeah. Go for a swim. Found the old pool. Vending machine. Okay, well that was a good walk in the park. Really nice. Really relaxing. And not too sure where we’re going next. Not this way. It doesn’t look like it. I guess we’re going the other way. We’re going to go back back to the park. Okay, so we’re going to head back to the station and yeah, claw a day for that one. So, make sure you guys like and subscribe. Ash is going to check out a cats behind me there. He’s going up to the cats. get a cool cat photo. But anyway, um keep tuned and yeah, we’re going to do some Disney stuff. So, can’t wait. So, see you guys in next video. Catch you.

  1. Hello Ash, I was thinking about you recently. I hope you are doing better since I last saw you. They still talk about your crazy day in Hawaii when you had diarrhea in the swim up bar. You turned that thing into a mud puddle.
