(LIVE) Hokkaido Trip Day 7: Continuing Sapporo w djstix
It’s uh technically the third day of exploring. What? Did it work? Um, no active YouTube live stream was found. Uh, there it is. Okay, perfect. Okay, everything’s ready to go. We’re we’re we’re set. Sorry, it was um like we’re going to use the car, so I had to set the car up for a guest. Just came back from Japan. Would love to go to Sappo in the winter. Haven’t been yet. This is my first time to Hokkaido. I’ve been here for a week now. Um but I’ve never been here obviously since the first time. I never been here for the snow, so I want to do that definitely. All right, just got to let Zev know we’re on the way and we’re good. Let’s get you guys on TTS, too. And I think YouTube live started, but it’s uh it took me like two hours to get ready. Oh, I went actually technically I’ve been getting ready for like four hours cuz I went to the hotring and I had food. Then I like clean out the car. Then I set up all this stuff. I didn’t have a chance to set up the new system. I’m I’m gonna pick them up right now. Ao getting your butt out when I go, bro. I mean, I got to see the winter. It’s It’s uh I love snow. I just don’t want to drive it. That’s all. Uh I’d rather just take a train or plane up here. Okay. All right. That’s old. And this the one I always forget to set up before the stream. Oh, no. Just uh like a new system for the bag that would allow me to use an extra router and do like a bunch of It just should be better, but I need some time. I I I just can’t do it today when I have a guest and I’m exploring. So, probably once I get to the hotel and I get the new battery today and fun snowboarding%. A dude, I haven’t snowboarded in so long. That’d be great. Okay, let’s go. Let’s go get the ZEV. I’ll let him know that we’re leaving. Uh heading over now. Yeah, I called it what 1:30 or so to be at. Yeah, okay, that’s about right. Sappo station. It wasn’t here when I parked. Actually, it was like a an RV or something. I did notice that when I came back from the restroom, though. Okay, this is a walkway, so I think I can’t go through it. Let’s go this way. Yeah, I turned DVR off today. I I’m I don’t know why it turned back on, but I made sure. The thing is I was doing it on any desk while I was eating at the hotring, so it was kind of a pain, but I just wanted to like maximize the efficiency, but still here we are. Uh, we can’t go out that way, can’t we? Oh, no, we can’t. They block it off. We got to go out this way. But yeah, hopefully that’ll be good. Gregles, thanks. Yeah, I really wanted to start like around before like 11:30 or something. I was frantically setting stuff up, but I rewired the bag um and secured everything a bit better. It’s still not perfect, but should be better. Hey, Stoke, what’s up? It should be better now. So, uh yeah, I’m also bringing a second bag with me that has like four different cables and the new um the new cable and new uh hub in case this is just breaking and I want to I say screw it. Let’s set it up on the fly. I’m going to have that bag with me all day so I don’t have to go back to the car if I need to switch a cable out or something. I’ll have backup mics and everything. And I’ve got the mic ready for for Yeah. Prayers. I shook the bag and the camera a bunch and nothing disconnected, but you never know. So, we’ll get there. If we’re doing it live, I mean, I’d rather do it in the hotel tomorrow where I can like sit down and put the stuff out on a table instead of like the back of my car. Um, but you know if if it is what it is. All right. My phone is lagging today. I’ll drop by when I’m back home. Going to Dave and Busters with a friend tonight. Dave and Busters. Hell yeah. I called VR early. Yeah. Again, I want to be on earlier, but here we are. And then 1999 said, “YouTube DVR is good to idea but implement badly.” Pooky said. Basically, the DVR system would be great if it if it defaulted to the the if it always defaulted you to live and then if you wanted to rewind, you can. Unfortunately, it defaults to like rewind. And so it ends up with most the YouTube viewers being so far behind that by the time I respond to them, they’ve left because they really don’t uh think I’m listening. Ruins. Yeah, it ruins. Um yeah, actually uh I was debating on whether to do YouTube today because uh I’ve been doing it almost every day and the frequency is actually losing me views viewers like because if uh if somebody’s subscribed to you for a long time and they don’t watch like x amount of videos, YouTube sometimes boots them from your sub list. So I’m losing subscribers like every day. I’m gaining some as well. So at least it’s moving forward. It’s like it’s like uh two steps forward, one step back. So, it’s not harming the channel, but it’s just annoying. So, I was wondering if I should if I’m putting too much content out there. But, there seems to be people who are enjoying the YouTube side. So, I’m going to keep it going even if it’s a little bit detrimental. Yes. And don’t worry, no music. You got this. Your content are good. People will start to grow. I hope so. Thank you, Cookie. I appreciate that. So, the weather’s going to be kind of crap today, I think. So, we got to deal with that as well. But, you know what, dude? I had a week of solid sunlight. It’s been gorgeous this whole trip. And walking a historic village after I get zebra, we’re going to a historic village. Walking a historic village and hitting a few off shops in the rain is not a problem. City walking at night in the rain will be cool, too. I do like streaming in the rain. There’s something fun about it. When you’re sleeping in your car though and you have wet shoes, not as fun. But but I’ll have to just deal. I need to do laundry sometime in the next couple days, too, probably. Let me uh reconnect it to Uh oh, there we go. Yeah, it’s not uh it’s not giving me the stats for the stream. It was being the chat phone was being weird today. It’s like we don’t know what your Twitch is. Like, well, I’ve been using it every day. Sure. So, I went disconnect reconnect and it’s like, oh, it’s you. Okay, I guess we’re fine then. But it it’s not displaying any of my stats, so I have no idea why that’s happening. Maybe that’s for the best. But yeah, um also the hotring in the morning is it’s nice and all, but it makes me so sleepy. I’m fine now, but when I first got back to that rest area, I was just like, I want to take a nap for 10 hours. I’m going to do, you know what I mean? happens though. So, we’re uh now we’ve entered Sappo City. The rest area is just outside. The area is called Tobetsu, I think. So, we’re going to go through here and um dude, one weird thing at the hotring that I feel I I’ve never get used to. Um I went and used the restroom just before hopping in the bath, right? like then uh are hopping in the showers and stuff. Stopping by to say hi. Hey pizza turtle, what’s up? Yeah, is it a milky white filter kind of hot off? It’s like a more brown or copper looking type and it makes your skin really smooth. It’s It’s pretty nice. Even the shower water is really I don’t know. It’s It’s very clean. Feels great. Like I could just take a shower and I’d be fine, but the hot spring was nice, too. I did switching, which is a practice of going between the cold bath and the hot bath. It sort of refreshes your whole body. It’s really nice. Uh I did that four times. The first time is toughest. I can only go like halfway in and then by the end I’m fully submerged up to my neck in in like ice cold water. It feels so good though. Hope you’re doing well, pizza turtle, too. just uh we’re dry. We’re just going to go pick up a special guest and have a nice day. Have a lot of stuff planned today. Should be great. I’m going to be dead by the end of the day and then I got to wake up and do it all over again. One of these days I’ll take a either Monday or Sunday I’ll take a proper day off and just chill with Zev, reboot. Um, but yeah, the one thing I’ll never get used to with the hot springs, like I was heading into the bath and two women just like walked out. I think one was a worker and the other one was like a massage therapist or something. But it’s just weird cuz you’re like, you know, you’re fully naked walking around and then just typically it’s like really old women so you don’t really think about it. These were young women, so it’s kind of like uh for a second I thought I was in the the girls bath cuz there were no other people around and then just two ladies walk through. I was like, “Woo!” Then luckily I saw like a couple dudes walk by. Okay, okay, it’s uh it’s it’s a men’s bath. That would be extremely embarrassing to be like fully nude and trying to figure out your way out of the out of the women’s bath without being discovered. I’d certainly go to jail. But I mean, also logistically, they gave me the key, and the key wouldn’t have worked in the women’s locker room. So, luckily, I saw a couple naked dudes walk by. Uh, that’s probably, yeah, the only time in my life I’ve been really happy to see like three naked old dudes walk by cuz I was like, “Oh, thank God. I’m I’m in the men’s bath.” It was super shocking, though. The weird one is when you’re sitting in the bath, you know, and you’re just relaxing and then like some lady walks by. I understand they’re like testing the water and making sure it’s clean and and tidying up, but it still feels weird to me. It’s like I’m not embarrassed, but it’s just, you know, it’s just strange cuz the opposite would never happen. I was saying this the other day. If it’s the girls bath and some like random OG son’s walking through, I’m pretty sure they would like beat the crap out of him. Even if he was an employee, they’d be screaming and kicking him out. Yeah. Well, oh well. It’s what it is. said Y. Yes, sure. Um. Oh, that’s nice. Oh, it’s hard taxi. I love to slide. And so far I really like Sapro, but I don’t know what what it is in the I’ve only spent really two days here and I love it. But I really liked Hakodate, too, so I can’t decide. I I didn’t get to see much of Hakodate, but it was uh it was interesting. People in Sapuro are nicer, though. Shoko is saying Hakodate is like the entry point for Hokkaido, so it has a lot of people from the main island. which means it’s not like true local Hokkaido people for the most part. It’s full of uh it’s full of a lot of people visiting. So that’s why I kind of felt like there wasn’t as warm and friendly comparatively, but Sopro has been really nice. The hotring bath um it was uh like this was day two and the lady said, “Do you have any coupons?” And I said, “Oh, I I I had one. I forgot it.” She’s like, “Oh, no. Let me check your app.” I guess. So, I didn’t really spend any time in Kakyushu. I drove through it, but I would imagine so. It’s like um or maybe Fukuoka. Some parts like like Hakata, maybe. I don’t know. When I was looking around, I didn’t see anything super exciting in Kyushu, so I didn’t really make much of an effort to spend time there. I was going to sleep at a rest area. I was going to like as soon as I crossed over, I found this rest area. Beautiful sunset. And unfortunately, um I I there was like two walkable restaurants. So I set the car up and I walked started walking over and one of them was closed earlier than it was supposed to be and then the other ones closed had just closed. So I had no food. That’s when I decided to go to Hakata and sleep in a parking garage and it was nightmare. Absolute nightmare that entire night and the next morning too. There’s a big hill over there. What is that? So, there’s this history village thing that I I was just looking on the map yesterday, and I thought looked kind of neat. Really interesting architecture. Something that’s probably not as easy to go to without a car, so I figured we’d go do that first. Oh, yeah. So, the lady checked the app for coupons and stuff and she was like, “Well, you don’t have any coupons on here, but I’ll get I’ll add the points so you can use it next time.” And yeah, everyone was really nice. I got that same sushi set, but I asked them to like leave the wasabi off and put it on the side. I don’t really like when um when sushi places put wasabi, like a ton of wasabi in each piece. Personally, I feel like it’s overpowering. So then I’d rather just put some on my own in the soy sauce or something and then have and I just I usually order wasabi nuki which is like no wasabi 1999 says everyone just very chill. Everyone’s very chill here. Yeah. I I think Sopro’s people so far have been really nice. Hi Nad. Hey, how you doing? They’ve been really nice. It’s been good. Um, there we go. The info bars. These things aren’t working. I’m not really sure why. I would like to get him back cuz it’s just nice to know. [Music] What’s Oh, up. There we go. I’m trying to refresh the chat. That’s fine. Oh, now it works. Nice. I might have missed some chat. It’s uh Oh, no, I didn’t. Okay, fine. I was resetting some stuff. Saporomi. Yeah, I can’t wait to see this place with snow. I feel like it would look so different. It kind of explains why the roads are pretty wide for Japan. And the sidewalks are wide, too. Sappuro Sato land. [Music] Oh, it looks like a farm place. That’s cool. I do kind of want to see a random farm while I’m here. I saw this place um along my travels next week. That’s a farm restaurant. There’s one of those in Saitama. You go to the farm and there’s they have like pigs and cows and they’re growing lots of veggies and everything you eat at the restaurant is from their farm. It’s super expensive though. But it’s so good. It’s like the they’re they’re um grilling the meat in front of you and adding whatever seasoning and putting it on your plate as they cook it. And uh and the veggies were really good. Everything was amazing. But I I went we went there for Shoko’s birthday one year kind of near Kabaguay. So I don’t know if you guys ever done something like that, but a farm restaurant. Um I just like as fresh as you get, right? It’s so nice. I’m sure that you can find them where they’re pretty cheap, but this one was like the restaurant itself was really fancy and the dishes were really fancy, too. I guess the chef was famous as well or some I don’t famous, but I guess he’s like some decent chef, not just like the farmers cooking it for you or anything. They actually brought in some good talent, so then it was expensive. But I want to find where it’s really cheap. So, cuz like they’re not bringing it in from anywhere, right? It’s just right on the They’re just going outside stabbing a few pigs, cutting up some vegetables. Here we’re all good. Look how open this place is. It’s going to be weird going back to um Tokyo and Saitama and have everything feel so cramped. All right. It’s super windy today. I was going to fly the drone this morning. I really should have flown it yesterday morning. Yesterday morning was sunny and beautiful, but it was kind of crowded in the parking lot, so I hesitated. But it would have been better because look at it now. weather. There’s like a big old storm moving in. I think tomorrow it’s going to be rainy all day, too. Hey, Lars, how’s it going? It’s going to be a little bit tough, but from uh tomorrow night, I get two nights in a nice hotel. Uh I booked the same one that Zev did. So, it’s going to be Oh, shoot. I was supposed to turn there. Uh can I go straight? Oh, yeah. Same time. Sweet. He booked a hotel that’s like right in the center of the nightife place. No, not a love hotel. We have separate rooms, too. Anchuni 1999 said not rain too much. Day seven. It is right. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Yeah. Is it Saturday? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Sho’s going to grooming school. Uh, rain’s fine. It’s um Yeah. No, it just kind of sucks when I’m sleeping in my car. Tonight, I sleep in my car. The next two nights I sleep in this hotel. It’s a good hotel. It has a rooftop hotring. It’s It seems like the rooms are big and nice. Um, and it’s located in a great spot, so I’ll be able to sort of stretch. I never get to stay in a hotel like two nights in a row. Almost never. I think the last time I did it was for my birthday stream when we did Kawaii for two nights and I left my what did I leave my keyboard? Um, and some other stuff. Oh sh Yeah. Yeah. Uh, guest isn’t in here yet. We’re picking them up. No, no, no. We have different rooms. What’s up? Oh, snap. You’re hanging with up there. Yep. I’m about to pick him up. What’s up, Coar? How you doing, man? Tell him hi for me. I mean, I’ll see him in like 15 minutes, so if you’re around, you can say hi yourself. But I will say hi if you’re not here. I could never sleep in my car, dude. It’s actually really cozy. Um, but I do. It’s It’s I love saving money. Also, I can’t afford two weeks of hotels. Do you know how expensive that would be when you include weekends and stuff like that? That’s crazy. Hello. Hey, Yax. How you doing? Yeah, there’s no way. Um, this trip, I could have done this trip with hotels and no cars sleeping, but it would have been like a 5day trip, not a not a 14-day trip. You know what I mean? 19, hello everyone. Star says, “I’m just chilling on a lunch break doing a game jam this weekend.” Oh, gotcha. Okay, so we might miss you. Um, hotel, it depends. So, it can be anywhere between like 100 and 200 bucks a night. Depends where you’re going, what you’re doing. Uh, Hakodate had hotels for like 40. But I also have to pay for parking usually in the city. So, that that tag on another like 10 bucks or something for parking overnight. Yeah. So, if you think about that, if I’m staying in a hotel for 2 weeks, it would be insane. So, being able to sleep in my car, it helps. But I don’t sleep super well. Like obviously last night was the best sleep I’ve gotten. And it was just like couple hours, wake up, have some water, use the restroom. I have to walk over to the building and use the restroom, right? Then come back, sleep a couple more hours. So I I get sleep in like two or three hour blocks maybe twice a day if I’m lucky. No, no, no. The places I sleep are free. So that means my accommodation has been mostly free. I stayed in one hotel so far because it was a hotring, famous hotring that I’ve always wanted to like experience. And so I decided to stay in and I I got this nice Japanese uh western style fusion room with a lot of space. It was super comfortable and it had its own private version of that hotring and that was great. So, the rest areas luckily don’t have any um any fee. You can just chill. So, I stayed at this one, the um the like northern northern European style rest area for two nights and I’m staying there tonight, too. So, that’s three nights at this one rest stop. It has restaurants and 7-Eleven. Good. The restrooms there are super clean and nice, too. And it’s quiet enough. It’s like out in some farms, so we get an occasional motorcycle rolls through at like 3:00 a.m., but it’s not really loud when I’m in the car. How are you doing? Hey, dead guy. I’m feeling a little bit like I got the most rest I’ve had, I think, yesterday, but definitely feeling the burn that usually happens after a week of doing this. Two weeks is always hard. It’s challenging, but it’s fun. Like it’s just like it’s just I’m streaming and then I’m I wake up and I’m filming and I’m you know as soon as I finish the stream I’m doing stuff. Hey guys, was the battery delivered? It’s coming today. So, uh or actually it was delivered today. Uh actually, damn it. I should have picked it up. Um, I I was gonna I can pick it up at night when I go back since I probably won’t be able to set it up today anyways, but it was delivered like I don’t know an hour ago. So, that’s good. Oh. Uh, yes. We go. So, we’ll get that. Uh, but we I swapped cables and I rewired everything and so it took me a lot of time. 1986. Definitely got to allow yourself have off day and just rest a bit. Yeah, I don’t think I’ll have time for a proper off day. Like, so far I’ve only had one day off of stream, I think, and I use that to do a member stream. So, I still had to So, I still use my bag and then I still had to charge everything up and get ready for the next day. I might need one more day at some point to just uh well, we’re going to have like one day off, but I might need another day like a half day or something so I can try to just take a rest. I do feel like it’s been go go go. Generally, wake up, fly a drone, wake up at like 6:00, fly a drone, offload footage. I’m charging all my gear and then planning the day and then get the get the stream ready and stream for anywhere between six and 10 hours and then uh immediately uh set up the car, clean up um plug everything in, take apart the bag. Um try to film in the morning after after before I start the stream. I try to get a few more filming points in if I can. Uh, so it it’s very challenging. When I did the Kushu trip, I added a couple extra days and I took a few days off to film and that made it a lot easier, but I just didn’t have that time this trip because we have a Tokyo game show and stuff coming up. Say in Shiba I stayed uh at Sequence Hotel, Miasha Park. How much per night? H in Masha Park must be pretty expensive. A day off to relax. I don’t know if I get those. I would really like to have a day off where I just the day Monday I’m taking off to spend with Zev, so I’m not going to be just like relaxing. We’ll we’ll have fun, but damn. 325 USD stayed seven nights. But was it 325 a night? That’s A damn dude. I can’t afford that. This trip is already even with the support is a stretch for me cuz I have another trip immediately afterwards. Yeah, that’s a lot of money. Wow, that’s a lot of money. Well, we’ll see. Maybe we’ll try to get one more one one proper rest day, but I just don’t know if there’s time. Be nice when I’m with Shoko. I do that more because we can spend time together. Everyone needs a break every now and again. TBZ said, “Man, sleep for 15 hours and still need more.” Uh, yeah, sounds nice. Star said, “Man, you’re living up to the main ha.” It’s true, dude. No rest for a badass nomad. DBZ said, “I might need another 24 hours sleep to fix it.” Donnie, were you there when um when Oh, no. Maybe you weren’t standing right next to us when Chris asked me. When I first met him, it was the Arted Le, you know, when we all were hanging out that night. We went to church. He was uh the the bar, not an actual church. Uh he was he was just like what makes you nomadic then? And then I explained what I do and he was like oh yeah that’s pretty damn nomadic. So I’m like yeah I do when I do these trips I think this is the essence of nomadic life. Um I don’t do this all the time though. I’m going to ask what’s my name? Luke McQueen. That’s my actual name. Oh, there’s the rain starts. Yeah, I don’t I think um got a fake screen name. No, I mean Nomadic Gajun’s my obviously my channel name, right? wasn’t born with that name to call you by. Ah, that’s fine. Um, people just usually say Luke or Nomad or Nomadic. It’s all good. I use my real name and I don’t mind. I mean, it’s in my theme song, which is at karaoke, so people can technically see my name written out. Yeah, Luke’s fine. Like when I started doing content um on YouTube, I didn’t share my name. Said nomadic sounds better than homo. Well, [Music] we’ll see how things go next year. Maybe I will be a hobo geish. I’ll be out I’ll be out sleeping intense. Yeah. L U K E L Luke. Now, when I started YouTube, I didn’t share my name, but um especially because I was still working at the time, so I didn’t want to like get that out there. People could like look me up and find find me on where I was working and stuff. But then as I was doing I started streaming on Reddit and uh once I left my job, I didn’t really care if uh if I shared my name anymore, so I did. Don’t think Shoko was super happy about it at the time, but I did it. Now it’s fine. I don’t really mind. This is a fancy looking moss burger. Look at this. [Music] Jesus. There we go. All right, we’ve almost got him. We’re crawling to uh Sappo station. I don’t know if it’s the weather or the time of day, but it’s just Oh, it’s Saturday, right? Okay. Yeah, it’s a little more crowded than it was yesterday when we were coming down here. [Music] Check your weight before the trip, then after the trip. See if you lost or gained weight. I should have. Yeah. Yeah. I’m not I definitely don’t eat enough. I I tried to double up what I ate this morning because I I didn’t get dinner last night, so I was I was so hungry. I had some snacks, but it wasn’t enough. So, I tried to eat extra this morning, but I got full. I don’t know if that helps me lose weight, though. I think I’m walking around not it’s the not sleeping that probably prevents me from losing weight. But with uh Zev, I think we’ll be able to find places to eat and stuff. We have dinner booked for tonight. So, in like uh 5 and a half hours, we got a private um lamb barbecue thing. Should be fun. Actually, I’m looking forward to that. It’s really the way to the station. This is different than yesterday, I’m pretty sure. Yeah, I’ll make sure to try to eat more. It’s um that’s always a tough one for me. Like when I’m on stream, you never know what places are okay to go in and stuff. Okay, here we go. I guess my better judgment, I’m having coffee. That was another problem. The last like three days I kind of had like a or yesterday and today I had stomach ache. It’s getting better but wasn’t really feeling super good. So that kind of complicated things as well. But now I’m doing a lot better. I think by tomorrow I’ll be fine. Thankfully I have like five umbrellas in the car. Lawson Family Mart 7-Eleven. There’s not a lot of stuff I can eat at convenience stores, but uh yeah, Seikko Mart has some has a I’m already kind of sick of the rice bowl, though, cuz I’ve eaten it four times already. So, like it’s I think by tomorrow I can eat them again, but I needed a little break. Yeah. Cold brewed tuna. All right, we’re about five minutes. I don’t know if you’re watching, Zev, but we’re almost there. This is weird. Sappo station just kind of creeps up on you. Look at this road, dude. The roads here are just like this. The the neighborhoods are not um mapped out well at all. So they wacky. I mean, look at this thing. 1999 said, “I do like some coffee, but my body don’t go well with coffee, so I normally drink tea.” Yeah, I know this the coffee is going to give me more of a stomach ache. We’re going to Sopro Station to pick up a guest and then we’re going to go to a historic village, hit up a few off shops, go to um this back to the city, walk around, check it out. We got dinner plans. Um, private rooms so we can stream it. And then a nighttime rainy city walk should be awesome. That’s a wacky street, right? Then after that, I’ll go back do one more night in the car. Hey, thank you for the follow. Appreciate it. We’ll go back to the cars or the rest area. Hold on. That was a big yawn. Go back to the rest area. get a couple hours of sleep and go right back to doing all this again. Or we’ll focus on Monday. I’m not sure. We’re going to kind of play it by year for now. [Music] Oh, parking’s cheap here. Look at this, guys. 880 for 24 hours. He like marked the spot. I’m like a homeless guy sleeping in my car. It’s pretty nice setup though. I have a semi-double bed in the back. I’ve got a little table I can put my computer on. I have a hot water heater. So, I I was heating up some water last night and I made some miso soup and wakame soup. And I can I can do tea and coffee like that. I’ve got a a bigger hot water heater that I can cook stuff in too, like boil stuff in if I want to have um packets of stuff. I got rice balls and like um different types of rice dishes I can cook like that. Eliminated. I think we’re both the kind of people that enjoy having our space, you know. says you would like the other woman. But also, um, when you book hotels in Japan, you book by person. So, you can save a little money booking for one, even if it has two beds. So, he probably did that, which makes sense. Um, that’s what I do. It’s so interesting. The room’s the same, but since it’s only one person, it’s cheaper. I guess they figure if it’s two, you’re splitting it so they can charge more. 2024 Toyota Camry. Yeah, this this car the car in front of me is the same car that that I’m driving a Freed Plus. So, you can see like it’s pretty tall and spacious. I can sit in the back. I’ve got my iPad playing Netflix or something. I’ve got my computer so I can do work. shit goes through so she doesn’t look Jesus Christ. No, no, no. You get that. Nah, man. You got to wait your turn. You got Wait, bro. I know it was turning red, but he has he still had an arrow. That was totally uncool. I may have given him the American salute there. Can you DJ in it? If I had a DJ set. Hey, Peace, please. What’s up? You have a much better um fam. Wait, what what time was that? I want to pull that footage from the drive recorder. That might be interesting to throw into the video. People in Hokkaido are a little bit aggressive on the road. Elico said the New York. Oh, no. I gave him proper. I don’t usually do that, but he could have waited for me. He had a light 39 to 41 minutes. Where to get you? Hold on. Where to get you? 1999. 1:38 p.m. All right, I’ll remember that if if I if there’s a chance tonight, I can pull it from my drive recorder. Get this dude like honking and swerving around because he couldn’t wait two seconds. Travel marked. Oh, sweet. Marker honk. I am 7t warning land. Hey 7 ft. What’s up? North side. Uh, which side is that? Oh, here. North Square. Okay. North. North side. Can I turn down here? All right. Looks like we can. So, is Zev here then? Where would he be? [Music] Elico Z. The one opposite the south side. [Music] I want to pull in here, but I don’t think I can. Looks like they’re waiting in line. Oh, they’re waiting in line for parking. I just want to go around. All right. [Music] Hold on one second. Not sure where I can stop. I’ll loop back around. DVZ. just um that’s who we’re picking up, but I don’t know how to get to where he is. Okay. All right. Jesus, people here are so rude, man. You get you get it, too. You just chill. Just chill. People need to chill. Turns green like for two seconds and being like in in Saitama. You do that. You just give like a little run out in traffic set. Like seriously, dude. Yeah, I know. Run out in traffic. Was it necessary to go? Yeah. In Saitama, if someone doesn’t notice the green right away, you do like a just like a really light beep kind of polite like, “Oh, you might not have noticed, but the light has turned green.” in Hokkaido. They’re like, “So, twice in in just two minutes, I was honked at hard.” And I’m not really doing anything wrong. Like, people are just so impatient. I was hoping they were more laidback up here. Hokkaido, amazing sushi and shit drivers. All right. Uh, he sent me where he’s at, so let’s do that. You know, everyone’s been really nice. Just the drivers have been terrible. Give me a second. Okay, I’m heading there now. Two minutes away. There we go. We’re going to stop parking the sidewalk at the line. No, there were those guys were waiting for parking. Yeah, it’s Saturday they should be relaxed. I agree. Like I assume that they’d be way more laidback than Saitama. Saitama’s more laidback on the road. No one’s laying down the horn. If you go through a light when it’s yellow or when if you um don’t move the minute it turns green. It’s like damn, dude. I kind of feel sorry for them that you shouldn’t be that stressed all the time, but it happens sometimes like some cities. Now, I wonder how many F150 like tanks in Hokkaido. I don’t know, man. That that got me surprised cuz everyone I’ve met in person has been really chill, laidback, and super friendly. DVD said, “These people are super busy here.” I guess because I’ve been mostly outside the city. Maybe in the city when you’re in central city areas, maybe everyone’s distressed. It’s like Tokyo’s like that. If you get outside the main center to central Tokyo, people are a lot nicer and more laid-back. So, yeah. Okay. So, he’s like the next light. That would have been better. I see. Probably a bad place to pick someone up for the station, but it’s all good. Yeah. See, someone else beeped at this guy over here. Guys, just chill everybody. You don’t need to be like that beeping. Liberal use of the horns. Said one time, the anonymity in the car gives the option to be rude. Maybe I guess so. There he is. Yo. Uh. Oh, sorry. I guess I should let him in. What’s up? Hey, what’s going on, man? I dropped Yeah, hold on. Uh, there’s a there’s a c counter, like a table in the back. Maybe that’s easiest. Yeah. There we go. I got honked at twice in like Hey, what’s going on, man? Hello. Hello, everybody. I’m 1999. Hello. Hello there. Okay. Can I throw one of these on you? Yeah. Yeah. DVD said, “Nomad the car had a Japanese No page. Yo, Hooka girl. Thank you so much for a tier 2 sub. That’s huge. Very much appreciated. Um, uh, Donniey’s saying hi. Oh, hey Donnie. What’s up? I think he was waiting for you. What’s up? What’s up? Here you go. Sweet. Brand new. Nice. Got to break it in. I got to get a waterproof one for Donnie. Oh, no. No. That’s fine. Technically, we both dropped it in. This is my friend, uh, DJ Sticks. He’s he’s chilling here. Um, he lives in Tokyo, so we’re usually hanging there. Is that you? Yeah. So, we got an echo in the car. So, we have two men in black in the cabin here. That’s right. Dude, the weather’s so nice. Well, it’s starting to rain, but the temperature Yeah. Yeah. The Well, you’re coming up from Tokyo. It’s really hot still, right? Oh, it’s still hot. Yeah. Shoko was jealous because it was 10 degrees cooler here. Yeah. So, yeah. Historic place. Yeah, let’s do it. Set up. All right. Sweet. A real DJ. I don’t know. That’s up to him to say. No. Close enough. It just sounded cool when I was in high school and made and came up with a name. You know, that’s the thing is like a lot of um I’ve met a lot of people whose Twitch handle is just something they use for video games. Yeah. like in high school or something or junior high and it’s just continued over, you know. Okay. So, this is where um Okay. No, seriously, people are just like I I went through a yellow light and some dude was just Whoa. Really? And then uh the light turned green and I was about to go and someone behind me just Yeah. I don’t know. I feel like um the spindle’s record. Yeah. I feel like uh maybe it’s just cuz we’re in the center of town. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Because everyone I’ve met in person has been super nice and friendly. So I don’t want to judge the city based off a few people in Oh, no. No. You It’s in downtown. Haha. Imagine using the same handle since middle school. Um YouTube. I can’t have it read, so you’ll just have to like see it. You’re from USA? Yeah, I’m from USA. West Coast. Northern California though. Yeah. Yeah, San Francisco. It’s good to see you, man. Thanks for coming out. Yeah, dude. I’m always down for a for a Hokkaido trip. We’ve been talking about doing a Hokkaido trip for years. Yeah. Is there funny memory? I I know a funny I have a funny memory with Nomad that makes me laugh. Okay, let’s hear it. The bucket knight. Well, I don’t remember I don’t remember all of that. I don’t remember all of that, but yeah. Um, that was unfortunate. Yeah. Uh, but it was still it was a good night. That was fun. Um, there was also the that night in Kyoto when I fell off the bed. Oh, yeah. We had a rap about you off the bed. No, that was Kyoto was really fun. That was really good. It was also like still when it was kind of chill tourist tourism wise. Yeah, there wasn’t that many people in Kyoto. Uh, I remember sitting by that that famous bridge with like the riverh and there were people out but it wasn’t crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like you could actually have a seat and just chill. Bucket night. There was no bucket. There is no VOD in the VX market. It never happened. So DX is he’s been backing up my VODs on YouTube for for um like 3 years and like very detailed with the locations and the dates and times. It’s really nice. He does not He still doesn’t like that I deleted that VOD before he can for the best. Uh, did I say Siri? Did something I say sounded like Siri? Stop it. It’s been doing that to me lately. That’s how you know your phone’s always listening now. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Friend lives in Is it Daily City? Daily City. Yeah. Yeah. My My buddy lives in Daily City as well. Um I I live a little bit or I was living a little south in like Sanato. Yeah. I don’t know. San Mato sounds like Hey, guys. Yeah. So, um Travel_99 said, “As I said, Bucket Knight didn’t exist in Nomad Law as there is no archival record of it.” There’s no record of it. said, “Have you ever truly had a night out if it doesn’t get a name like that?” Duke_dum, why is it called Daily City? No idea. Elchinolico 2 said Siri was trying to defend DX because they’re both AI. Well, realistically though, what what did happen was um I mean, you know the whole story, but I to celebrate 5,000 follows on Twitch a few years back, I did a 5 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. I tried Well, I did it, but it was uh stream in Shiva and that was a DJ night. It was Yeah. So, I I had made my own homemade umeu and I poured like a tall glass of it cuz I wanted to try it and I’m like, “Oh, we’ll pregame. It’ll be fine.” It was really potent. And as I I felt fine when I left home, but as I’m on the train, I was like, “Do you come to school?” Oh, no. Uh yeah, we did go to Contact Corner probably a few times at night. Uh then we I went tried to go to a restaurant to get some food first and it was closed. So I’m like, “Well, screw it. We’ll go to the Miasha Parks like alley of 999 said allegedly celebrated 5,000 followers with a date night.” And then Zev met up and I was like that I was empty stomach um I was like let’s I’ve always wanted to do a fire bucket of alcohol. Let’s do two of them. Like you have one and I have one. He’s like really I just got here. I was like yes let’s do it. Oh my god. And didn’t even finish the whole thing but I was done. He It was great content. It was fun. Well, it wasn’t It didn’t make me look good, but it was It was good content. I’m sure it was a different time. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That was a No, that was a different era of nomadic said, “Yeah, yabi is right. It was.” So, he rescued me. Took me to a karaoke place. 321 said, “Van gang on the loop. Welcome.” Yeah. That’s right. That’s right. Duke_dbz said, “I understand why no bod Yeah, there’s also a moment where another friend joined us and then he called in for some yakisoba at the karaoke and I punched him in the nuts. I I don’t know why why I did I just gave him a little like a smack and he was like why why did you you can hear Zev laughing in the background. Um, so there’s a lot of reasons why that vaude disappeared. Bang gang is a trademark of Peter and Cameron. Oh, you could but you could say it nice. Nomad was angry. It’s a nomadic version. Yeah, I wasn’t angry. He was on the phone and I I was I just I guess I thought it was funny. I was like, “Order some of this.” Bam. What did I say? I said there was some line. It’s pretty much just that. Yeah. You should get a side of what says you should get a side of nuts and I just smacked something like that. Yeah, it was dumb. It was, you know, I I I look back on that night as a learning experience because I’ve never had a night like that since on stream. So, it was um that was like that year we had quite a few DJ nights and after that I was like, “All right, DVZ, let’s leave that off.” Turned on that night. So, high school. Yeah. I went to a boarding school. So we do we would like you know um have towel wars. Not not naked towel wars but you know like you have a shower you get dressed and you just like smack your friend with a with a towel. We also uh we would do uh playing was like playing card wars. Yeah. So like throw them at each other. Yeah. Yeah. So I would throw them insanely hard but the aim was terrible. So if it hit it hurt like I would tear posters and stuff. What the heck? Yeah. Yeah. No, it was like really hard, but I’d have to like I would throw it and it would go like all over the place. So if it hit it was like when I throw it, people would be flinching, but like also knowing that it probably 90% chance it won’t touch them. Question. No, no, no. It was mixed gender, but they separated us into dorms and stuff and we couldn’t date. It’s almost worse. You Oh, yeah. That’s weird. That’s weird. Yeah. So they’re high school. Yeah. Yeah. Two years of I did that. Um, so it’s like you’re on a daily basis hanging with girls your age at a time when you’re, you know, going through all the hormonal changes, but you’re not allowed to date or do anything. Oh, wait. We got to go this way. Okay. Yeah, I say you can turn right here. Oh, that’s a truck. Imagine a mixed gender hostel in school. I mean, you know, in the end it was fine. Uh, but it just that was it was interesting. Towel whips. Yep. Yep. So, it was a good time. I mean, uh, the boarding school was it’s actually really interesting because we were in the woods and there was nothing to do. Um, like we didn’t have internet, TV, nothing. Oh, yeah. So, I learned to play guitar. I read like 50 books. Nice. Um, picked up some uh, you know, like I I joined the basketball team. All stuff I wouldn’t have done. The the before the the smartphone era. Yeah. Yeah. There was nothing. I mean, when you could actually be a kid and enjoy and like live life. Yeah. I mean, uh, if I had if I hadn’t gone, I probably would have just been playing game like video games all the time with my friends and stuff, but I wouldn’t have done anything like productive. So, being able to come out of that um, you know, having learned a lot and gained some skills. Yeah. And having experiences and I did a lot of extracurricular stuff that helped with getting into university, too. So, it’s all stuff I wouldn’t have done if I had stayed home. I would have been like just games and hanging with friends and biking. Yeah. Yeah. I was in Cali. Z said, “Ze sama, what is a food you are looking to try in Hokkaido?” Oh, everything, dude. Like Hokkaido ramen is like Saporro miso ramen is my favorite style of ramen. Soup curry. Yeah, I got to try. I got to try. We’ll go the place I like to go to is really popular. So, you got to show up at like 11:00 a.m. and grab a ticket. Oh, okay. But it’s like a line thing, so you can like come back. You can like walk around for an hour or two and then come back. Yeah, it’s for soup curry. Soup curry. Oh, yeah. Okay. I want to do that. Yeah. Soup curry Genghaskhan we’re doing tonight. I’m excited about Is it Gingis or Jingus? Jingus. It is. Okay. Jingus. Yeah. I always I’ve never remembered. So I was like, but it’s Genghaskhan in English, right? Genghaskhan. Yeah. Yeah. Genghaskhan. Okay. Genghaskhan in English. Jingaskhan in Japanese. Yeah. Yeah. I had lunch already. I had sushi. It Yeah. It looked like a good spot. I had sushi. There’s a little like they had like a little standing like sushi corner in the station. So Oh, that’s cool. in the station. Oh, that’s nice. This place is really cool, too. So, this is like the old Sappo beer factory. And it’s a mall. No. Oh, interesting. But it still has like the old facade and stuff. Where’s the new factory? The beer factory. I don’t know where the new like the commercial one. I have no idea where it is. Um, actually, it might be near the airport, but the they have the beer museum, which is not this. Oh, okay. Okay, but that’s cool to check out. Also, Duke DBZ said that looks British. There’s just that era there was the red brick warehouses all over Japan. It was a western influence like 1800s, right? Kind of late 1800s. When was the Maji restoration? Like around I think late 1800s. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That makes sense. There you go. Travel_99 says, “Nomad might be good for you to get some food at your next stop.” I I ate before I left. I had at the hotring, I had some sushi and Oh, yakodon. But it was weird. I think just coming out of the hot like the hotring. I started eating yakodon and it made me really hot. I was like sweating. So I Yeah. DVD. Nomad is going to get some conveni to uh Seikko Mart is amazing though. I love this Seikko Mart like 15 minutes from from my place back home. Really? In SOA. Yeah. Like a 15-minute drive or something. It’s you know I don’t know if you know Tokyo Daaku DKO University has it’s right right by that. Oh, interesting. Yeah. So I’ve experienced Seikko Mart before here but a couple years ago too found one in Iberaki near That’s what I was reading is that like I think it originated in Iraqi but for whatever reason they only ever became popular in Hokkaido. That’s interesting. I thought it started here cuz it’s everywhere here. It it’s Yeah, it’s a mainstay in Al-Qaeda. Duke DBZ said new opens more psycho marts all over the world now. Seiko Mart is great. That’s great. The first time I went in there, I saw there was old ladies in the back like prepping the the food. Yeah, it’s all freshly made in there. And so the rice balls are huge and they’re kept in the like the ones I like are the the ones they keep in the hot cabinet, right? There’s a salted mackerel one that’s fantastic. I’ve already had four of them though. I had to take a take a break. They’re good. They’re good. Yeah. But um Yeah. No, no, it’s good. Um is his wife Japanese dude? Not married yet? I’m not married. No, not that I know of. I don’t know. Sometimes some of our friends are suddenly getting married and we don’t know. Uh but I won’t say who [Music] now. Battery’s coming. The battery came today, but I’ll pick it up later. It seems like the stream is holding for now. We’ll see what happens when I move. Yeah, I think it was the cable cuz like when I changed the cable, it was fine after that. It’s always it’s like one of 20 things. And sometimes it’ll work better if I change one thing and then partway through the day it’s it fails again and then it’s okay. So it was actually like the hub or it was something else. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I I packed up a bunch of extra stuff uh to bring with me wherever we go so I don’t have to worry about it today. It’s crazy all like the random like points of failure. Yeah. Sometimes it could be there have been times where I’m uh everything’s working fine but it keeps cutting out. I can declare that I am not getting married anytime soon. You never know, man. I didn’t think I was going to get married. Another random monster here. There’s a lot. I looked up. There’s a lot. The one near me is great. I love it. Yeah. Um Duke DBZ said, “Any hobblings surrounding Saporro?” Like the pub or like the thing the the the thing the actual actual hub. How did we meet? Um, so we met through um, one of my good buddies from work introduced us basically right after I moved to Japan. So like 3 years ago said the thing. So that that friend and I were like best buds in college and then he was uh, and then when Zev came here, Elenol 2 said, “I had another Reddit date Wednesday and that went exactly as well as all the others.” Long. That’s all good, man. Like the I I feel like online dating has a much lower ratio than if you meet someone in person or a friend of a friend, but you just it’s you know, you just keep at it. One one of my buddies described it as like dating is it’s it’s all about the number of at bats. There’s so many ways to take that. I’m just going to leave it at that. No, you got to take you got to take your swing. Okay. I I’ve never done online dating. Well, I did I did a I’m really bad at dating, so I’m not I’m not one to give advice. I did date um I did date uh from Facebook dating when they tried that. I had one date from Facebook dating. Like is that the one where it’s like it picks friends of friends? I don’t know. It was at the bottom of Facebook and I was like pokey shake is the way to check. No. So that’s that was my only experience doing it. didn’t really work out that well. Um, I hate online dating. Yeah. So, my understanding of online dating uh is it’s like uh telemarketing kind of like you’re just you just keep doing it so you find the right person, right? Yeah. I know plenty of friends who got married and Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. have a nice relationship through online dating. So, but it probably wasn’t the first person they met either. So that that’s that’s what I mean. Like it’s not an easy thing. Swipe left. Swipe right. So I never used an app for dating. I’ve been with my wife for longer than I had a smartphone. Isn’t he very naked? Mhm. Yeah. In a sense, I guess. But I think uh I think one of the biggest problems with dating honestly is that everyone’s trying to present the best version of themselves. Yeah. Yeah. And I think that’s what was really good with with uh for me and Shoko anyways is that I felt like from the first time since we were approaching it as language exchange buddies and friends, we weren’t like trying to make ourselves present like date presentable. Just we were both very down to earth and we got along really well on that level. So there was no need to Yeah. You know, have that you know throw it to the wall, see what sticks. Yeah. Yeah. I think my advice though if you’re going to go out dating is just be yourself from day one and because ultimately whoever you end up with is going to you want them to love you for you. So if you’re out there like trying to showcase your best stuff and not really being 100% yourself. I feel like those relationships don’t work because that you start to get irritated with each other over time as as you let your guard down and become more yourself. You know, if you’re yourself from the beginning and someone doesn’t like you, f them. they weren’t for you anyways, but if they if it works out, then that’s a good person for you. It’s really funny that you say that because like in my Japanese class, the last unit we did was about dating and marriage and describe that exact situation where it’s like it was really good at the beginning, then it slowly gets worse. I think a lot of a lot of relationships sour that way. Yeah. Because you need to take you need to take the good with the bad. That’s how that’s when when you can do that. That’s how it works. So, I remember when I when I started telling Shok or dating Shoko, I started telling her like pretty much everything about my life, good and bad, and you know, like I’m What do you think? She was like, “Yeah, that’s all right. It works.” So, it’s uh that building. Sorry. It’s cool, man. There’s a couple of them just popping out of the ground. just popping out of the ground. Yeah, it’s um I mean that’s just my opinion though. I don’t know. I don’t know what it’s like to online date to do the like you know the apps and stuff. So I have no idea. Maybe that’s just doesn’t work anymore. But I that’s my feeling anyways. I like you have to bring bring your you know be yourself. I feel I hear lately a lot of people prefer to do like a lot of people meet in like activities or like at the gym or something is is really that’s good spot that’s how you used to meet people that was the only way to meet people f co-workers friends of friends and activities that was like the only way I mean I guess they had versions of online dating in like newspapers and stuff like classified and then they had Craigslist and stuff but I feel like those were not really the way to go if you want a really solid relationship. Has he dated more Japanese girls uh or uh out outsiders? You mean outsiders? You mean non-Japanese? Well, a little of both. Yeah. Yeah. It’s only four cars. That’s pretty small, actually. And that’s going I think from Hakuate or something. Yeah. So, you’ve been to Aodate then, right? I have. I liked it. I really liked it. You know, I think I haven’t spent enough time there. I was only there for like I don’t know 6 hours, but I loved it. Other than like the the cool view of the city, nothing stood out terribly much, but you didn’t walk around the harbor or anything. I did. Just didn’t seem that exciting. Yeah. Okay. But I need to give it another try. It’s been a while. They have this um they have this like convenience store that’s full of yakitori. They’re cooking yakitori. I saw that. Yeah. And I passed one that was 24 hours. Oh shit. And I’m like, “No, I didn’t. I should have, but I’m going to Hakad on the way back to the ferry, right?” So, I’m thinking to try that place. Hey. Hey, F. What’s up? You guys have met before, I’m sure. Um, Fex has been to Hardly. Yeah. Yeah. At least once or twice. He’s got the massive beard. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, but yeah, a city that has a 24-hour yakitori joint, that’s pretty sick. I could move there. Yeah, that’s Oh, shoot. That’s just uh So, automatically that made Hakodate an even better place for me. I’m like, “Oh, 24 hours.” I don’t think they actually cook it 24 hours, but I love Hokkaido so much. That’s nice. I’m loving it. Absolutely loving Hokkaido. This guy like I was wondering is he hitchhiking? Yeah. I don’t know. Oh, it was a lady. Yeah. I think she was She might have thought you were a taxi or something. Yeah. Or she thought whoever’s I mean it’s a white van. That’s like 90% of cars in Japan. So she I probably looked like So whoever’s picking her up till we got closer. Pick them up. She’s like a 70-year-old lady. Yeah. Just pick her up. That won’t freak her out. be like, “Get in the car. I want to save your life. There’s nowhere to get in.” One of my buddies like, uh, he was saying he has a friend who’s is a foreigner who works out at like Chi-Chibu or something. Yeah. Um, and so, and he doesn’t have a car, so it’s like a 40 45minut walk to to his work. He works at like the distillery out there. People will just like everybody in the town knows him, so people will just pick him up on his way to work. Cool. Yeah. See, that’s how you know you’re a good like a decent enough person because if they all know you and they’re all driving right by you, they don’t they don’t want to talk to you. Yeah. Yeah. So, it must be a good dude. People stopping to pick them up. Oh, yeah. Cuz Uber is so popular, you know, in the US. People just walk up, try to get in your car. Hakodate is where the Shogun army was finally defeated. I heard something like that before. There was that famous samurai, right? Or whatever. Or Lord guy with the eye patch. You see him everywhere? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I’ve seen him in the video games like samurai warriors and those kind of games. It’s not Masamuna, is it? I don’t remember. Probably Dante Masamun. I think Sai Sendi is famous for him. So then there wasn’t one like that in There might have been. I don’t know. Yeah. Oh, my bad. Sai. Yeah, maybe it was Sai. Yeah. And just open your door if you’re sitting outside. Do you have like the Uber sign on your car? Haven’t seen many Choco app here actually. Oh, there’s one there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, it’s like it’s basically a gym, right? Yeah. So, you know, it’s funny because RiseUp is the most expensive gym in Japan, right? It’s like thousands of dollars a month. That’s crazy. Yeah. But but you get your own private room and dietician and person and all that. Oh, okay. Um, and then, uh, so Choco Zap is from the same company. It’s the opposite end. It’s cheap and it’s like everywhere and you don’t need to change when you go. So you could you could be like on a lunch break during work with your suit. You can go in and just like bench press some and then leave. That’s like the point. That’s kind of a neat concept. Interesting. 24. So I’m at uh Anytime Fitness, right? And I like that they don’t make you change your shoes and stuff. There’s places that do. Most Japanese gyms require that you change you you go into a changing room and change to gym shoes. Oh, interesting. Yeah. I I’ve been I’ve been to five gyms before this one. They all required that. Huh. Six if I’m including city gyms. And that or six or seven if I’m including city gyms. They always require you to change. So the ones that are that are like 24/7 or foreign like Anytime Fitness don’t require that. It’s very nice. It’s a weird intersection. We’re not in Hakodate right now. Um, we’re in Sapo, but Hakodate is I’ll be there next Saturday. Next Friday. Oh, yeah. Time’s going quick, man. It’s already been seven days. That’s fine. Really? Really? I didn’t get car races. Yeah. Thank you. This is a weird one, huh? You go that way. Oh. Oh, wait. What was that? Oh, no. You’re right. Okay. I think you can go. I think you can make a right up here. Yeah. Yeah. Peace, please. It’s better to just be like honest straight away. I I agree with that, though. Asian soup curry bees. It’s probably pretty good. So, straight. Yeah. Looks like it. Yeah. It’s kind of odd. Doesn’t look like we can go. Can Oh, we can. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Muron was the cheapest gas I filled up in Japan. I think it was like 156. How much is it here? 177. No. 165. That’s pretty normal. Yeah. Bees. XL Auto. Okay, so we’re kind of getting on track now. This is an interesting area. Mhm. This looks a lot like the area near me. No lights, so you just got to just got to wait for that says, “Hello, gentlemen.” Hello. Ah, they wanted to wear you wanted they wanted you to wear their shoes. That’s Yeah. See, that’s what I’m talking about. Yeah, that’s I never had that situation, but because one of the gyms was on the way in between work and home and I’d bike to work, I didn’t want to carry the shoes back and forth, so I had to rent a locker. So, it was just kind of annoying. Yeah. And also, I found that the Japanese gyms are more expensive for what you get. Like typically I was spending 10,000 yen a month for a gym that’s open like 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. No, that sucks. And then they close one day a week for cleaning and then they close one extra day a month for like training and stuff or whatever. So technically you can’t use it whenever you want. Yeah. And it’s more expensive. The current gym I go to is I think 7,000 a month and it’s 24/7. And I can use any of them in the entire country or I think even when I go back to San Diego if I find an anytime I think I can use Anytime Fitness. Yeah, you can use them. Yeah. My buddy used Anytime Fitness with a US Yeah. Yeah. When he was here account he could be, you know, he was using the ones in Japan. So you’re paying less money and being able to use Anytime anywhere. Yeah. That’s just makes so much more sense, you know? Yeah. That’s so I I think if you’re going to do a gym in Japan, just do one of those. But the concept with Choco, being able to just walk in with like a suit and be like, I want to see a salary man in a suit doing a bench press. Pretty sick. All right, time to go back to work. Actually, one job I had um I was working at this uh but leaving anytime is hard. I was working at this uh real estate research firm, like a database firm. Um, and it was kind of near uh UTC in San Diego, you know. Yeah. Yeah. Anytime is good. So, there was a 24-hour fitness by UTC. I would go during my lunch break, work out, and they actually had showers at our office for people that wanted to use the gym and then shower and go back to your desk. Nice. It was interesting. Yeah. Yeah. That’s cool. It’s a good setup. Anytime’s good. You have it too, right, Forex? Yeah. Yeah. Uh what’s it? Uh Phil was saying that their um apartment has a gym on the first floor or something. Mine does as well. Oh, really? But it’s really small. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, they’re never going to be like the same as going to a gym, but still pretty awesome, though. And I’m still too lazy to use it. I should, bro. I had weights in my room and I was too lazy. I know. It just happens, man. Breakfast said, “Yeah, haven’t been in a wild cold sweat smile.” I had this uh me too. I haven’t been like over a month. I really need to go when I get back. Uh I had this step thing and I tried doing that. Um but it made this weird sound. It was like dete we so sh like what the hell’s going on? I couldn’t I couldn’t use it when she was sleeping. I’ve been lazy or hung over. At least I did my 10k last Sunday. Again, lazy and hung over. It sounds like my adult life. Y that is the good thing about Japan though is like should we should we really quickly pop to the side? Let’s do that. There’s a heart off here, guys. We should check it out real quick. I don’t know if we can get over. Can we turn in here? Oh, we can. Yeah. Nice. All right. So, historic village. We’ll just quickly pop by here since I don’t know if we’re passing by here later and I need to get the stamps. That was cool. And just it looks like it’s a two or three one too. Yeah. So, it’s only hard off, right? Not Book Off. It’s every off except Book Off. Every off except you collect Google, too. Brex said, “But now we’ve got a long weekend. Another holiday coming up, too.” Good times. Curry truck in chat. Rex Master said grin. Hey Bird Baines, what’s up? Is this Oh, it’s not the right plaza. It is. Yeah. Hard off. Oh no. Is there kidnapped three steps? Grin August. I went past there this morning. I did you really? Nice. We’re going to the historic village, but I just want to nap these stamps. We can pop in and check it out real quick. Uh, I think you can go in. Yeah, it’s fine. It says no. But does it? I didn’t see any signs. Did you? Entrance. It said parking. Yeah, but it said uh don’t turn right into it. Yeah. Oh, whatever. I’m cycling north now. Oh, not in the rain. Damn, dude. Good luck. The weather’s been great until today. It’s still nice. It’s just bad. Yeah. Yeah. No, just But it wasn’t raining. Yeah. When you’re sleeping in the car, the rain sucks a little bit. Oh, yeah. Just a bit. It’s It sucks more when I got the dogs cuz you have to find a place to like walk them cover. Yeah. Elico 2 said, “Surprised we didn’t get the black screen that makes the car break.” No, I think I think Zeb was right for the traffic police. August Japan said, “I’m trying to beat the rain.” Sleeping in a tent. Ooh, best of luck, buddy. Yeah, there was some dude sleeping outside in a sleeping bag at the rest area last night. Really? Just outside? Just outside on the sidewalk. That’s crazy. In a sleeping bag with his head out and everything. I’ve done that before, but in a campground. Yeah. No, not in like a parking area, right? Oh. Uh, okay. I’ll get the stamps as we’re rolling in. Oh, can you just get them outside? Yeah, you can get them from the parking lot as long as they’re open. Yeah. So, it’s an interesting concept. It has a pretty wide radius, but if you try to do it when it’s closed, um it’s it’s like uh sorry, it’s not during business hours. They want you to they really want you to go inside. Yeah. Yeah. Honestly. But yeah, I got the speaker volume. Thanks, It does say entrance. Look, that’s all I see. Right. Didn’t break any rules. This guy did the same thing. Everybody does it. Yeah. My supermarket also has a sign that don’t turn right outside, but every single person does it. I think it’s one of those liability things. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. If someone gets in an accident, they can be like, “See, we told you not to do it.” I see that with parking lots sometimes. Hey, Kum. What’s up? Trying to get the stamps. There we go. You just did them all like that. Nice. Uh, I didn’t get any stamps for it. Really? What do you mean? Didn’t work. It didn’t work. Have you been here before? Uh, that’s what I thought, but no. Doesn’t look familiar at all. And it was marked on the map as not been to yet. Well, check again. Refresh the app. Yeah, that’s odd. Or maybe it did count it. I thought it didn’t go up. Oh, maybe it did cuz yesterday we were at What were we at yesterday? Travel, we’re at 288 now. Maybe it did go up. It didn’t seem to go up, but weird because I think we were at 285 yesterday. Hopefully, it worked. Otherwise, I got to come back. Wait a minute. I have been here. Have you see the horses banging? Oh, I just came here. Yeah. Okay. So, I’m good. But you can look around. I mean, I’m not going to buy anything. Damn it. These are I just saw the sign. I didn’t mark it on the map. Okay. Yeah. Does this place look familiar, guys? It did not look familiar from outside. It was night time. I remember these guys. We have been here. [Music] Check for new stock since what? Two days ago. Yeah. No, ain’t happening. I got to use the restroom. Where’d Zeb go? It didn’t look familiar at all. as I was looking at skis and golf clubs. Look at fancy man over here. Yeah, I definitely came here two days ago, but it does not look familiar. There’s a hat that just says kiss mark. That’s hickey in Japanese. It’s dope. Who wears that around? Well, that’s why it’s here probably. Should get it. Kiss Kiss Mark. What the hell, man? I got to use the restaurant. I’ll be back and then I’ll probably be good to go. So, just check around. Yeah, Zev can check for snow gear. I can give you guys the BRB screen for Look at these clocks. Damn, dude. They’re actually pretty cheap. These are pretty cool. Yeah. You don’t see clocks like that in houses anymore. Well, not in Japan anyways. Where’s the Was it here? Probably here. You know, I think I used this Yeah, I used this restroom yesterday or two days ago. Damn it, man. All right, I’ll be back, guys. Yeah, I’m just going to someone’s house who’s got like five stereos. One of them even says hard off on it. Oh, no. That’s the car. That’s the cart. That dude robbed someone’s house. He’s like, “Look, both said long. I just happen to have seven stereos laying around the house, you know, coincidentally. You guys want to buy these bro? That’s That’s not someone offloading like one thing. Bro’s got like a car full of that. Makes sense. He went and got the cart and he came back and he loaded it in. That’s funny. That’s funny, guys. Camel 2020 said, “Walk off. I didn’t realize that they had seen.” Oh, I don’t think they do. I was just joking. Said, “I robbed a radio.” Whoa, whoa, whoa. Did he just like unload? He’s going back for another load. Look at this guy. He’s like, “Wait, there’s more stereos.” They’re all mine. Hold on. If this if bro comes back with like another size dissolve springs in all sense flow. These are pretty good actually. Steam dances softly. Bone sends embrace tireless fades. grateful. It does. Awesome. Hey, buddy. How did you fall out of my bike? Where’s there even a spot for this this giant stick to fall out of my bike? Yeah. How come streaking means to go nude? But a streak is to continue something. I guess continuously being nude is technically a streak. And streaking is the biggest crime in my city anyways. Oh Jesus. That’s way That’s way nice. Wow. [Music] [Music] I’m trying to do the drunken boxing. There you go. Just to take out three guys at least. Drinking is cool, kids. You can fight like a demon. It’s a good lesson for everyone. Beautiful. Oh, wait. There’s more. Hold on. You know the rubber chickens you can squeeze and they’re like 21. Sub says, “I’m just going to head to the gym. We’ll be back in two to three hours, guys.” Sounds good. I’ll say you mean the thing on the left. Intense. All right, guys. So, you know the the rubber chicken. There’s a rubber. I don’t know what to call that, but it’s not not your normal rubber chicken. Let’s just say snapshot DTR21 suble says bikini. Oh, that’s cool. They’re just doing the dog walk and then they decided to like pay respects on their way over. I’m also going to bow. I always try to do that when I come to these places. I’m not going to mess with this. Oh, wait. Hold on. Okay. So, for good luck, right, you got to go one figure eight. One, two, three, out. Let’s try it. Okay. One, two. It’s very cool. Three. And then straight through. Awesome. One second. I like to do those, but not everybody does them. Oh, this guy behind me is doing it. That time will know I’m I’m in the car. [Music] Beep beep. [Music] Whoa, look at that car. Whoa. Did you see that? I don’t know if you can see it. Intent. There’s a K card, too. Tell me LB says, “Oh, so now I’m being screwed.” You buy this and all you can do is move his hands around his nipple hands. Can you imagine? Like you’re a kid and your parents are like, “Surprise. We got you a present. It’s a red-haired monster with nipple hands.” You’re like, “Thanks, Mom. Thanks, Dad. I really appreciate all that you do for me.” Wait, what makes it better? A rat tail. Yeah. Make it creepier. If we can make a mandolins these little like here maybe. Sorry to bother you guys one more time if someone can take a picture. Yeah. Oh, we’re gonna do that. I thought we were going to do like the sweet Oh, I got to get Marshall. What’s Marshall combat? I’m back. Uh oh, it’s raining. Wonderful. It’s not too bad though. Yeah, I got to do the run to the car. Is there a H? Dude, I went through the same process two days ago. I went in here. I went and used the toilet. Then I was looking for carbonated water. Same vending machine. Didn’t have it. Nope. But it looked so different at night. I swear. Till I saw the banging horses. Then I was like, “No, banging horses.” It joged your memory. Chogged. That’s the word. Rain. Okie dos. I guess our next I guess no drone flying at the next place. I was hoping to fly the drone at the place, but uh yeah, probably not. Nope. Oh well, sometimes it’s, you know, it’s like it’s different. The rain vibe is nice and then flying the drone can also be a pain. So, and it takes time. I’ve gotten a lot of good drone shots already at least. Okay. Is this thing waterproof? No. Uh but uh Oh, sorry. Sorry. I was wondering where that was. Four little umbrellas in the drone. Well, Japan has this thing called sideways rain, which makes it pretty much pointless to do that. It’s true. Sadly, okay, we’re getting We’re pretty close, though. So, usually I um I mark it on the Google Maps as like undone and then I I check it off. I didn’t check this one off somehow. So, when I looked I thought it was really a new one. Historical village, here we come. It looks huge. Know if we can see it all today. Mhm. It looked like a really cool spot. Yeah, we got new cables going. Yeah. Just um I like that Google Maps will kind of like, you know, have that little preview little circle thing. Um Oh, this is H. It’s entrance. I’m sure it’s probably fine. But this is DX said, “Did you also get the new charger?” Got the new cable, not the battery. The batteries I have to pick it up today. Is it in like a delivery locker or something? Yeah, it’s just at a Lawson. Yeah. Uh really? Is there no way to go straight up here? Yeah, but Oh, do you want to go that way? Yeah, I want to go that way. Probably just probably could. But this is like the proper parking decci. So, I’ll take that. What happened to the music? There we go. Got the rain vibe, too. I like the rain vibe. Yeah, I do like it with the music. It’s good. It is. South is a pretty good city for rain, too, cuz there’s all the un Did you explore the underground at all? Yeah. Yeah. Under I was under um that main park. There’s there’s that little bird corner that was super awesome. Yeah. But yeah, it’s it was massive. Chat was noticing that uh it the uh you couldn’t even see the end. That’s how long it was. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Didn’t even think about that. In a city with snow, that’s probably a really popular destination. Oh, yeah. Totally makes sense. It goes like three subway stops all the way through. Oh, okay. Yeah. Wow. It goes from like Sappro station all the way to Susino. So you could walk from those stations without taking the train if you want. Without taking the train and all underground so nice. Where are we off to next? Uh historic. There’s a historic village. Baines. How are you feeling today? And how is your dad? 5.88 for a new dryer. Is that pretty cheap actually, right? I think so. We have a washerd dryer unit that was I think like 2,400 bucks or something. But it’s all in one. So you put your clothes in and 3 hours later they come out dry and static free. Yeah. With that my dryer has been acting up lately. It doesn’t dry well anymore. Fever has gone down since road started. Oh, sorry to hear that. Um, have you taken apart like everything you can take apart? I I need to go deeper into it. Yeah, it’s probably there’s something there’s like probably just accumulation of like lint and Yes. crud that’s in the vent. In our dryer, um we have two vents. Yeah. But then if you unscrew this top part, there’s like an inner vent. That’s probably what I need to do. And like stuff gets matted on it and wet and so you just got to like pull it out. You got to be careful cuz these thin little like metal bars and if they bend it can ruin it, too. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, but yeah, I I do that like twice a year or three times a year. So, there’s like the lint screen on the top and then there’s a catch on the bottom that I clean out. Oh, yeah. There’s that, too. But yeah, there’s it’s stuff’s accumulated. You know what we do to prevent that cuz we lost the dryer kind of that way. Um, we uh Shoko found this little like filter thing that you can attach to that like as like a little sticker and it kind of thing and it it um it gets most of the lint before it gets through that. We have dogs, too. So, we want to like prevent the the dog hair ruins it. The guy that came to repair our first one told us that like generally if you have dogs, they won’t guarantee like the 5year because it ruins the dryer quickly. He’s like, “But I won’t tell if you won’t tell.” And he replaced the pump for free, like the heat pump, which is really nice. You didn’t hear that, guys. Fred Flintstone pedaling. The car was so heavy. I can’t imagine how hard you have to push with your legs for that. Like the stone boulders for wheels. Yeah. Um, so we have that and then there’s the little nets you use for like the sink and stuff. We use that in the bottom one and it takes like all that junk and we So Choco’s figured out these little tricks to extend the life of our dryer. Nice. Um, I can send you a link to the stuff that we get or or a photo. It’s qu It’s pretty nice. Yeah. Yeah. So it has like these two arcing arching stickers so that obviously where where it sticks it’s not going to vent. Right. So so it’s not the whole thing but it’s enough to put it on and then it all the so we just take that off and then it’s completely like clean. Nice. Otherwise like it just goes through. Yeah. I got a new iPhone 17 came out. I know B Teryaki was waiting to get that. Um, I I just got my upgrade last year, so I don’t need to do it soon. I try to every two years or so. Upgrade phones? Yeah. I’m currently on my third year with this phone and I think I’m going to hold on to it for an extra year cuz like the battery life is still fine. Yeah. Yeah. And like dude, they’re so expensive now. Well, so that’s the thing is um like over the last 10 years Yeah. every two years the upgrades were so huge. That’s true. Like the camera quality, the speed. Yeah. The um size that it could hold on it and just like all every, you know, like 3G, 4G, 5G, all that kind of stuff. I used to do the thing where I would like sign a 2-year contract and you get a phone for like 200 bucks. Oh, yeah. The flagship phone. Yeah. They would discount it. So, I would just do that every 2 years, but they stopped doing that. In Japan, they outlawed it really. And so, um, said, “I have a 15 Pro, I think. Don’t have any reason to upgrade. It’s still great.” Yeah. Yeah. Um, so they kind of outlawed it a few years back because they’ve called it like an unfair, predatory practice. Interesting. But what’s funny is now they’ve now they do something way worse. Well, they’re all carrier locked, right? Using my iPhone 10s. Yeah, but they can be unlocked pretty easily. But but um they started doing something worse now. What they do is they give you they let you pay the phone off over four years. Yeah. And after 2 years you can upgrade your phone and the la the second two years they’ll they’ll zero it. I see. So if you don’t continue with them, you’ve got to pay off the rest of the phone. Oh, that’s fucked up. Yeah, I think that’s worse. That is worse. So every time like the government steps in to make things better, the company the companies just make it worse. So this last phone, this one I bought outright so I could get out of that system. That’s what I I just buy mine outright. I’m going to do that from now on. I don’t like being tied four years to someone and having that like over my head, you know, because when I went to renew the plan and be like, “All right, fine. Pay off the two years and give me the new phone.” They were charging an extra 50,000 yen for the phone and I was like, “But on on Apple’s website, it’s this much.” They’re like, “Oh, but in this shop is this.” I ran a cell phone shop. I know they’re as an agent, they have to charge more to make a profit over what the the inventory cost. even though they’ll get a discount. And so I understood the concept, but I didn’t want to pay $500, $600 extra. Yeah. To be locked into the van again. So I was like, “No, I’ll just buy it outright. Um it’s going to be better that way.” Yeah. For me, the biggest reason to upgrade the phone is because I stream and film with it for YouTube and Twitch. So I always want like the better camera and the more stability for streaming. But I think this one’s going to be fine for a while. Yeah, this is 16 Pro Max. 1999 said, “My last phone, OnePlus 60, lasted me like 5 years until it got stolen.” Oh, no. Well, no, no amount of taking care of your device uh even if the battery life’s good and the phone’s working well. Just wait. Fine. Um will allow you to avoid um or to come back from a stolen phone. Really? Yeah. Oh, that sucks. Sorry to hear that, buddy. Yeah, RexMaster said, “All phones look the same these days. I hope there will be fun designs in the future with keyboards or other weird stuff.” I think that’s what they have to do. I haven’t signed with a telco phone plan in ages. The last time was a flip phone. I just buy phones outright. Via Grandma said, “I’m on the 12 still and just bought the 17.” Damn, dude. One said Apple stopped supporting software updates for me with the 17. That’s that’s the that’s the big thing is like even Google does the same thing. They’ll stop supporting upgrades after a while and it’s they went from 3 years to five or something though, right? Still five though. Even 8 works just fine. Have to upgrade to get Starlink. Oh yeah. Yeah, I would guess so. Technical knowledge people would do the 17 Pro. So, I feel like it it it always depends on what you’re going to do with your phone because when you’re when you’re filming for YouTube shorts and, you know, and streaming from a phone, you want like a decent camera. I think this is already good enough. Um, it was a huge upgrade because my my last one was a 13. So, going 13 to 16, right? The 13 for streaming or filming wasn’t as as good. So, I’m glad that I I got it. I still use the 13 as a modem in here now. Nice. Cuz the phones are pretty good at cooling their own and stuff. Are you all all iPhone or do you have Android also? Uh this is Android. This is a Pixel 8a. I see. It was like 250 bucks or something. Nice. Yeah. In holiday season in the US. Great chat phone. Yeah. I’ve always done Android. I run this the G Samsung Galaxy. Yeah. I mean, uh, for what what happened for me is when I met Shoko, she had an iPhone 3 or something and then I I got on the same plan as her so that I could save money on the we were talking every day and I was running up a bill in AU. So, I ended up getting an iPhone. That was still when the iPhone 3 was around. Other companies didn’t have as as many options for smartphones yet. Yeah. No, it’s Yeah, I remember that. So, the iPhone was like the thing. Yeah. So, I got the 3S52 cafe 1,999 came 2020 physics travel 999. Yes. Yes. James said, “Those are unicorns in the country I’m from.” Yeah, that’s what I got. Lars, same phone. Mad Mark 8 said, “Hi, Luc.” Hey, what’s going on? Well, um, very well. Yep. We’re in Hokkaido. How can you not be well? Exactly. One Mar 1X said 3S I used to play pays on it. Pang Chuni 1999 said at least on Android can use custom ROM for continuous support for Google and phone make it very hard now of security. Yeah yeah yeah yeah I go back to flip phone. I used to sell those. Yeah. Um yeah. So for me, uh yeah. So when I got the three, I got the iPhone 3, right? And then eventually because um my buddy records music on Garage Band. And so I always thought it’d be cool to have a Mac. Yeah. For like the that that kind of soft like multimedia stuff. So I got just like a cheap iMac at the time. And uh it was like basic specs, but I had so much fun. I recorded some some songs, made a little album and stuff. That’s cool. And then uh I switched jobs and at the new job everything was like Apple. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So then I ended up getting a laptop because it worked really well. I could airdrop stuff to the to like the manager’s computer. You get locked in you get locked in the ecosystem. I was locked in the ecosystem and now I’m now I’m quite locked in. My first phone had Windows Mobile before Android. Windows Mobile time. I never had one but I my everyone that I know who had one like really liked it. Dude, I used to sell Blackberries. I used to have a Blackberry. Really? Yeah. I I was helping this lady with uh getting a new one at the shop and I was like, “Well, how do you like I I had I had to try new phones like every week.” Yeah. So, um Cafe Z. So, I got to have like a different phone every week. Okay. Cool. Um, I would just like move my SIM to it and then I could try like so I can know about them when I’m selling them or like talking to people about trying to get around this guy. Uh, Rex Master said it was an HTC and Windows Mobile had a start button. Hilarious to think back about it. HTC was my first like Android phone. It was like Duke said the first 2011 was express music by Sony. I had a old Sony Walkman phone that had like all the music tracks. It is a slider and it had a nice speaker on it so I could put up that this is pretty smartphone days. I could I could put a song on there and I could just like put it on the you know hanging out and just have some music playing. It was really nice. Um yeah, but this lady that I was helping with a Blackberry said, “Yeah, my first Android was HPC2.” Uhhuh. Uh she was saying that she uses it so much that she actually like got arthritis or something. What? Cuz she was all day she had to do all her work emails on it cuz she was traveling. I got an iPhone from work and I don’t like it. I prefer Android. So she was saying like as much as she appreciates having it because it allows her to travel, it’s ruined her hands for life. Like you have to be using it quite Android 1.6 man. Camelan 2020 said, “I had a BlackBerry 2 cold sweat smile.” I went to a 1999 said, “My first Android phone is Xiaomi OnePlus.” Did I tell you I go to I went to a Blackberry launch party on the rooftop of one of the buildings near Petco Park. That sounds amazing. It was neat. Yeah, just go down. I I represented like our our region, our store like thing. And yeah, they just had it. I They gave us said both of you hydrate a couple. All I have is coffee. I just finished my drink, so I’ll get something at the next place. Thank you. Um, it was they gave us these two drink vouchers, but you could do anything. Said Apple is curious with how they launched their phone. My buddy and I went to the first iPod and redesigned it to resemble the iPhone before the actual first iPhone came out. Fans loved it because the design worked. Yeah. Okay. Hello everyone. Oh, I think I put the place and not the parking. So, I should figure out You mean this is the parking there? No, this is this is for a different thing. Oh, I think right. This is for the museum. Or is it the same? I’m not sure. I think it’s the same. The same. There was uh let me There was a parking that was right by the buildings. I if I remember right. Uh I mean this might be Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It’s a little further down. Right. Right. Right. Right. So this was some this was like a museum and then for the historic village if you follow this road it should get you there. Blackberry messed it up so bad. Haha. Yeah. Camel 2020 said hi Maria. Um Oh yeah. So they gave us the drink vouchers, right? So my buddy was another manager from a different region and he was we were like we went to the bartender and said can we order anything with this? And he’s like yeah. Yeah. So, we’re to imagine people said Apple would never make a phone. What about iPads? Those were crazy when they came out. Nobody thought anyone needed one. Now everyone’s got one. Exactly. Uh so it was some really expensive bourbon or scotch or something. And we’re like, “Okay, is there a way to make it more expensive?” He’s like, “I can give you a triple shot.” Blackberry. So, so we ordered two of like the triple shot. That’s fucking dope. And then someone didn’t want their drinks. So, like we had another drink ticket. We both each got like another drink ticket. So, I had to like sleep in my car until I like in the parking garage twice. It was far too much. Like, it was crazy. Wait, is this it? This I think this is it. This is Yeah, this is the building. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, okay. Sorry. Sorry. Uh taxi driver just took off. Um I think they saw the parking over there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think Yeah, I see it. Okay. Have you come to school? Just buses and taxis. Black needs wiping. I guess so. I hardly use it. Oh, that would have been Wait, I don’t know if you can go there, but go out. That’s That said, it’s um Rex Mister said, “Sounds like a great time rolling on the floor laughing.” It was great cuz like you know what you learn about life that bartender was probably hired for that event. He doesn’t care if you I mean it doesn’t matter to him, right? And so if you just go and ask like they’re making money either way. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It’s not like they’re told, hey, try to get people to be cheap. It’s a launch party. They want people to have a good time. Here we go. Oh, it’s free parking. Nice. So yeah, I forget what we actually drank, but it was it was so strong. It was good, but it probably would have been in downtown right with overlooking Petco Park for a triple shot of that. Super expensive. I think for the three tickets each I think we went through a couple hundred bucks there. But hey, Blackberry was paying so it was fine. Yeah, exactly. I miss that stuff. Like still have a nice t-shirt from the city that almost had the Olympics. Explains why the city is so beautiful. They had Olympics here, right? But I don’t like running it all night. It’s a waste of gas and stuff, you know. Not great for the environment. But it you know sometimes I just run it to I run it to like get sleepy and like make the car comfortable and once I pass out I don’t really notice. The fan does help a lot better than Shinko. Yeah, it’s true. Towards the t-shirt. No, no bikini doll. Okay, no, don’t worry. It won’t No anime girls for that. I already got two fig. I got a snow Miku. That’s Hokkaido Hokkaido Gente. See if I can get a better view for chat. This is the historical village. I don’t really know much about it, but it looked cool from the pictures. It does look really cool. Yeah, there’s a like silk factory somewhere, I think, in Toigi or something. And the outside looks kind of like this, too. Hello Kitty. So, you saw the Hello Kitty Gundam kit, right? Yeah. That’s cool. So, I hunted for it for months, ended up buying on Amazon for about 5,000 yen at the time. Then they stopped carrying it anywhere. And uh one of my mods checked what they’re going for in Japan on eBay, like 250 bucks. That one was 5,000 yen. So, you’re going to resell it? I’m going to try. Hell yeah. Anything to help pay for the trip? That’s a pretty from $30. So, it’s a pretty Even if I can sell it for 150, it’d be great. Yeah, it’s cool. I love like the western kind of Are we in Europe? I know, right? Looks like that. Yeah. It was 5,500 yen, which is at the very least I I could get that back, I think. But I can probably get triple. It’s hard to find them. They don’t make them anymore. Yeah. It’s a cool concept. I’m also usually better about checking chin cam, but it’s like whenever I get out of the car, you know these things. Um, you want to go to the museum? Um, can just I think just this is fine. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, ID it. I’m not going to see anything of yours if I have the camera this way. I’m just using Okay. Okay. It’s thousand, right? Yeah. Thanks. Sweet. This looks awesome. Back back to my lurking. All good. Thanks for your nice comment. Appreciate it. [Music] Oh, well, there we go. No drones on, so I wouldn’t have been able to fly it anyways. No problem. No, I mean, actually makes me feel better. Yeah, if you could fly it and it says no, then I be a little more sad. Okay, there is tea drinking apparently. A lot of stuff. There’s horse riding from three years old and up. Do you want to ride the horse? Kind of. It’s only It’s only like a$180 to ride the horse. The one horse. It’s kind of sad. He’s just standing there. Hold on. Mr. Horse. He’s enjoying it. Look at the Wait, look at this little cable car. Can we take that? Uh, maybe. I see someone in it. Is it a horsedrawn? It’s horsedrawn, dude. Oh, is that what it is? Yeah, cuz look, the photo is the horse. Oh, sick. That is mighty dope. What time? It’s 3. Oh, so there’s one leaving in 10 minutes. Yeah. Please purchase ticket before you get on the train. Do you want to ride it, dude? You want them? Yeah. Down. Buy a ticket in there. Oh. Oh, okay. Okay. next uh uh 300 p.m. uh 10 minutes. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Thank you so much. So, in 13 minutes, no problem. 1 250. Okay. One way. Where does that put us? One way is probably fine. We can walk back. Yeah. Okay. Thank you so much. Yeah. Okay. Can I give you change later? Yeah. All right. Sweet. I got a bunch in the car. All right. Let’s get It’s a horsedrawn trolley. That is so cool. Oh, awesome content. Awesome content. Take me inside. Okay. Oh, okay. We go now. Okay. Sure. Yeah. Let’s go inside. Go now. Yeah. Yeah. I’m going to film a little bit outside and then I’ll go inside. I was going to We can also like check out this building. That’s okay. Want to check out this building? Oh, yeah, sure. Let’s look at that building. I got his name on this. Cool. That is awesome. Guys, we’re gonna I’ve never ridden a horse. Oh, yeah. He’s eating it, right? Oh, he’s peeing. Oh, come on, man. Come on, bro. This is Twitch and YouTube. [Laughter] He’s like, “Here’s what I think about live streamers.” That’s right, dude. [Laughter] Perfect timing. Oh my god. It happens all the time. It’s not even funny anymore. That’s hilarious. Actually, we’re going to ride a horsedrawn carriage. I’ve never done that. Yeah. In my life. So, that’s cool. It was like a $180 a person. That’s pretty damn cheap. They could They could charge like a,000 yen. I still would have done it for a 10-minute ride cuz it’s a horsedrawn carriage. Mhm. They can’t make enough money to afford taking care of the horse with that. Probably not. But I’m sure it’s like subsidized. Yeah. Yeah, probably. What is this? I think Oh, this is just like a rest area, dude. Is it? Yeah, it’s a rest area. Um, vending machines, a research room, which is usually like for school trips. I see. I see. So, it’s all good. I’m just going to film outside. I’ll probably just get on the thing, but it’ll be like a museum or something. No, that’s how they get you, right? You pay for every little thing. Mhm. I’ll get a video of the outside. What’s the horse’s name? We should ask. Rice shower. Twin Turbo. Rice Shower. Gold Ship. This is a really cool looking company. This whole This whole place is neat. I just I always find this stuff just randomly browsing Google Maps. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It’s better than searching for like what to do guides cuz they’re always like the same thing. Yeah. Go check out the clock tower. go to and they’ll be like day trips, but I wanted to find stuff in Sopra that we can do with car. You know, I think a lot of those guides are geared towards train. Mhm. Too. Oh, yeah. You can see the horse prints in the Mhm. in the mud. This is cool. Okay, let’s get inside. All right. I should close it. Hold on. Hi. Can you wrap mine? That’d be all right. Thanks, man. Appreciate it. Yeah. Um, what year was Showa 56? Wait, 1981. Yeah. So, this this thing was made in 1981 cuz I’m Showa 57. I think I’m like six Showa 63 or something. That would make sense. Okay. So, I’m 57. So, I’ll just ask him when he’s in the thing. Can’t hear me. It’s pretty neat. This is cool. Can we sit in the front? Hell yeah, we can. If Zev doesn’t behave though, a little choker for him. I think it goes It’s a door blocker. Yeah, but it doubles as a Zev restrainer if we need it. It could. Just saying. Just saying. There’s two of them. He seems too agreeable on this. There’s two. There’s two of them. Steering wheel is for morale support. It looks 50 years too old for 1981. 1981 was a long time ago, though. Yeah. Wow. Lars, we’re riding a horsedrawn carriage through a historic city. Should be pretty awesome. pre-takeoff photo friends. Can we do My cable’s too short. Ah, there we go. Maybe that’s the best. Yeah. I smile for the camera. Can someone take a photo? Like, damn chat delay. I’ll take a photo. I think it’ll take too long for people to take it. All right. Here we go. Yeah. Hopefully that worked. Oh, this is cool. So, this is like I guess rec recreations of like famous buildings in Hokkaido. That’s the old Sappro station. Oh, that was Sopro Station’s building. Oh, this is neat. Yeah, this is right up my alley. Historic stuff. Hokkaido development commission or whatever. There’s like a Otaru Shimoon building. Like a bunch of cool stuff all across. So, yeah, that’s pretty. in a fishing village. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This place closes like 4:30 though, so we got an hour and a half to see everything. That’s a squirrel. Squirrel. I’ve seen four squirrels. Yeah. Oh, squirrel. Wait, you guys can’t see it now. They’re like everywhere in the US. Yeah. That’s what I was telling chat like like seeing a squirrel in California is not that unusual, but in Japan it is. So, I get excited. Apparently, this is like an old inn. This building like the first one on the right. Oo. Kurum Masa. That’s pretty damn cool. Sake Brewery. Oh, if only were real. I mean, maybe they might might. That’s why that So, this goes all the way to the end here. So, then we can walk back through everything. That’s what I figured. We just do one way and then we can like see everything as we come back and then it’ll be closed. So, it’s perfect. Yeah. This is the kind of stuff that I want to show on on the YouTube video, too, because it’s not like just the station area, you know, where everybody can go. Have a little explanation of all the places, too. I got to make sure to keep that. I know it probably be on the website, but it’s just so easy to have it on there. Yeah. Good English support. That’s great. Yeah. 250 yen each. It’s like I think a$180 or something less one way. It’s a 10-minute ride, but it’s horsedrawn, which is pretty cool. Oh, here comes the horse. Oh, are you old enough to remember Mr. Ed? Mr. Ed. Cool horse. Mr. Ed was an old uh TV show about a talking horse. Apparently, they gave him peanut butter to make him like move his mouth. This is actually pretty smart. Oh, sorry, man. Mini. That’s a pretty decent sized horse. Pretty big horse. Yeah. Done horse riding before as a kid. Yeah. I haven’t I haven’t ridden horses in ages. I worked on a horse farm for a summer when I was like 12. Yeah. Yeah. It was kind of cool. Number Bar. What does that mean? Yeah, they’re bringing the horse out for three bucks. Well, they have um set times, so I think even if even if uh nobody’s riding, they’ll probably still do it to get people to be interested in riding it, right? It’s set like a transit time. So, I think regardless, maybe if nobody rides, they’ll he’ll wait. But I think he Well, I think they have to pick up people from the other side, too. Oh, that’s true. Yeah. So, they’ll have to do it. Well, the guy that took our money is not even the horse wrangler dude. This this guy this guy looks like a Japanese cowboy. So, it makes sense, you know. Cuz I was wondering how is this this young dude doesn’t seem like he knows horses and now they bring out the cowboy. I got to do that one horsepower. How many horsepowers is it? One horsepower. One horsepower. It’s one horsepower. That’s right. or the Seinfeld episode with the what what was the horse eating that was that made him look mysterious ass? It was like chili or something. It was like um it was some Costco chunky soup or something. Yeah. What I know are you talking about the cowboy? You got to be more specific in your posts. The um I had the camera on the horse. You’re like, see if he’s single. I’ll ask. Nay. Once for single, twice for in a relationship. Stomp once. Turn around. He’s looking at me when I said that. Giving you giving you a little bit of side eye. Yeah. Yeah. Look at that sassy horse. Yeah, that’s a sassy horse. Cuz the minute I said that, peeing on camera, looking at me when I say something. You know what? You know what’s up, horse? Is the stream not doing well? Seems like it’s okay. Are you just checking? Oh, squirrel’s back. I want to zoom in. I want to zoom in on the squirrel. He’s eating. He’s getting some nuts. Oh, he’s just taking off. Wait, we lost it. But he’s coming back. Probably back. He’ll be back. He still has his food to catch. I love how that horse just turned and gave me that side eye. Nay once for single. He’s doing it again. He’s listening, man. Yeah. Nay once for single, twice for in a relationship. Three times for it’s complicated. [Laughter] No, this is my uh this is not the Osmo. This is my iPhone. I’m I’m zoomed in trying to see the squirrel. It seems like he’s collecting things and coming back to this tree or vice versa. So that’s Oh, there’s one. There’s one. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Squirrel time. It’s close enough. Oh, it’s glitching though. Damn it. That’s all right. Let me tried. How do you say squirrel in Japanese? It’s risky. But close enough. They’re pretty similar, actually. And now we’re dipping. Hold on. I’m going to restart. Don’t freak out, guys. There we go. Oh no, the re reception tanked, but there’s no reason for it. He said we’re leaving now. Okay. So, off we go. This is awesome. That’s pretty cool. Yeah. I didn’t know horses could pull this much. I guess it makes sense. You’ve seen like the horse buggies and stuff. It seems like the weight’s distributed in a way that makes it not extremely strenuous, right? Yeah, I’m recording it right now. Thanks. That might also be why the reception’s dipping. Osmo might be like, I don’t want this. I don’t want to do both. I could have recorded my phone and then but it seems all right now. It’s fluxing. So, what’s the pink building? The This one is Urakawa Sub Prefectural Government Building. And this was an inn. Oh, it looks cool. Yeah. Yeah. Kurum Masa in. They break out the Clydes. when a full carriage of Americans turns up. Probably we can catch him when we walk back too, which is nice. Love it. And take some photos as well. That lady looks so happy. Yeah. So, you can actually go in this the real building in Otaru. This is like the Otaru. What is it? Newspaper building. Otar Shimlu. Oh wow. The boon is written very different. It’s written backwards. Oh yeah, you’re right. Oops. Oh, tuima. Yeah, there you go. Yeah, but Shaw’s written kind of funky, too. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That’s cool. And each of the sign each of the signs in front says where in Hokkaido that has a map of where to actually see the the original building. Yeah. So, if you guys are just tuning in, they they recreated all of the historic buildings in Hokkaido. Like, not all, but like a lot of historic buildings here. So, in one place, you can kind of see a big piece of history. I didn’t even know it was that awesome. I just thought I saw a couple buildings and said, “Let’s go here.” This is a really cool experience, Cookie. Yeah. [Laughter] Can I be honest? I don’t think the horse is actually pulling all of it. It look There’s a lot of slack in the rope. I think we’re going downhill a little bit. Oh, is that it? Maybe. I mean, I actually hope that they No, no. Well, he’s got a like a a wooden thing attached on the bottom. Oh, okay. Is he helping or something? I mean, what I’m saying is I don’t think the the rope is what’s is the whole thing. That’s Oh, I see. Oh, you’re right. You’re right. There’s some There’s some like wood at the bottom. Gotcha. Okay. Okay. Blah blue. Thanks, buddy. Appreciate you. That’s like an old police box. And there’s like a dude like a police officer. Um there’s a place with like kind of like this in Tokyo um where they have some historic buildings and there’s an old police box looks exactly like that. That’s funny. Yeah, it’s cool. This is like that Black Mirror episode where everyone’s videotaping the lady, the serial killer lady. You know, you ever seen that one? She’s like, “Why are you filming me?” Yamamoto’s barber shop. This is us riding on a horsedrawn carriage. It’s pretty cool. Very neat experience. That was awesome. A horse. Yeah. I hope it’s okay. But yeah, of course I always feel bad, too. But if the horse was going to go, might as well experience it. Yeah. Look at the horse. Don’t look at me. All right. Reception’s not doing super hot. Maybe we’re Yeah, I know it’s But it’s all right cuz we’re out in the middle of nowhere. Mhm. Sorry guys. It is what it is. Is this a fishing pond? Mhm. I stopped the recording, opened the bag, but uh not sure if it’ll help. We got enough footage. I think I’m fine. Tracks are probably from the 1800s interfering with the stream. Yeah. And now I’m getting hungry again. I feel like I’ve been hungry this entire trip. So, we’ll get food somewhere. Back in the 1800s, they the the vending machines were quite sparse. That’s right. There’s a food truck. What are they selling? Oh, no. Is that shaved ice? Uh, yeah. Looks like shaved ice. Damn it. There is a food place here. If it’s open, I want to get something. Yeah, this is one of the few vending machines they had in the old towns in the old days. Ye old Coca-Cola. More salted mackerel. I need a break from that. So good. But I need a break. Happens to you too, Kiwi. Yeah. On trips when Coke get coke in it. The old 90 yen Mizua waters. What’s this thing in the track right here? You step over it. Oh, that’s a stopping line. Oh, it’s a stopping line for the track. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you. I got right there. [Applause] Yeah. The problem with the next bit though is that it’s probably got no reception. So, uh well, we’ll try if it’s bad. It’s I can always come back through. Yeah. You see, he’s got like a whole wooden thing off the back. Yeah. Let me I’ll show it in a second. Let me just uh Come on. I’ve got to cover the bag because of the rain, which is going to make it overheat, but uh a little bit. We’ll try to vent it as much as possible. Which is not much. There we go. I feel a little safer now. Go to the vending machine. Check it out. Oh, they moved the horse to the other side. Mhm. Wait, that was quick. Yeah. How? I I was just like covering my bag. Did he pee again, by the way? No. Oh, he might though. Just a puddle. Looks really strong. He’s like damn straight. Wilbur, I like the cute braid at the top. Mhm. It’s a nice touch. That’s a It’s a classic Inu. Classic Inu braids. Yes, that’s right. People there seem really chill and relaxed. I think so. Unless you’re driving in Sappo station area. Unchain me, Wilbur. You bastard. I’m glad someone gets the reference. Be cool to give him a carrot. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okie dos. Should I walk this way a little bit? Yeah. And then like we’ll see if it it holds. There’s like a few buildings down here. Yeah. Look at it. You’re right. And it gives you the map like exactly what city this building comes from. That’s really cool. This would have been the stable for the horse relay station for this exact thing. Exactly. Yeah. That’s cool. That is neat. This is the kind of stuff I I love history. I love this kind of stuff. The horse looks yummy. I do too, actually. What’s up? Can we go inside? Maybe. Oh, there’s another horse. Is it real? I don’t think it’s real. No, it’s not real. It smells real. Yeah. Right. Well, cuz they have like the They might actually put the horse. Dude, I really look I thought it was real, but you’re right. It’s not. There is a real horse right here, though. Oh, yeah. Oh, Jesus. I know, right? Holy crap. Yeah, I think they actually use this for the horses. Horse. Yeah. Take care, buddy. He’s chilling. Hello. Hi, buddy. Yo, that’s a gorgeous horse. The reception’s bad. I don’t know if you guys can see, but I don’t like cameras. Oh, it was light. Oh, they’re the light. Ah, I didn’t I didn’t know. I didn’t know. I feel really bad. Huh? What happened? He’s back. Oh, hey. Sorry. I didn’t mean to flash you. Oh, yeah. That’s so cute. Oops. Were you guys able to see? It’s holding. It’s really barely holding. Yeah. I went to take a video, but then the flash came on. The horse was like, “No.” I felt so bad cuz I didn’t put it that way, but it was dark, so of course it’s like old farming house or something. Yeah. Oh, we can walk up to here, just not past it. Just like the horses, one of these people is real. You just got to figure out which one. You got to figure out which one. You have 10 seconds to decide. You saw it. Oops. That was just a funny reaction. I was like, what? Why you don’t like cameras? Oh, you don’t like a flash? That I understand that. I’m also light sensitive. Oh, I guess it’s the house that they lived in. And then over there. Stop being a menace. Can’t bring you anywhere. I want to be an 1800’s nuisance streamer. This is cool. Yeah, I’m always a menace. Another squirrel. I love how every squirrel I’ve seen in Hokkaido is just like running at full speed. Oh, yeah. They’re never chilling. They’re just like, “Let’s go.” They got to get all their nuts in before winter. I’m off to get nuts. Yeah. Oh, yeah. They’re getting ready for winter. That’s true. They sometimes find like hundreds of acorns and something. I wish I I find it interesting that acorns are so they’re like toxic for humans, right? Yeah. But but they’re fine for squirrels. I think they have like arsenic or something. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Another one. I hear some kind of chanting. I know. Or is it wind? I don’t think so. Maywak freaking me out. Those mannequins look so real, right? Extra upsized crows. Hoku sikkai silkworm house. Oh yeah. So they that’s what they have also in um I was going to do a video there ages ago, but I saw that John had done one there, so I was like I’ll find somewhere else. But there’s like somewhere not not crazy far from me is like a silkworm house. I think it’s in Toigi 1800’s home stream setup. Mhm. That’s how horse girls and centers are in beautiful horse. Wait, did the I think the thing delayed. H Oh, we can go here. Take off your shoes. Okie do. What’s over here? Love that sound. Oh, these mannequins keep freaking me out. Coming out of nowhere. Yeah, I just walked up. I’m like, “Oh, cool. Is this paper making?” Oh, cuz silk. The silks, right? Yeah. They’re making silk. And they had little worms rocking around. Yeah. FNA, man. You should have known, man. I should have known, but it was closer. I didn’t expect it. Why the leaves, though? Is that to feed the worms? I guess maybe. That cutting technique is terrible. pull it. Got to give the knuckles historical. Yes. But some will complain it’s still not IU. Not enough here. And there’s also the Inu museum, right? Which is like But it’s I’ve never I haven’t been. There’s a Inu town, but it’s kind of far. I really wanted to go this trip. I don’t think I’ll make it. Hey, John Middle. How you doing? We’re struggling a little bit with reception. This is kind of out in the mountains. So, yeah. Yeah, we’re lucky that we could even stream the horse ride, I think. Yeah, we’ll walk back toward I think it was fine in the entrance. No. Yeah, it was fine till we got like I think on the horse thing I was recording so my camera was getting overloaded a bit. That’s like the process of making the silk. This guy’s glasses are awesome. All right. Neat. I just want to know how like someone thought this worm’s got something coming out of its butt. I wonder if we can make clothes out of it, right? Like whatever. 1800 signal. Not so good. Yeah. They’re on that 0.7g. Okay. I think we’ll just go back this way, right? Yeah. Cuz they closed in an hour. So, try to catch a lot of the buildings were towards the front. Yeah. Okay. Now, this is nice. Since it’s an over drone zone, I’m actually really happy it’s raining. Yeah, but actually that does also sometimes complicate the stream reception depending right. Does it affect your reception? I thought it does. Isn’t that true, guys? If it’s like really cloudy and rainy, people always say that. I don’t know if it’s true. Like I don’t think it’s consistently going to tank the stream, but I feel like sometimes it might affect it a little bit. Yeah, rain can affect signal. Okay. Yeah, that’s what everybody always says cuz I’ve also been places when it’s sunny and been fine and then I go back when it’s rainy and then we’ll have random drops. So I thought, oh, maybe it’s true. Ye old blue tarp. It’s a period accurate blue. It’s so cool that they have the English, too. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That’s really nice. I have found a lot of English support in Hokkaido. Mhm. very like good tourism support. Well, we’d have to wait 30 minutes for the next horse, so I think we’ll walk it. Would you say that we’re walking roughly the speed of the horse anyways? Probably. Right. Yeah. About a 10-minute walk back then. The sideways rain. Oh, there it is. Okay. Super sideways rain. Yeah, it’s picking up. I’m really glad I I covered my bag. Wasn’t it the Dutch who helped settle Hokkaido? No idea. Wouldn’t be surprised. Yeah. Sorry. I I use the cheap umbrellas cuz they’re good for stream. But yeah, but there’s that. As long as it doesn’t explode, I’m good. Well, yeah. No guarantees. No guarantees. The children’s plaza. Whoa, whoa, whoa. No, they want kids to ride stilts through the rocks. What? Sick. Call it the Darwin Plaza. Look at this. That’s dope, actually. Komoi Children Plaza. They’re on stilts or what are they? Stilts, right? Yeah. Yeah. I think they’re supposed to go on the logs, but as soon right behind the sign is just like dead ass rocks. have too many children after this play area. You might you might have a few likes that problem, but you can’t choose which kid to put in the woods like Hansel and Gretle. Yeah, there you go. Probably go that way. Darwin Awards for kids. This is the wrong way, right? I think it’s down there. No. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. We can do that, too. I mean, I think there’s stuff here and there, but Oh, here’s our stilts. Are you thinking what I’m If it wasn’t raining, dude, I would try them. Yeah, 100%. Only the strongest will survive. There can be only one. [Applause] Oh man, if I knew this place was this cool, I would have wanted to come like an hour earlier. But it’s all good. Sometimes it’s just like that. Yeah. I mean, also sometimes coming at the end is nice because like uh it’s quiet now. Yeah. When I did the monk’s temple in Fukui, we were the last ones to enter before they they cut off the entrance and there was only like three other people there the entire time. It was amazing. Oh, this is cool. Mhm. [Applause] Blacksmith. The the weather was so much nicer the last week. Black. Yeah, my my camera does not like recording right now. You take a taco yaki out of the the crate. It was like eight or six and then it So yeah, you said fuku, right? [Laughter] Not really. Yeah, I’ll probably do phone record. This spot was bad on the way over with the horse as well. So, I think it’s just a dead zone. Oh, she sweet shot. Classic. Oh, no. No, no, no. [Applause] I thought to check about the signal, but if I had and seen it not being good, I would have come here and that would have been a shame. Okay. The police box with the real dude inside. Is it real? Is it a real dude, though? There’s a real dude in there. Or at least there was. See? Oh, yeah. You’re right. Real dude. Animatronics. Animatronic dude. He moved right when we said that, too. He’s programmed to move when you say things. That’s super cool. Yeah, I really like this kind of stuff. Yeah. Uh we should check out um I wanted to film anyways the Tokyo one. It’s pretty neat. Where is it? Uh it’s like kind of like west. Where was it? It’s west and moving a little bit north. So, it’s kind of out of the main city. It’s not central Tokyo, but you go in and it’s just got different buildings from different eras. And they’ve got a recreation of like a shopping street with like fake products and everything. It’s really neat. Hey Taz, what’s up? Dr. Ko’s clinic. So were these actually moved here? Sometimes they actually they they move the house. Yeah, this one it says two structures were moved from there. Yeah. So yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes they Yeah. It’s donated by the family. Interesting. There’s a place near me that’s uh I did a video on it. It’s like seven um houses from different eras and they were all moved there. Yeah. It’s got like fake food and pots and pans and it’s like a shopping street. The Tokyo one. Sake Brewery. The sake brewery you say? Sake you say? Hey Foxy, what’s up? Sake Brewery. Ah, yes. The Americanized masu for rice. But isn’t that great? Saki say none for you sober expert. Oh, cool. Mhm. That’s cool. This reminds me of the the bathtub from uh Totoro. Toto. Yeah. Yeah. Or that. the giant one. Oh, look at that. This stuff is so cool. Needs an audio tour or guided tour would be awesome. Oh, there’s actually sake in here in these. That’s before they did the straw method, right? Like the um the one you see nowadays. Sounds empty. We should see if we can find this somewhere. Yeah. Uh what is that? Uh Takaranawa. No. I always Okay. So with the little thingy, it’s without the Tamoga. Tam. Yeah, it’s Tamokawa. Is that it? I think so. If it’s treasure, it has the the circulating thing, right? Or the thing on top. Oh, yeah. Thing on top. Country is the circling. That’s right. That’s right. Yeah. If I see it, I know. I can never recreate it. Yes. Have this memory, this imagination deficiency where I can’t picture things. It makes writing kanji very difficult for me, but reading them isn’t as hard. The app I use has some good like pneummonics to like remember. I’ve been using it, but I been off it for like a couple weeks, but it’s really great. I recommended it to some viewers and someone said they love it better. They were doing Duolingo for like a few years and didn’t get as much out of doing two months with that. They could hire Luke to do the English recording audio tour. I would love to do that. This is the sake brewery. Inside you’ll find things that you would never expect to see. Check out this. This is how they made Whoa. That is This is the Otaru newspaper building printing press. want to go inside. Uh, we can maybe check out another one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It’s kind of crowded, huh? Yeah. This stuff. Can you write it? Write what? The kanji. Yeah, I can write kanji, but like it’s hard, man. I have to like look. So, I forget what the thing is. cuz I was I was browsing Reddit one day and someone was talking about how they just they only discovered in their adulthood that they have an imagination. I forget what the condition is called. You can’t picture things. Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I have a And so then people there was a whole discussion about it and they were like, “Okay, so there was a test. If you picture a red apple, what do you see when you close your eyes?” Mhm. And there’s like different stages and mine is pretty bad. Really? Yeah. Like I can’t close my eyes and it’s really hard to picture something. It sucks. Oh, name. Oh, you mean the app? Yeah, the the book the app. What was it? Uh Wanie Connie. Yeah. Yeah, it’s a website, but you It has They have apps, too. Oh, they have apps. Oh, okay. Like third party. Yeah. Oh, okay. Wani Connie. Wani Connie. It’s a restaurant there. Alligator crab. If it’s still open, we should check it out. I would love to eat something. Or you can get a crepe from the truck. Do you know a good uh Zangi place in Otaru? In Otaru? Yeah, that’s where it’s supposed to like be the best. Uh, not specifically, but there’s like a couple of Yoko Cho that probably have All right, cuz I’m I I’m going to try like one or two pieces, but I’m not going to eat more than that. So, I wanted to find like the best I could find. Sure. You know what I mean? Like, yeah. Oh, yeah. That’s it. One econ. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. I’ve been using it, too. It’s actually really great. Even though at the level that I’m doing it, I know all those characters, the pneumonic devices and like learning the different readings is good base, you know, kind of getting me to get back into it and then once I get to a higher level, it’ll be even better. Uh, last order of Oh. Oh, okay. still good. If you wanted to get something. Yeah. Yeah. Let’s try to get something if I can. Uh, there’s Tonjidu. That could work. And that’s probably it. Yeah. Yeah. Don’t jud for me. What is it? Oh, there’s Hokkaido beef curry, too. It’s a lot of food, though. Unless you’re that hungry. What time’s dinner? We um I’m pretty damn hungry. Told you it sounds pretty good, too. Do I want to try? I had Hokkaido white curry the other day. It was really good. Um, yeah, I would get like the smallest size M. Should we wait? What do you guys think we should try? You can share the link, but someone you might need someone to give you permission. I’m not sure. Uh, yeah, that sounds good. Let’s do it. I can’t decide. Tonjiru, should I save space for dinner? Is that what you’re saying? Okay. Curry is pretty heavy. Yeah. [Music] You can go first. I’m deciding still. [Music] I see. So, wow. I can’t order anything then. Do you want to go somewhere else? Yeah, I guess so. Okay. Damn, man. I’m starving. I can cut out and grab something now. Yeah. [Music] All they have is fried food. Not feeling that. You can go grab something now. Yeah, let’s do that. I’m always checking for Melon Bear. Oh, there’s a horse. Hold on. What’s the horse? What’s the horse? Oh, it’s just a horse. I’m I have to look for the horse for uh like the bear, dude. Those are everywhere. I didn’t know they were Hokkaido thing. Hokkaido pins. I thought it said Hokkaido pints. Pints because it was a brown bear. Were you on my stream when I got the bear coin? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I saw that. It’s dope. These guys are cool. Yeah, those are neat. Oko, I should have got the magnet where he’s coming out like I have one of those on my fridge. I would I should have done it. I think he’s coming out of like a corn or something. There were there were so many different ones. Yeah, there’s one where he’s like attacking and I like that one. You didn’t even say bye. No, because they lied. They said last order four, but they didn’t. They stopped all almost all their food. Yeah, it hurt my my hungry stomach’s feelings. She said bye to us and we said bye to her. Mhm. But she initiated. Uh the lady said like we already stopped almost all the food. The only thing you can order is like the fried stuff, the four fried items at the bottom. I was like, “Yeah, no. I’m so hungry. I might have just done it, but I didn’t want to like ruin my I’m excited for dinner tonight. What are you going to do? Exactly. So, I didn’t want to like chance it. Yeah. I was like, “Dude, I’m that hungry.” But n just got to get something easy somewhere else. See, here it says five uh 3:30 is the last for the meals. Yeah. Yeah. But there they said for Okay, we’re good. Sure. Roll. Wait, the medals. I should have just been collecting these at each place. That’s so cool. But you know what? I’m really happy with the bear one. Tell me they got uh They do last. Yeah, I need change anyways. I Oh, yeah. Cuz I’m going to do the same fun, but small change. Oh, wait. Yeah, I do. Uh, yeah. Yeah. Oh my god. All the coins. All of them. Well, you’re getting some of them. We were fine before in this spot. That’s what I’m saying. Like sometimes we’re at like half We’re at like 600 kbps. We were at 5,000 when we walked in this exact location before the rain started. Heavy. All good. Could be overheating, too, cuz I got the rain cover on. [Applause] That was I I love it when I go somewhere expecting ah it’s probably not that exciting. We’ll spend like 20 minutes here and it turns out to be a great place and then I regret not coming earlier. But actually the timing was probably perfect. Yeah, those coins are awesome. But I got the bear coin is plenty for me. What did it say on it? Uh we engraved nomadic gajin bear boin bear boin because boin’s been so you know boen right just means like big movies bouncy movies right so I was driving through my neighborhood and someone had graffitied on this thing with no other graffiti iheart bo nice with like a heart around it or no it was no sorry it was uh just iheart bo and then I I made a emote from it cuz it was so funny or like random. Some someone got out there with a spray paint and had to be like, “I love boing.” That’s dope. Yeah. So, this emote exists. You’ve probably seen in chat. I I created the iHeart Board. Um dope. It was just so random. Like, why? Although, technically there’s a lot of love hotels there. So, maybe there’s some rhyme to the reason. There’s a reason for it. Maybe. What was the fastest? This way. This way. I don’t think it matters. Yeah, this way. Boing. It’s like in English. I like boing. I like boing points. It’s just weird thing to say. some Buen hotels. If you ever look at this this crosswalk thing closely, it looks really weird. This one isn’t even that bad. Sometimes the body looks very like an alien. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don’t know why why they do that. Like sometimes the body is longer and kind of like curvy like in a we like not in a human way. in the ET way. Yeah. Yeah. Like doesn’t make any sense. So that was the Hokkaido history village. The concept being if you guys are coming in later, the concept being they either relocated or rebuilt famous historical buildings in uh from around Hokkaido. Yeah. It’s really So in one spot you can get an idea of what um what these places were like from a silkworm uh building where they made where they like extracted for silk blacksmith sake brewery. We rode sake brewery. We rode a horsedrawn carriage. That was pretty sick. Just that was really neat. Yeah. Uh where do you want to put these umbrellas? Uh I’ll just chuck them in the back once we get in the car. Okay. Chuck them in the cooler or something. You can put it uh like see the cooler the cooler. Oh yeah. Yeah. Just throw it around there. Should be fine. [Applause] It’ll get some of my stuff wet, but whatever. The cooler will tank most of that. Okay. Okay, we made it. Interesting. She realized I should have peed far too lazy. I saw an Instagram video that said, “If you want to make Japanese friends, tell a salary man, die.” There’s a different word for that, but yeah, you can do that, too. I learned the word from the the soap lands in Omia when I was streaming. I was like, “Wait, how do you pronounce this?” I knew I recognized the characters for some reason, but I didn’t know how to pronounce it till then. Either I think Shoko was watching and explained it or someone. Yeah. Oh, thank you for uh appreciate that travel letting people know who’s here. Um, all right. So, like I said before, well, I’m glad we already ticked that off because we know now that that was no good. No bueno. There’s so Oh, that’s a book off plus two. There’s this one. This one. And then we can pull right back into the city. Yeah, sounds good. Does that sound good? Mhm. But we need uh if we spot something to snack on along the way, too, we can do that. Okay, let’s do that. Perfect. Oh, wait. Hold on. We got to think about this. Maybe that’s too far. This one is closer to the city expert said. So I have to say god dice if you where’s um so we’re going supper station’s here. My hotel’s like around here. Okay. So that’s like perfectly on the way. That’s probably better, right? Cuz this is going a little bit like with the timing and stuff maybe. Yeah. I mean we could probably 47. This this it’s not terrible. Do you want to try to swing it or should we just go Oh, I do want to see this. Not not today, but I want to see this because this is like that everywhere in Hokkaido. This dude pointing. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn’t know where it was from. Is it from here? Boys Be Ambitious. Yeah, he’s some I forget. Um this guy right here. Boys Be Ambitious. I forget the story behind him. He’s like some I think he’s like a western explorer or something, but Yeah. Yeah. He doesn’t look like That’s a very famous thing. Yeah. I’ll just mark it for now. Yeah. Um, okay. So, what do you think? Do you think that’s too far or we should try it? I mean, how long is it from here to here? Uh, directions from there to save Nakoima station or whatever. Was it Naka Nakanoima? Yeah, Nakanoshima. Sorry. Yeah, that’s just Yeah, sure. Oh, Jesus. All right. Uh, seems like 10 minutes. Oh, yeah. Oh, that’s fine then. Okay. It seems so a lot of the places I’ve been to here, it seems so far in the map, but actually the wide open roads and and a lot of them are direct. Yeah. Like that. And also the roads are strange here for me. There’s they’re like sometimes they’re w curvy. The blocks are like well the but the sidewalks everywhere is wild. You don’t see that in Tokyo. No. No. Yeah. Yeah. Um what do you say? Not boy. Uh what was the what was the phrase for large ko ku? Sorry. That is funny. Is you knew the word and it’s funny or you’re understanding that I put it together. Yeah. That’s you were laughing like you that was the first time you heard it but it makes sense based on like like no like capital. No, no, no, no, no. It’s like you know like the grape the the purple grape has that. Is it Q? Okay. I got But the new is like the milk crunchy, right? Of course. Yeah, the boobies. Uh I think was it kill? What did I say? Ku. Yeah, there it is. Oh, like the giant Yeah, ginormous and uh milk milk thingies. Okay. Yeah. So, sorry. Sorry. Sorry to be crude, guys. I’m not trying to be here. That’s good. But there’s a you’re a lesson of the day at killing you. Perfect. Gigantic. The opposite being uh I think it’s heu which is like the lack of milk which is really really I mean all character aside it’s it’s amazing you know people had to figure things out big mummy milkers milkers that’s right they had a the people who made all this stuff had a sense of humor I guess um why do I have to keep doing this it should be automatic Give me a second. There we go. Also, we’re good. Um, I should plug this in, too, but I’m just Maybe I might. Uh, it’s it’s kind of a pain. Um I I need to switch. I should switch batteries, but it’s a little early for it. So, it’s all good. No, the the reason I learned the second word is because I I knew that a friend, right? Um, she had two boys and they would tease her and call her like and I was like, “Wait, your kids can just say that to you?” She’s like, “Yeah, it’s all it’s all a joke. It’s all fun.” I was like, “I can’t imagine in America being like saying that to your mom. That’s hilarious.” Being like, “Ah, you don’t have any like I feel like I’d get beat or at least told off pretty much. But humor is different in Asia, I guess. I suppose. Camel 2020 said, “OMG, they they were they were like Chinese, Japanese mix, so it’s probably like a little bit of of like multicultural.” Yeah. Yeah. That’s surprising. Just so random. Oh, Camille, I forgot to talk to the horse. I’m so sorry. meant to ask him afterwards. No, nothing. Uh, it’s okay. We uh we give up. Was it the braid? Braid was kind of turned off. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I got you. You’d be funny is if there was a there’s a guy in the parking booth thing here, right? Yeah. What if they take money when you’re leaving? Like, okay, that’ll be 50 bucks for parking. What is he doing there? Just leave him in the same pool. Sure. That was a That was a umam muso umamus. I didn’t even think about that. It’s like the the boy version of it. It sounds um mus sounds beautiful. Uma sounds terrible. Like just the pronunciation somehow. He immediately gets into town. Can see a mall from that. Yeah. Yeah. camelum 2020 said no medic I was asking about is human I know you were and I’m sorry I didn’t mean to throw you under the bus I saw a moment to to be a little silly on chat turn the camera around I know I 100% I know the timing was just great [Music] yeah this this my experience though from driving is that the roads make absolutely no sense. It’s not like they do in Tokyo necessarily either, but um I don’t think Tokyo Tokyo roads are the worst. Yeah, but it’s it’s it’s not a bad thing. I don’t I’m not I’m I’m not complaining about the roads here. It’s just like they they don’t um they’re wide, which is great. And the sidewalks are awesome, but they just uh came all over the place. But I actually wanted to adopt the horse by dating his human. Oh, okay. All right. So I was I was close. Roads are just randomized. They are. What could be a good snack? I was thinking like a drive-thru Sika or something. Yeah. Might be good. Is that too boring for you? I’m I’m fine. I’m not I’m not really hungry. Yeah, I want to I don’t want to I want to save my Yeah. appetite for tonight, but I need something now. It’s like a gusto here. I don’t need it. Well, I don’t have to. Let me stream it, but yeah, I was thinking just to pick something up as we go. Family Mart up north came right there. Yes, the tide eye was hilarious. That was really great. That was pretty awesome. I was like one nay for single and the horse just gave me this eye. What do you think? Toito. I’m guessing that’s probably Yakito and Yakito tonight. Kitenushi. Okay. Didn’t see that coming. Is this Yukaku? No, I mean I’m just talking. Um, Chinko, I’ll be all right. Yeah, we’ll figure something out. Maybe I’ll just pop into Seikko Mart or something. Yeah, I’ll grab Oh, I grabbed some eggs at St. Mart. I had three boiled eggs the other day and I was like choking on them. Nice. Gets a little dry after like your third egg, but I was, you know, I just needed some food. The supermarket negro was so delicious. Sounds really good. My I couldn’t believe. Usually it’s okay, right, from a supermarket, but it was just like, oh, Hokkaido tuna, something else. The first tuna I had here just it was choro at a tourist place and it just melted away. It was fish is so good out here. So good here in Sea of Japan like coastline area. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Noto was great for it. I’m so sad it’s just not really a place to hang anymore. Yeah. Hopefully one I want to try to get back out there one day and see if there’s stuff that’s opening back up or if it’s just done. I hope they rebuild. But yeah, it depends like if people actually cuz it’s so remote. Yeah, the problem is um yeah, there’s not really trains up there, so it’s all driving. The problem is that the the population was already aging quite a bit. The people who live there. You couple that with a lot of the houses use the heavy roof style, like the really ornate. I’m going to go explore the Sea of Japan site this year. Oh, it’s good. It’s absolutely good. I It’s some of my favorite spots. Yeah. Yeah, I love like basically all of it’s good, man. Like Nigata’s becoming one of my favorite prefectures. I love Toyama. Toyama is awesome. Um Ishikawa, like Kanazawa. Yeah, is a fun city. Okariku area is is like top tier for me. Yeah, there is a drive-thru MS. You want something from there? Could. Yeah. Just as an easy snack. Mhm. Is that all right? Yeah. Yeah, works for me. Can I get through here? Yeah. Yeah. Patrick said, “What’s up, gang?” Hey, Patrick. What’s up, man? What’s up? Patrick’s been having like uh Hokkaido MVP cuz he was up here. I think maybe I should have planned more days for that region. Yes, do it. That Hokuriku is amazing. Yeah, it’s easy. You can go from like one prefecture because they have the the Shinkansen now. It’s really easy to go from one city to another. Yeah. They didn’t used to have it to go to Fukui, but they stopped in. Yeah. We’re just going to grab a quick snack, guys. Uh, mine will either be a lettuce burger or just like a hot some. Some Sometimes they have them, sometimes they don’t. Or just got a hot dog and eat without the bun. Push easy mode. Yeah. I’m going to look at the menu while they’re Yeah, with a car is much better. Merber said, “I love it.” Looks like they got the lettuce burgers. I’ll do that. Or rice. Oh, no. No. Rice burgers are fried. I think that works for me. Yeah. Yeah. Know the um I didn’t do it the last year because of the earthquake that happened up there, but I typically every year is Noto then Fukui. My friend lives in Fukui, so we’ll go stay with him for a couple days. He’s happy to have our dogs running around. Our dogs are fine. Kobe hates his parrot, but he got used to him. Parrot? Yeah, he’s got a parrot. Parrots. This parrot’s so funny. Like we’ll just be chalking in the living room and the parrot will just chuckle. exactly like his wife. They’ll make a joke and the parrot will go. I think mocking me actually, but okay. [Music] This do you know what you want? Spicy hot dog. Uh which Oh, spicy chili dog. Uh oh. No, just regular one. Hot tin. Did you hear it? Should I just keep going? Uh, either Scott I don’t know. Lettuce. Sorry about lettuce. I feel like she’s not hearing me. Sorry. Let us notech. travel_9 maybe get her to repeat back the order. She was, but then you talked over there. Hi. Hi. She was just repeating it and everybody started talking at once. This always goddamn happens to me. Dead silent, so I left it. I would have turned it down normally. Dead silent, so I left it. Suddenly, bam. It’s hilarious. It’s the story of my life. I like that the one that interrupted was get her to repeat during the repeating cuz the chat delay. It’s not your fault, but the chat delay. Oh, it’s not that much. I don’t think it’s like 400. No, we’ll see. I have no idea what a hot dog costs here. No, you guys are fine. It’s not your fault. H I should have turned it down ultimately, but it was quiet, so I just thought, “Oh, we’ll we’ll we’ll squeak by,” you know, and then bam. I might I don’t know if the order is right, but we’ll see. I hope. I think it sounded right. Sounded right. That was kind of weird, though. I was like, did I jump with this guy? Nothing. Then see Must was the the trigger word. Sh. I think it probably was a really uh crappy speaker mic setup. Sounded like it. Yeah. Mana controls volume. Upset that volume wasn’t turned down. More at six. Two heads of lettuce and nothing else. Probably. That’s fine. I’m all right with that. And then I’ll find somewhere to just like quickly pull over and smash it. It won’t take long. Mhm. Travel. Yeah. Sometime I ordered it and they screwed it up pretty bad. I can’t remember. It was on stream, right? They I think they um headed could be Not I got to remember that. Natsumi style. Natsumi style is when they replace the bun with lettuce. It’s quite good because it’s like really fresh lettuce and it’s cold and it’s crisp. I couldn’t understand much. I just understood lettuce. It says on the thing like buns. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It says like buns. Noiasimo. So I tried to repeat it like that so that she could understand cuz I was I was like reading it out from the thing and she was like, “Oh, you mean Natsumi style?” It’s like uh if you ever worked in a like a chain restaurant, then people start to like do a custom order that’s already a normal burger like thing on your on the menu. For people who work there, it’s kind of annoying because just order that. But for you know your average Joe, not everybody knows that, right? Yeah. Like not to me. I didn’t know. I I had learned that before but forgot. [Laughter] Yeah. I think they just gave me a hamburger when I did that. I asked for the the lettuce. You asked for the mcang bang. Is that what No, no, no. I didn’t ask for a mcang bang. It’s a troubling times. Life was tough. They were paying me for it, you know. It’s hilarious. 1999 you what you who said asking the question that’s right ask the important questions got to 7 am I said that only when you have a MC Donald’s gold card coex ask for the point Duke DBZ How do you use the glory whole death nomad? No. No. I I noticed Dev’s not answering, but No. No. No. It’s order by number like ordering Asian takeaway. Yeah, that would be nice, wouldn’t it? [Music] All right. Quick pay on. Let it reach. Travel_99 says, “Need the touchscreen drive through order system.” DBZ says question. I answered. Um 100. There was some hesitation there though. There was I wanted you to answer first. What if I said yes? Would you say yes to? So one time when I was paying with Quick Pay, I accidentally said QuickPie and it was really embarrassing. So there’s a quick a question. So it’s if you’ve seen the Quick Pay logo, it’s so similar but more Aashi version of visited. Fox 27 Amarite says, “Let a man remember a good time.” Tanuki, I don’t know. It’ll either be today or tomorrow or something. Yeah, Tanuki will happen though. I want to go. Oh, yeah. It’s nice. I just needed a snack and then we can go to the We’ll hit up like two Hard Offs, park in the city, and go hit up dinner. It always throws them off when like I ask for no sauce. They’re just like they they’re like, “But that’s how it’s flavored. I get it.” But I’m like, “No. Like I mentioned before though, like I’ve I’ve found a better balance. Like I’ll have ketchup and stuff. I just don’t want mayonnaise. Mhm. But I don’t want to sit there and be like, “Can you give me this type of sauce and not this?” I just like I’m fine without any sauce. It’s all good. That’s where the She said something like, “If you don’t have the sauce, you’re not going to have I think you don’t get the I’ve ordered it before like that. It’s fine.” But I think they mix it with the sauce already. Will you eventually travel to east this trip? Not super far. You’re going north, right? To Yeah, I’m going north. Uh, yeah. Asaiwa. You going to drive through? Yeah, I’m going to go there, too. And there’s a um Amarai said mustard is good, tasty, and not a lot of calories. There’s a cool spot that Paul recommended I want to check out if there’s time. The problem with East is there’s just no reception. It’s very very sparse. So when I do it, I want to set it up. I will come back here. I want to set it up in a way where I travel offstream. Yeah. And I just do the like towns and places. Yeah. I’ve gone east once to uh Obi-H. Oh, that sounds like a good place. Yeah, it’s kind of a cool little city. Uh, you know what? DBZ said I might just say get a Starink for the east travel. I can’t afford that. Everyone keeps saying just get startling. One big head of lettuce. I’m going to go this way and then there’s like a lot of plazas over there. Should be able to hit a light. I can park somewhere or you could park in here. Should have just driven on the sidewalk. There’s no cars. It’s all right, though. I’m at that I’m at the super hungry stage. I just need something in my stomach. DBZ says borrow it from Conor Nomad. Don’t have that kind of relationship with Conor here. Says, “How much is Starling?” $500 per month. It doesn’t matter how much it’s too much. Starings work only up to 30 to 40 km hour. There’s different types and I’ve heard different everyone’s like saying different stuff about it so I’d have to do the research. Yeah, probably that’s a good idea. Not in that one though. Uh are they both Deuchi? Yeah. Here. Autobacks. Fine. And then we can creep to the light to get around probably uh from the parking lot, I think. Uh here. Yeah. 1999 says, “Sarings need to see the sky to work.” See? Yeah. People say that, too. They have a slow and a fast one. I’ve seen a guy put one on his airplane and use it. His friends flying next to him were able to jump on his Wi-Fi, too. Yeah. Well, the fast ones are too expensive. So, let’s get fed on this trip. We’re going to have dinner tonight. I’m hoping I don’t have too much reception problems with my cell phone. [Applause] We’re just going to have a quick snack, friends. Yo, she wasn’t hungry until I saw the mini. Okay, the nemesis is an umbrella. Duke_db. Is it the correct order? Yep, it’s the correct order with a reverse vampire. I think the best way to do it is just to set it where like one day offline I travel to a city, I film it. Mhm. And then I stream around there the next day. Did you get lunch? This is our This is like our lunch snack cuz we have he booked um uh a private room for lamb barbecue tonight. I was surprised that the I’ll bring you guys and still have signal for a restaurant there. Travel_99 said new version of Starink exceeds up to 550 mph or 885 kmh. So I have so many people coming in being like well Chris can do it, Connor can do it. They have money and lots of equipment. So this is this is where over time it’ll get cheaper. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They have the money and they will make the money on that trip. So like I I’m neither DVD said dinner with Jesus tonight. That’s right. Intense_7 says so just get more money. Jesus not hard capper. Yeah. Just just just Yeah, it’s not that hard. Bane said, “Yeah, chat. We have a string and two paper cups.” You got the string secondhand on hard off, too. I did. So I will plan a budget way to do it. intent_7 said I don’t want to hear about money problems from a guy with bow because his kidneys said just do mobile game sponsorships like dancei199 says but people forget on Welsh trip call is cameraman and starink man travel_99 said how much is the cost of the data sim per month exclude your personal mobile cost 1223 says still waiting to be able to grow money trees Mhm. I don’t want to talk about my monthly cost. Reconsider the pic franchise. The surprising one to me, which has been a surprising one for me, which has been a little bit perplexing is in general in Hokkaido, I have I’ve had less viewers and stuff than I usually have in Saitama, which is like I thought more people would be excited to be on these streams. your bed set only soon. So now I’m starting to think I’m just streaming too much and maybe that’s the problem. You can grow rare plants. Yeah, maybe I should have only been streaming like three times a week like normal. But I really want to show people everything so I want to like keep streaming it, you know, but people people get sick of it. I don’t know. So definitely it’s different. So, I was thinking about that like generally at this time if we’re just cruising around, you know, Omia or something. Okay. Hype that says, “I don’t understand the streaming meta.” I remember talking to you know, you remember Retro Guys? Mhm. So, he came out to Hokkaido. Same thing. Mhm. He was so excited. He’s like, “I’m going to show my chat like Hokkaido.” and he had immensely less like viewership and chat than he normally would if he was just sitting home playing a video game. Yeah, he was like, I don’t want to go out anymore. I don’t blame him in that case. I I I still want to do this kind of stuff. I I enjoy this and I want to travel anyways, so it’s fine. You can drive yourself crazy trying to figure all that stuff out long. N So, I don’t worry about it too much, honestly. Friday night, everyone is nomad actually. Um FK Whit 81 says, “Just tobacco is not a rare plant.” XDX, I don’t know what you’re talking about. Um, actually, I just consider that I’m really excited to be here and have fun and explore. So, if you’re only thinking about that turns a man into a hickey. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. If you’re only thinking about like numbers and things, then you’re going to have a bad time. You should be out. You should be out enjoying yourself. So, that I’m just can’t watch earlier part of the day. Of course, I understand that, too. Yeah. I want to do a sunrise stream. I’m going to try to do a sunrise stream. It’s just I don’t know when I can do it. It’s really hard. But maybe I should just take one day off next week and then the next day do like a sunrise and coffee stream. Why is my etc card ejected? Ooh, that would have been embarrassing on the highway. It yells at you. It does. All right, that hit the spot. I just needed a little something. I’m still really hungry, but I can um Sorry, I can hold out to do it on a day if not cloudy. Juke DBZ said, “Don’t sleep till sunrise.” Can we go out that way and hit the light? A1W1 in Japan said, “You may get people watching after the fact.” I’m not complaining, guys. I just remember talking Oh, here. Okay. Yeah. I just remember talking to him about that and then being like, “Oh, okay.” So, I found it interesting and then I’m experiencing it myself. So, are we having the long awaited ramen tonight? He said, “There was mentioned earlier about the Shikansson. Is there a different path that’s suited to take it?” As 1223 said, “Yay, do either a half day or day off before doing a sunrise stream.” Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. If I So, I’ll I’ll look at the schedule and see if there’s a way I can do it. I’d really love to do a sunrise in Hokkaido, but it’d be nicer if it was a clearer day, too. Yeah. I think the storm is only going for like two days and then it gets clear again or something. Yeah. So, I’m not too bad. I think it’s clear tomorrow. Says, “I just bought Shinkansen tickets at the train station directly.” Techman. Uh, yeah. I usually just buy them at the station, too. I like the physical tickets. Yeah. Something fun about that. I know you can do them all online and have your phone have it all, but I like holding the ticket. Yeah, I guess that means you can also lose the ticket, but I load them on my swe, but it’s you have to use like a Japanese app. You can do them all like through your phone and stuff now. I’ve done it before. Yeah, but just like Sam booked the ones for our trip and then he just sent me the QR code like it’s getting a ton of wet weather this week. Yeah. Well, Japan’s like late summer around now is just always wet. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Or summer in general is just it just rains a lot in Japan in general. Coming from San Diego, it’s a weird concept to have rain more than like 10 days a year. Yeah, right. App is iPhone only. Oh, yeah. Unless you have an Android in Japan, then you can get it. That’s right. Moon said, “Sonset is also nice. Also highlight.” Hey. Hey. Said go to the train there. Well, we’ve actually done um said, “Sounds like it’s possible again to dive at Shinjuku Station.” Do you see that video when it was crazy rain? Yeah, that was nuts. Well, dude, that was like centered on my apartment. Rain in summer before climate change. Really? So, 1999 said, “Physical tickets is good for Instagram photo, too.” It rained like 120 mm within like an hour and a half to two hours. Yeah. And my building must have gotten struck by lightning like three or four times. Really? It was crazy. Yeah. Yeah. There was a there was like an old radio tower on a house in my neighborhood. Um and it got hit by lightning and knocked over the power lines. Oh shit. So we were out of power for a few hours. Hello. Hey. Yeah, it was kind of nuts. Then I think the city got m like mad at the guy for leaving it up. He wasn’t even using it anymore. He just didn’t want to pay to take it down. It was like an old must have been like doing like radio like CB radio like antenna or something to me and the dude doesn’t do it anymore but he just like you know I just left it up. It was kind of an eyesore really. But after that you know after that he had to get rid of it. Yeah. Just like jagged metal half a tower sitting there. I think the city was just like nope you need to remove that now. You made us fix poles and things. Yeah. Yeah. Um, Juke_DVZ hard off time. It is. We’re going to hit a couple before we’re going back. We’re going to get uh Jingiscon today. It’s a lamb barbecue. This was recommended by a friend or a co-orker. Yeah, a friend of mine. So, he’s from Hokkaido. Oh, yeah. A local recommendation. Hell yeah. That happened in Sai. There’s um we were out uh I feel like I should wait. Yeah, just in case. Yeah, you’re good though. I know. I wouldn’t be in his way, but you know how it is, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You meant to give them like full clearance. Boxy7 amarai said that sounds amazing. Yeah. So, Hokkaido friend, but not I knew. No, Japanese. Not one that I knew. Sorry, stupid. But so in my part of Canada, 100 mm of rain in the same day basically never happens. Yeah, it never happens in California either. I it something like that actually did happen in NorCal like a couple years ago and the flooding lasted like weeks cuz they just don’t have the infrastructure to to get rid of all that water. Yeah. San Diego when it actually gets crazy rainstorms there’s whole areas that are flooded just like Bak said hello friends. Hey B Teryaki what’s up buddy DX said thankfully today’s Kamchako earthquake didn’t trigger any tsunami. I mean, we’re pretty far from the ocean, I think. Far enough. Was there another earthquake there today? Every day. Cuz I was in Hokkaido when the last one hit and we had all the tsunami warnings. So, there’s Godzilla holding a shake weight saying yasu. What is that? Is it a Is it a It’s a bookstore and a video store. Is it a timer? It looks like a shake or like a double. You know what it probably is? It’s probably a VHS tape. Oh, it is. It did happen. Holy. Yeah, but it looks like a shake. I like to think it’s a shake. I’ll go with it. Both are actually awesome. Can’t see. You wouldn’t be able to see it. Between there’s a there’s something in my car right here that would block your view. So I otherwise I would have showed you guys. Sorry. Um yeah, there was a seven magnitude 7.5 in Kamchatka today. Yeah. Damn. All right. No sleeping by the ocean for me tonight. I thought I was sleeping in the woods. I’m lucky of dust said, “Well, the volcanic zone.” I guess Japan is situated hot spots for quakes. Yeah. I am 7 task 23. There are pictures from last year. The stairs downstairs are filled to the brim. So, the difference really is like sometimes a place is famous for something, but that’s not even really what it’s good. Okay. So, Sai, everyone says it’s good for beef tongue. Beef tongue. Yeah. So, Shok and I were out at this like standing bar and we were talking to this guy who was also from Saitama. He had got stationed in Sai for 5 years and was getting brought back to Saitama like the next week. It’s quite sad about it really. But cuz he really likes Sai. I love Sai. And we were talking about we’re looking for a good gu place, a good beef tongue place. and he said, “Ah, that’s what all the tourists eat. Locals don’t actually really go out of their way to eat that.” Yeah. He said, “There’s a really nice yakiniku place that you will be much better off going to.” I hope there’s no crazy weather when I visit in mid-occtober. Oh, um, typhoons maybe. Yeah, maybe. But tail end. Depends. Every year is different, I guess. But yeah, so then we went to that place and mind-blowing. Some of the best yakiniku I’ve ever had. And if we had gone to some Guangong steak restaurant over that, it would have been really a shame. Like lucha libre right here. Yeah. Who is this guy? Look at this guy coming up yet. It’s like a car dealers. Yeah, he’s selling cars. He’s got K on his forehead, which like Oh, they’re selling Kosha. Light cars then. That’s funny. He’s the luchador of of of light vehicles in Japan. He’s like, I will body sam I’ll body slam you with my 660cc power of something heart. I don’t know. I’ll do something like that. But yeah, um it was Yeah. So I’m really glad we ended up meeting that guy. But if your friend is from Hokkaido, recommending this place. I vote street view. Foxy 7 Amarai said, “Whenever I hear about Japan weather, I appreciate my German weather more.” You want street view instead? It’s raining and windshield wipers and we have a guest. So, I can do this and we just talk. But usually when I have a guest, I I tend to have the the camera in. If you want it out here a little bit, I’ll do it. So, this probably is not the most photogenic part of Saporo. That’s right. Exactly. So, that’s another thing is like when we actually have something cool to see, I’ll I’ll put it this way, but I feel like this isn’t nearly as exciting. Duke DBZ face squeezed. Well, there’s no way to make everyone happy. So, I’ll put it forward for a minute and I’ll bring it back to us after that. Yeah, I just think that’s better. Ideally, obviously would be to have front and back, but I don’t have a system for that. Teriyak said, “Is death even a guest at this point? Yeah, there’s a way it’ll be no matter what I do people am feels like driving myself. New flakes said hello person said he’s like a supporting character in the stream. Oh, that’s what you meant. I thought you were like I don’t see him so he doesn’t exist. Oh my god. Jesus Christ. said new selling Lamborghinis. [Music] Ryuji the boy said, “Sir, if you are okay, blink twice.” He’s my hostage. Sober said, “I’m going to go sleep, too. It’s 3:00 a.m. here.” Sounds good, buddy. Get some rest. DBZ said, “Music a bit loud, nomad.” Okay. V Teryaki Chin said LA is arena Gi said who is this Ev have a good day you’ve never seen him on stream Yui I thought you would have by now I guess the last few months it’s been we’ve all been pretty busy but we have this thing called the KYC the Kyobi crew it’s you’ve seen Vulpy more recently probably Vulpy and Zev and I will go check out some nightife somewhere be warned Luke will be hinting your peach prints if you sit on a wet bench [Laughter] like hunting hunting peach prince. I did it the other day. I was I was walking along and I I we’re in the station like halfway in the station cover but still the benches were all wet and there was a perfect aspirant and I was like now I can sit down. It’s dry, right? Like someone has taken a bullet for me. Not intentionally, but it’s amazing. So I I’m always hunting for the dry peach 99 said we won’t see for another 6 months now. 6 months would be if it’s fast still waiting for KYX Tokyo collab by the way the um somebody was saying earlier was a Chino I think Juke_DBZ nomad is that person okay if we asked Vulpy to join us today she’d arrive by the end of the trip based on her punctuality and said do you also feel like you drive way better when you’re drunk Yeah. No, absolutely not. Definitely not. Blake said nomad boo. What’s a paddle club? Ski mountain outdoor. I bet those kind of shops are really popular here. Yes. It’s probably like p like a like a boati. Rei shiroyishi ward. The white stone ward. That’s actually pretty badass. I like that, dude. Smiling hard. Okay. Travel_99 says, “Nob will arrive next year at the end of the second trip if you summon her now.” Yeah. Duke DBZ said the question didn’t make sense. Nomad. I I just feel like Okay, good night everyone. They finished changing my bed pan. Grandpa Teriyak. Yeah, it’s well past your bedtime, man. Get some rest. He always goes to sleep early. Good night, grandpa. Reality, though, he had a kid recently, so nice. If he’s getting sleep at all, that’s good. That’s good. Yeah. Yeah. Had a second kid recently. So, that chain, we have it. Yeah, we have that chain in Tokyo. There’s a lot of chains here that I’ve never seen. It’s like all first time for me as I’ve been going through Oka 202 sleep well zed zed sleeping yeah sleep well buddy have a good one flake said good night be teriyaki and good luck oh shoot you can get there can I yeah probably can do the little uh yeah give a little thanks a little thank you blinkers yep I thought that was a naked Oh, it’s a leon. What? Do you know the Dhatsu naked? Oh, yeah. It’s about the same shape, but No, no, not a naked person. They’re really rare to see anymore. It’s a It’s a car. If you guys don’t know, Chad, Datsu Naked is a car where you can see a lot of the bolts and stuff on the outside. That’s cool. Uh it and it’s because it has that sort of almost like a Gundam look mildly. It was a popular car with enthusiasts and I used to see them a lot but now I because they don’t make them anymore. I don’t really see them that often. So I I thought it was one I was like oh I like looking at them. They’re cool. They got like it is rare to see a naked person unless you go to California. Camel 2020 said 3:30 a.m. Damn. So this is a bit south of K1W1 in Japan said, “I used to live in Shiroi 25 years ago.” Natsu Cashi. Oh, really? That’s cool. It looks nice. That dude looks drunk maybe, but it looks like a nice place. He’s stumbling and smoking. Totally. Bro’s wasted. Yeah. So, we’re south of Sapro Shiroshi. Mhm. Whit Stone. That’s I like it. It’s a neat name. The Whit Stone. One second. A little coffee. Juke_DBZ said, “Was that a wasted guy?” I think Japanese person told like salary man guy. Yeah. He had this zombie walk going like h brains. Is that how I walked on bucket night? Brains. Ryu decoy said it’s not rare if we got to the center or onen. That’s true. I was in a hotring this morning. I might go to that one tonight so that I don’t need to go in the morning. M it’s so I I’ve always that’s why I today and yesterday I did the hot spring in the morning and it just makes me you know when you finish a hotring you kind of just want to relax. That’s why I like the evening hotring like right before bed I go to sleep like I’m out like a light real quick. So I tried to go last night but I was so tired and the same thing happened the night before. So tonight I don’t care what time it is cuz it’s open till like it’s open all night. Yeah. Is this this one? Um, and they even have a discount after 1:00 a.m. or something. So, could technically be able to go at any time. Yeah. But they’re closed. The bath is closed from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. I woke up at like 9 today. I was like I was like, “All right, fine. I’ll wait.” You know? So, I just got some stuff ready. But, but yeah. Um, I want to do it tonight and then I can relax. It’s the same in the hotel, right? Like that probably Hotr is better almost always better at night. I always say I want to get up and try it in the morning too if it’s a nice hotel with a nice hotring. Yeah. Never motivated. No. Especially if you do the nightlife stuff. You don’t really like wake up. It’s like the breakfast. I I can’t do I I usually don’t even eat breakfast either. I don’t uh I’ll I’ll just do the plan without breakfast because usually you have to do breakfast between like 6:00 and 8:00 a.m. or something. And I don’t want to wake up early just for that, you know? Exactly. Like I think a hotel should have breakfast from after checkout. That’d be great. You check out, you set your bag down, you have breakfast buffet, and you take off. That would be so much better. Yeah. But they just want you to get the hell out of there as soon as like 10 or 11 hits, you know. What is this? Ramen. Ramen. San Pachi. Sanchi. So, this is probably a chain, right? I’ve never seen it before. Oh, probably. Or like there’s like three stores or something. B Canadian flag. Canadian flag. That was random. So, I think if we just move through What is this? I’ve seen I saw one of those in in Tokyo. Like, no, that like oil tank thing sideways. Oh, I think that’s it’s like either for like gas heating or like oil heating or something. It’s weird. Yeah, I see. So, they have it’s for the snow, but it’s it’s off in the stilts because of the snow. Oh, and it’s it’s either like oil or I think it’s oil. It’s oil or gas. So, my buddy lives in Fukui has um a roof he’s never used it, but his house came with a roof heater. has these pipes that go all along his roof. Oh yeah. And if he fills the the tank and runs it, it’ll melt the snow. Not your own riot from the front. I mean, this is I mean, Kaido’s great. Mhm. And understand why people would want a second home out here. Oh, yeah. Places I would 100% love to have a second home would be Matsumoto. Oh, Matsumotoyama. Yeah. Sapro or Hakodate. Maybe Hakodata because it’s really close the ferry you’re there, you know. Yeah. So, I drove up like 10 and a half hours. I was on stream. So, if I was without stream just on my own, probably could have gotten there in 8 and 1 half, nine hours and just quick pack some food or stop just really briefly. I was trying all in one shot, too. That’s kind of That’s pretty normal for me. Really? Yeah. Because otherwise I’ll kill too many days just trying to get here. True. Yeah. When I did the Kyushu trip, I stopped in Osaka to hang with Bivo and Hazu and a few other people. I ended up staying there like three days. Oh yeah, it was fun. You know, first night there, did all night karaoke. Nice. So then I’m like, okay, I need to sleep in a bit. And dope. That was fun. [Music] Amarai said we have a Japanese friend. Her parents live in Hokkaido. Nice. Yeah. I mean, it makes sense. Nice place. There’s there’s there’s like an overnight ferry that’s a lot closer, right? Yeah. So, Shoka looked into that. Um, so the benefits they have like a cabin. It’s overnight. Yeah. And they have a hotring on the boat, which is awesome. But it’s crazy expensive apparently. Like Patrick was saying something like 600 bucks. Yeah. Whereas the the ferry I took was about 110. So I did an overnight ferry once in Japan. And yeah, it was from Nata. It was from Otaru to Nigata. Oh wow. Okay. But we did it in the middle of winter and it was horrible. It was just rough seas the whole way. Oh god. See, Japan’s pretty choppy right now. The hot spring on the boat was goated. It was such a cool experience. Long I want to do it sometime, but not like Yeah. Not like now. And don’t do it in the winter. So I did it I did the hot spring on the boat that trip and it was like I’m in a wave pool. Yeah, it was horrible. God damn, man. So, don’t get a Japanese style room if you want to sleep because it’s like the futon and then sliding around. Yeah. Doing like spirals in the futon. [Music] I just picture spit out doing like donuts burning out said I still need to find time to come in winter again so I can try to do the kotatu train. Oh, that sounds fun. That’s a thing. That sounds awesome. I I never heard of that. Yeah, Kotatu. I need to do I need to look up more of those like cool I guess they call them like the joyful trains or whatever. There are some really cool ones. There’s like one with a sake bar on it. That sounds great. There’s like There’s one with like a stove. Just nail your Ukarta to the ground. Just I feel like you’re being constantly tugged left and right. Yeah. You think the bed would have been better? Probably. Yeah, probably. It’s also more comfortable. Yeah. How much was the ferry from Otaru to Nigata? I think it was like 15,000 or something. 10,000. That’s it. Yeah. Really? Wasn’t too bad cuz it was 17,000 for the hour and a half ferry from without a car. Oh, right. Of course. Right. Right. Right. Right. Car is more. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Without Without a car. The Hakodate ferry is only like 2,000 yen or 2,000 yen. Okay. Yeah, that makes sense. Ah, okay. So, maybe if I want to try it sometime, I just need to do it without a car. Yeah. Atlas said, “Look up the broad videos. He’s done a few of those trips you speak of.” Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I didn’t know that there. I thought all the sleeper cars were gone, but there’s still one that goes to Toto or something that I think that Chris did. Oh, the trains. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There’s the one I want I need to do that at some point. I thought they were all gone, but then he did a video. No, there’s that there’s that famous one. It’s really hard to book. It’s really popular. Yeah. But I’ve been meaning to do it. It goes to Shiman. Oh, okay. I got you. um to um Iumo. Izzumo’s nice. And it it splits so like half goes to Izzumo, the other half goes to Takamatsu. Okay. I’m trying to think. I’ve never been to Shiman and stuff. So the Seikko Mart has hours. Actually, I think most of them have hours. Really? Yeah. They’re not 24/7. Not all of them are. Yeah. Oh, you remember the um the 7-Eleven Juke said your shirt is nice armor. U nice shirt is called an amazing you flakes said too. It’s just cold. I don’t know about amazing. He’s He’s the one trying to get me to go back to Hakata and like give it a chance. The revenge tour. So, you’re talking to the right person. You he loves it and he’s like I’m going to make you love it. Yeah, it’s good. You got to do like the yachtai and stuff. I did. Yeah. It was especially great having uh Oh, sorry. I didn’t do the the the command today. This is Zev. Uh he’s a good friend of mine. He’s been on stream many times. And a video that never made it to Damn it. That was a fun day though. It was. It’s still It was a good time. said, “If you get the splitting train as soon as you get on by the shower ticket, they sell out.” That’s what I heard about. Yeah. Uh make him do bring all the Hakata is cool people. Oh boy. Jabori said, “Oh shit, Ze is also in Hokkaido.” Yes, sir. DBZ said, “No command called Ze Guest, bro.” That’s true. He’s a very, very special guest. the um I can’t even remember what I was going to say now. There’s something and then the ambulance came. Yeah. I’m actually wondering what the the fair with the car 19 travel 99 Duke DBZ 7 GTFV6 Trish which fair to Hokkaido. Um or to Kyushu. Is there even a ferry to Kyushu? I took a ferry from Oita to Aheime. Okay. Coming back. Yeah. Yeah. That was like a 19our stream. I went to a black rock sand beach. He’s very chill. We’re Californians, of course, for chill. Um said ambulance sto your train of thought. It did. So I went there’s like a all black sand and stone beach. It looked really cool. I flew the drone there and was in the video. Is that Noa? And then Yeah, no ita. And then I caught a ferry that was close to that said my keyboard and drove all the way home all in one go. Oh wow. So it was like 19 hours 17 or 19 hour stream. That’s crazy. And it it was from Yeah. to Saitama. Yeah. That was it’s a bit of a rough one. Yeah. Like I was going to stop and sleep in the car somewhere but I kept being like okay. So you drove basically through Shikoku out towards like I guess then up to Coobe. I didn’t do the um Aaji Island way. I did. There’s there’s like a few ways. There’s one that goes to I didn’t do the Shiman or whatever the Kaido. I didn’t Yeah. Shimami Kaido. I didn’t do that one. I did. There’s another one I think getting up towards Kagawa where it goes. Have you done that drive the Shimanami Kaido drive? Yeah, it’s beautiful. So, I’ve done all three or like the three main ways to get into Shikoku. Awaji Island. I did that. What is it? Shim Shimani. Shim Shimanami Kaido. Shimanami Kaido. I always forget that. Shima Namikaido and I and that trip I did like when it just goes directly into I think Hiroshima or somewhere or Okyama or something. I don’t know the I think it’s Okyama. Okyama. Yeah. Yeah. Cuz that’s how we exited. Yeah. When I did the that trip. Yeah. And then from there I just all the way home. Yeah. And then I got caught in a snowstorm. Um Oh, no. That was a different one. That was a Shikoku trip. When I came back from Shikoku through that Shimanami Shimani, I’m going to have to memorize this. Uh, I got caught in a snowstorm around Nagoya. Shima Nami. Shima Nami. It’s like ocean wave. Yeah. Or island wave. Ocean wave. Okay. Coffee time. It needs coffee. We’re getting close to our destination. Closer. I will switch batteries when we arrive. Birthday says she mummy yummy. That’s right. You know it. But yeah, did this um this makes all 47 prefectures. So I was really excited. Like as soon as I got to Hakata, I was like check. I’ve driven I’ve driven in and been to all 47 at this point. So that is Do you take your car to Okinawa or No. So Okinawa is the only place I didn’t have my car, but actually I rented a car. Yeah. Yeah. But I’m almost tempted to drive down and take a ferry over or whatever just so I can have driven everywhere with my car. That’s a lot of work and probably money. So this car has been in all the or between this this car has been in 46 prefectures. I rented a car in Okinaw. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Nice. So that’s cool. It’s cool, but that like bugs me. I’m like the OCD level. You got to do so much work just to like check it off the list, you know. Hey, thank you. We got a raid. Hey, hold on one second. 99910. Welcome to Bing Japan raiders. Oh, thank you very much. Welcome in. Uh oh. Yeah, you were in chat earlier, right? Did you do kind of a shorter stream then? Thank you so much for the raid. Hope you’re enjoying biking and camping in Hokkaido in the rain in a tent. That must be Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Duke DVZ isn’t Okinawa Alipa Muroka. I think that’s also part of the charm though. Or at least that’s part of the the draw to me is to just cuz it’s very different like culture. It is. It is. It’s travel_99 said it’s a 25 hours ferry ride to Okinawa. Blake said, “Well, Cocoa Takata is cool, guys.” Yeah. Welcome. Well, I don’t know about that last statement, but welcome in friends. Um I am a YouTuber twist streamer sometimes voice actor nomadic gajun joined here by DJ sticks a what how do you describe yourself? So I don’t dox anymore dude who got it uh yeah I work I work in tech so I got my company out was able to transfer me out here a few years ago. So very fortunate in that sense but if you wrong us he’ll find you. I’m just kidding. He he has his technology ways now. Uh yeah, I I I never know. I always like let let people introduce themselves because I never know what I can share and what I can I I roughly know with you, but yeah. And yeah, how was the stream though? If someone can tell me from the the the rain how the stream was. If you’re biking and dealing with rain in like in this weather, I can understand wanting to wrap up that stream. Yeah. take. It’s supposed to get pretty heavy at night tonight. So, just if he’s out there, I’m sleeping in my car. So, what I’ll probably do um I mean without the dogs, it’s so much different though. Yeah. Yeah. So, when we went to do their Matsumoto trip with the dogs, it snowed the first night. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Or something, right? And we’re like, well, we got to go back because with the dogs, there’s not much we can do if we’re we can’t stay here. Mhm. It was supposed to snow for like the next couple days, too. So, we’re just like But then I think it didn’t. Right. It didn’t. Yeah. Oh, right. Right. We were supposed to meet. That’s right. I was going to meet you cuz I was in uh I was up in Hakuba. That’s right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I was like, you remember? Oh, yeah. We were supposed to meet. Yeah. That sucks, man. We were so And for that trip, I love Matsumoto. Oh, it’s great. It is one of my favorite cities. It is definitely top tier currently my favorite or one of my favorites. Like I could if I was going to move away from Tokyo, I could really do Matsumoto. It’s still I can hop in the car for 3 and 1/2 hours and come back to Tokyo for like Ardly and other things and spend a few days there. Even by train it’s surprisingly convenient. Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Because it’s like 2 hours 2 and 1 half hours from Shinjuku non-stop. Yeah. And it’s like 2 hours to Nagagoya. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That Damn. So it’s really convenient. What do you think that says? I want to have Kobe now. Yeah, I miss my dogs and Choco. I’ll see him next week. Actually, that’s a trip you should do. It’s not It’s not a car trip is the uh the alpine route like over the Corp Dam and stuff. Oh, I do want to do that. Like the like the old school train thing. So, it’s got like the the It’s like five modes of transportation that you have to take to go through. Yeah, you can. I There’s There’s I drove to it, but I missed it by like 20 minutes. Yeah. There’s that that like black train that goes over. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, I drove to that station. Yeah. And I I was in during the Kyushu trip. I didn’t have time to wait to the next one because I was like kind of go go go by that point. Shoko was a little bit peeved at me because she wanted me to go to that, right? Yeah. And I went to this this So, the night before I was going to the gorge, that nice gorge the night before. Um I don’t know if we’re going to be able to get over here. Shoot. I guess a while. Yeah. Um the night before I had found I couldn’t find anything that was open. I went to this convenience store right before they closed and it was this old lady was there and um I didn’t have any cash and they took cash only. So she went out and she like she’s like hop in my K car. I’ll take you to the nearest ATM. And she drove me somewhere. I got cash, came back, bought some food and drinks. That’s crazy. And then she’s like, “I’ll I’ll drive you to your car back at the rest area so you don’t have to walk all the way in the rain.” That’s nice. It was super sweet. Like, you don’t get that kind of service normally from a convenience store. Um, yeah. Yeah. So, um, but she said, “Oh, there’s a big festival tomorrow. You should come and watch it if you’re filming for YouTube.” I was like I like, “All right, sure.” So, I I went to the gorge and I came to the back and I, “All right, guys. We’re going to watch this awesome festival.” And it was like, “Such a kind old lady.” She was Yeah, she was really sweet. And it’s like a bunch of old tired dudes just walking around shaking bells and stuff. There’s a dude on a horse and like some kids like Oh, wait. This is weird. So, I thought I think you can go through. Yeah, I thought so as well. I’m just going to go. Yeah. I think I was like in the cut off or whatever. Um, but once you get to a certain point, you’re supposed to just do it, right? The ones that get me are the turns where you turn on a green and there’s a red light, but you’re supposed to still go straight, you know? Um, yeah. So that uh it was it was an okay festival. Yeah. But if I hadn’t gone to that, I could have caught the train. Oh, sure. So then I was like I think I just missed the daily cut off or something. I don’t know. Boxy7 Amarai says, “I am going on a bike trip. Have fun. You guys take care, man. You have a good one.” Blake says, “Kind old lady. Probably trying to help a festival of her community.” Yeah. Yeah. So I mean I’m I’m happy I went and when I went, you know, I was able to talk to her again. her and her husband were watching it. So, I was like, “Thank you for recommending.” But Shogo’s like, “If you didn’t stop for this lame festival, you could have gone to the train. It would have been a good train ride.” Um, that wasn’t Sorry, that wasn’t Kurog actually. That was Where the hell was I? So, I’m I’m mixing. This is what happens when I’m this tired. I’m mixing like um Toyama and Where was that? Miyazaki. Oh, Kurob is one I don’t think you can get to easily by car, right? You you cannot go you cannot go by car cuz it’s um it’s all like private roads owned by the electric company or whatever. The mafia. Yeah. Electric mafia. So you have to use the the buses and trains and cable cars to go across it. But there is a cool train from Toyama to the start of just blaming show. No. She’s always trying to help me find the best content and stuff. She’s really sweet. So, she was right. It would have been better if I gone to the train, but how we doing? Reservations in two hours, right? Should be okay. Oh, yeah. We got plenty of time. All right. Also got to figure out like a good place to park. Um, and then the hotel for tomorrow night. Tomorrow night. Yeah, tomorrow night. It said they have parking so I can This is kind of cool. If I drop you off there later, I can scope out. Yeah, exactly. Where like I can park. Perfect. That’s always a little bit nerv nervous part for me cuz a lot of them will say parking. There’s parking but they don’t say how many spaces they have. Yeah. Yeah. It’s always full. Uh I’ I’ve been pretty lucky in general again. Everyone’s going to off the hole of yesterday. Did you venture to the mainsuki no tamuki koji road? No, I went to the uh TV tower, the park. There was a autumn festival. I did the underground mall. Um the yodashi with that looks like it’s from the 80s. I really like that. Um and then we did some off hunting like we’re doing now. And we went uh and then back to the rest area. Yeah, pretty like we’re going to be in Susino tonight though. Yeah. I wonder if they’re doing the festival and weather like this. Do they cancel it or they just deal with it? I think they just deal with it. It’s probably nobody goes. Yeah, I don’t know. I’d still go to those things in the rain, but it’s not like you want to stand outside with a beer. Okay, Z should show you the sign with the largest fiveletter N word later tonight. Oh, yeah. Oh. Oh, gotcha. Okay. Is that from Hokkaido? Yeah. Oh, okay. Yeah. their distilleries out in Yoichi, like right past Otara. Yeah, sounds good. We’ll see that. Yeah, I want to see the Tanuki shopping district and everything, too. This is DX said that whiskey brand is from Hokkaido. Yep. Didn’t know. I’m kind of okay with it now. I had a bad experience with it before, but it’s worse. Tories is like the one I can’t Tories is just like I can’t stand paint thinner. Yeah. Yeah. It’s like art. I don’t think it’s actually whiskey. No, it can’t be. It’s dirt cheap and it just tastes popular black. Yeah. Black. Yeah. Dude, I feel like everybody is going to this. Every turn we’re trying to take. It’s just this massive line of cars. Probably go down. Yeah. So, I’m wondering, can we just like We can I think so. Yeah, let’s do that. I don’t want to sit here and wait in this. Bye-bye. Flake said, “Do you like one cup or only goshi?” This is the only ones might be legal moonshine for all you know. On that’s our hotel, right? Yeah. Yeah. Oni Roshi is Hold on. Why can’t we recenter this? Is that it? Oh, there it is. Yeah, the message is blocking it here. Should we try it? All right. Yeah, it must be nice living here with the sidewalks though. Like normally the house is right up to the street and like I wish my house had this kind of gap in front, you know? Oh, dude. This was This might have been a really good call. Well, we’ll see. It’s a park on your list of places to visit to. Uh, which park is the Oh, Shiroy Koito Park. Where is that? Um, I’ve never actually been. I don’t know where it is. I don’t know um if we’ll have time. So after I check out of the hotel Tuesday, I’m going to gun it for a saiwa and spend a night, maybe two. You’re heading out like that day, right? You’re heading out that day. I’m heading out Tuesday. Yeah. That’s when I check out, right? Yeah. So you’re heading out and I’m heading to Saiakawa. Yeah. I was originally going to go to Asai before, but it was just too much go part of the city. I feel like after two nights in a hotel, I’ll be ready to like head, you know, do some more travel. But I by that by the point that I got to Sapro, I’d been like a new city every day. And I kind of just wanted to like it’s it’s worth spending time here. Yeah. I mean, I I would have just spent more sapro time after you left. But I I just figured this would this worked out better. Yeah. I wouldn’t have been able to get back in time to do dinner, I think, too. Tonight, I would have been like coming back from a Sai Kawa and been not really in the mood to go. Yeah. You would have been tired and cranky. You’ll smell the park once you drive in. My first impression of the car park there was being overwhelmed by the baked good smell. Yes. That’s like the famous cookie brand. Yeah. White lovers. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It’s white chocolate, right? Yeah. That’s why I always buy them at uh the airport before on my like on my way back to the US to bring to friends. My parents love it. Love those. They’re good. Yeah. My favorite. This is DX and in you have funny lovers. That’s right. There’s a there’s like a uh was it Yeah, that’s funny. Um X said V2. Yeah, I think I’ve seen that before. I don’t know if I’ve had it. Melty kiss chocolate with a lazy. Yeah, I like I used to eat it all the time, but I think it’s pretty much just like oil and chocolate powder, though. It just It’s like fudge. Yeah, it’s this is DX. Trust Aaka to come up with that joke. Oh yeah. Um my favorite like touristy thing that the city is known for. Tokyo has this thing called GM Tamago. GMA Tamago. Have you had that? I don’t think so. So it’s like unique like and chocolate. Yeah, that’s probably what it is. So it looks like an egg. It’s white. Mhm. The outside is a thin layer of white chocolate with like a little like spongy thin layer of spongy cake kind of thing. And the inside is uh black bean paste. Oh, interesting. And so it’s got the nice mix of chocolate with like that thick black bean paste. Not not like red bean with black bean flavoring, but just like a pure black bean. Black sesame. Sorry, black sesame. That’s what I’m saying. It’s a black bean. Black sesame. I don’t know why I’m like messing up words. I slept more last night than I’ve slept in um in this entire trip. I should be like on point, but I keep mixing places and words. I haven’t even had anything to drink in like two days, but I my brain is like maybe that’s why. Maybe we need I need fluent fasia. Yeah, maybe. Maybe we need a highball. I get that too. Yeah, you get that too. It’s annoying. But yeah, so the black sesame there’s I think there’s a a coating of black sesame on the inside if I remember as well. There’s But the cute thing is goat tamago written vertically spelled the same reading top to bottom or bottom to top. It’s what do they call it? Uh palen drum. Yeah. Uh I don’t need to be in this lane. I don’t know what I’m doing. This is also affecting my driving. Sorry. I keep turning where I’m not supposed to turn and going straight where I’m not supposed to. I’m usually a little more on point on drivetra. But yeah, that’s all right. If we have to loop around. I think we can sneak in here. Yum. Flake said, “What about Tokyo Banana?” It’s fine. You know, I’ve never actually had Tokyo Banana. I don’t think so. I need to try it sometime. All right, car. How we’re almost there. So, how do we get how do we get there from here? Okay. Yeah, I thought so. I just loop. Um, this is the end of the subway or this is the subway here. Okay. Oh, yeah, cuz we’re getting closer now, right? I’m glad I only had the one lettuce burger. I’m getting hungry, but like Yeah. Well, I’ll be starving by the time I get there, but it’ll be great. Have you guys ever done Jeniscon before when you’re in Japan or it’s um what besides being primarily lamb barbecue and like the the curvy type um grill and the little vent right above it. Is there something else that makes it different than yakiniku? Um I mean the main thing is it’s lamb barbecue. Yeah. Um I think I think so. And then some some of them have like lamb barbecue is tasty. A bunch of sauce that you can dip it in and stuff. That’s right. Yeah. Yeah. But I mean I guess Yakiniku does that too. Yeah. Like depending on the meat. I really like the lemon sauce they use at at Yakiniku. Like I think tongue is good for that. There’s a couple other. When I do yakiniku, I like to wrap it almost every piece in sanju, the lettuce. So, I end up eating tons of lettuce when I do yakiu. It’s feel like it it was there. There’s a bunch of different styles of Jenghaskhan, too. So, I think this one’s like a little more uh like east Hokkaido style. That’s where my friend’s from. So, it’s might be a little bit different. Drive to Hokkaido. I know how long it would take if you took a bullet train. Uh, I drove I drove okay 10 and a half hours but I was on stream. It was technically nomry nothing at home said why spoil the leaves with rabbit food. What? No, it’s good. Yeah, it’s great. When you get older, rabbit food is you’ll find you need you need rabbit food. Yeah, yakinik is kind of greasy. Too much mutton back in Beijing, but lamb barbecue sounds amazing. Yeah, it’s really good. It’s one of my favorites. I’m so excited for this. I’m glad you figured it. You suggested it and like worked it out. Yeah, it’s gonna be great. It’s a good spot. Private room’s nice. Yeah. [Music] Whoa. Yeah, you’re fine. Didn’t even He came out from there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I didn’t expect that at all. Like, look left. Oh, look right. Save. Look left. Safe. Look right. Car. What? where magic got the stone cutters entrance. Yeah, right. Um I totally forgot what I was saying. I’ve been doing that all day. Talking about food. Yeah, we’re talking about food. It was barbecues and stuff, right? Okay, now don’t make the same mistake twice. Yes. Thank you. It probably doesn’t matter. None of them are turning. Wait, can you go straight in that lane? I think so. says table. Oh, but just because everybody was turning I had I was stuck. Okay. Turn says actually aside off of a Chris comment. Watch out. You would think of it for ages. 19 time to Hokkaido. Well, I’ll be sleeping in my car tonight. I guess my car is going to smell like that. Smell delicious. Yeah. I’m going to wake up and I had um some local umeu I was sipping on and then I I I was so tired. This was like several nights ago and I I fell asleep. I spilled it on the bed. No, I was so sad. So, I had to like clean it up and Yeah. Yeah. So, now it’ll smell like umeshu and uh whatever uh jingis in there. Lamb barbecue. Oh, yeah. You were talking about the drive time to Hokkaido. Oh, drive time to Hokkaido. Thank you. So, the place I stayed the first night was technically, let’s say, like a 9h hour drive if if I just made a quick stop for gas and didn’t like show the rest areas and take my time. So, let’s say about 9 hours to that stop and then it’s about an hour and a half to the ferry the next morning. So, 10 and a half hours to the ferry if I was It’s It might even be faster. I took a little bit of a detour. I I mapped like the best reception areas and I put points so that I could go around where you guys could get the stream better. If I was to go on the other coast, the reception was worse, but it’s faster. So, probably I’d say uh 10 hoursish, you could probably get to the ferry part point from my house and then the ferry is an hour and a half and then you’re in Hakodate. So, but the problem is the fairies, the ferry from Oma is only like 6:00 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. So, if you want to do it all in one go, like my house to Hakodate, you got to leave like at night. Yeah. And then do an overnight and get there for the afternoon one. Yeah. Yeah. That’s what I said. I was like, we’ll take an extra day. Coming back, I might stop at Nasu uh for the night because there’s a really great um date only has hakad and tss. Only hakodate only hakodaki. Look at these houses. Even these like the the tati at least have some space between them. Mhm. I just I keep looking at the houses here and being like, man, they’re all they’re all like this is probably the smallest of the houses and it’s still if you see the little pencil houses in Tokyo. Oh, dude. That’s what this is probably that’s this version. Exactly. Probably the same size as my house. So, yeah. A little tiny tiny bit smaller. Oh, yeah. Explant hot springs. Yeah. Hot springs. Yeah. And now there’s a hotring that um it’s like really old and they gathered some these 10 herbs together and I think I told you about this. The bath you can only sit in for 5 minutes. It’s like KFC. Yeah. 11 herbs and spices in your bath. But dude, Genghaskhan is his title, by the way. His true name is Tuin. Wait, what? I don’t Is this like historical or just making? I don’t know. Umh after you get out of that bath, it’s the most refreshing. Like after a two week trip, I I will feel like I just started the trip. Nice. It’s I call it the like the Dragon Ball Z Senzu bean. The Zenzu bean cuz like I get out of there and it feels amazing. Like wow, no soreness, no tiredness, just I’m great. Nice. So I I buy the bath version of it. They crush the powder up and you put it in the bath and it’s really nice. Every time I’m really sore with his title, he was born Teamujin. Oh, okay. Okay. Khan is like a title I belly. I see. Well, then I can imagine there’s probably a Jingaskhan restaurant named Timujin somewhere. There has to be. Yeah. I thought you were making a joke like he’s like a cuz Jin Jyn is like person and Timu like Timu.com he’s like a uh he’s a half person. He’s a cheap version of a person. He’s not the real con. Yeah. Discount con. Discount con. There it is. That’s what I thought was happening. I’m like I’m too tired to get this joke. It’s actually legitimate information. Thank you. Makes more sense. Duke DVZ ADHD hypnomad. It’s not even ADHD. I’m just This is DX. How Khan descending? Khan descending. That’s actually a pretty good one. Yi Flakes said this Khan sounds horrifying. IRL Bane said there are actually various drama serals about his life. It’s very interesting and the actions are often good. Jesus Christ, dude. I hate this. Rolling on the floor. How do we keep getting stuck in turn only said Harold and Puma White Castle movie? Come on. Come on. I don’t want to keep getting lost. We’re like just minutes away. Just give me a in. Somebody let Okay. Well, we’re going to make it happen. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, they’re not really good about being Nothing was signposted. Yeah, there was nothing, right? No, it’s like last minute. Oh, you got to turn. Okay. New_BZ. We’re being lost. What is this partic? No, I just uh we have to go straight on the road and the lanes keep taking me out. Maku Manai Park. Oh, there it is. Mako Makana River and Park says you’re powering Japan by turning in the road. Yeah, we’re just we’re just I was talking about this the other day and no one piped in with like where it is, but I thought Japan was the one that made the uh the plate the the stuff you step on to generate power that they want to put in cities. Or was it the US? Oh, like put on the sidewalks and stuff. Yeah, it’s like it’s like this Lego looking Yeah. Yeah. like kind of transparent Lego looking thing. And as you step, as you walk, you’re actually like generating a little bit of power. Which if you put in to put that in central Tokyo, you could power all sorts of stuff with it. Yeah. But I think the material itself is expensive. And if it it’s it probably wears down pretty quick. I thought that was the I thought it was the opposite. I thought it was supposed to be resilient, but but but I think it’s expensive. Yeah. Or but I don’t know. Maybe it wears down. I mean, I’d imagine that stuff would wear and if you have to repair it, it get expensive. Yeah. But imagine like Shibia having that. You could power Shibia. Just the Hiko crossing like the scramble. Yeah. When everyone goes at home at at home home at night like all their power turns off. I don’t know that that crossing is busy. It’s always practically 24/7. Right. There it is. All this way for one stamp. Oh god. Sappo, you’re killing me. No, it’s all right. I find that even if it’s just one, they typically have down just by the number of we’re expecting. There’s also a book have in them. U said, “Japan, stay awake or we won’t have energy.” Yeah, we need more tourists. Millions of tourists going through Tokyo, they’ll power a lot of stuff. So, I was reading apparently Book Off and Hard Off are two different companies. Yeah, I think they’re um but like the owners are friends or something like that. So So there’s different apps and the Book Off one doesn’t have the stamp collecting. I feel like it will one day and then I’m going to be pissed cuz I’ve been to so many. Yeah. Like no. Well, there’s a lot more I feel like in Tokyo there you see a lot more book offs and hard offs. Yeah. Because um like reselling and buying and reselling comics is a really big thing for them. So I think it works pretty well. Okay. Are you straight? Probably not. Nope. Damn it, man. No, no, no. I think I’m going to need like a brain break tomorrow. Yeah. Yeah. I think I’ve actually like between filming and streaming reached my my brain literally isn’t working anymore. Pigil X9 said, “Good morning, beautiful people. Book offers its own separate brand, but I believe still owned by the same parent company.” I see. They just do things differently. The only time I ever got ousted out of an off shop was a book off, was it? That’s funny. But I kind of feel like the lady didn’t like it was her decision. It wasn’t like the shops like it wasn’t their policy. She would just didn’t really want us there. Were you fil was because you were filming or I was streaming but Cat had her phone on a gimbal and maybe that was just like she just wasn’t really keen on that. So, and just just walk it. Just walk it. Yeah. Yeah, it’s fine. That’s I covered my bag. So, should be all right. Take care of the camera. I have to immediately pee. I’ve been drinking coffee and water. Yeah. Okay. You can go first. I’ll catch up. Actually, let me give you this then cuz I’m going to run to the bathroom. Oh yeah. Okay, that’s true. When I do mine, I BRB it. Matt peed on stream. That was so funny. Peanut butter. That was the next line said. That was so funny when Matt peed. He’s like, I’m going to go throw away this can and we just God damn it. Ah, I’m really getting sick of this. Tripping on stuff. dealing with the rain now. I just I just tripped over a cable. I almost ate it. Sorry. I just Tonight’s going to suck staying in the car with this with I do not look forward to that. All good. We’ll make it. We’ll make it through. I made it this far. Halfway. Halfway. Well, what what Matt did was he went in the restroom and or no, he went in the we were sitting outside of Kier having coffee and he went in to throw his can away and then kind of decided, oh, I’ll just go use the restroom while I’m here and totally forgot he was miked up. Now, this is something we often do, but he doesn’t use mics on his streams, so he just didn’t think about it. Where is the restroom? Is it inside? Maybe, maybe. Come on. Come on. Come on, camera. At least it’s not on chin mode. Might get the Luffy scar number two. I feel like it might happen. And for what? Let me do the stamps before I forget because that’s something I would easily forget. Oh yeah, thank you for reminding me. I thought about it. Maybe I haven’t been to this one yet. Let’s hope. There we go. Yeah, I got it. 289. Done. All right, here we go. [Music] The hell is this? How’ you like that? Nice [Music] Baku Baku balloon. Oh, look at these kids. They’re joyfully stabbing a balloon. Does your child exhibit serial killer tendencies? Well, you could let them kill small animals or we’ll get this game with balloons and they can stab that. It’s like Dexter Jr. Home Edition. We need to get upstairs so they can take the elevator since you got your bag. Or do you want to carry it? heavy. Yeah. Let’s go. You sure? I have guns because I carry microphones. I thought you were telling me that you have guns. Like, yeah. I was I was a little bit worried. Yeah. Yeah. I was a little bit worried there’s guns in that bag. Welcome to Omio Station. Damn, Ichiro is getting old, but you can only tell by his hair. His face looks the same. Yeah, he does definitely do something with his face. Yeah, battery died. I’m It’s crazy. Um, I’m looking at chat now, but we’re back. Okay. To the swap. Where was the restroom? It’s over there. It’s in the building or in the building. Okay. Yeah. A lot of the ones it’s been like just outside. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I got it. Okay. I’ll be back, man. Sounds good. Faster this time. That’s got to be. Here you go. Does it actually work? And yes, that was a move. Holy crap. Yo, look at that. Dope. Dope. Trump. Give it a second to really come through there. Yeah, I’ll give you Oh, sorry. I’ll give you [Music] He was like summoning the demon lord of the depths. He’s powering up to the second level there. That’s beautiful. A legitimate thing of beauty, guys. That That’s hilarious. I’m having a a not great mental moment, so I’m trying to like take a deep breath and chill out. We’ll get there. We’ll get there. The oven negative thoughts are creeping. Got to do your usual thing, you know. Uh where’s I love this. Is he eating ramen? He’s eating ramen. Cute. There’s a bunch of people eating dongo. Oh no, it’s a chocolate fondue. There’s Kobe, that cheating bastard. [Music] Hey guys, children of the8s might recognize this. I only used it like once or twice. This is the power the PAX power glove. It was a different company in the states, right? For Famicom. It’s junk though. Every time I see uh a power Not every time, but almost every time I see a Power Glove, it’s junk. There’s a an Eevee for babies. Phil would love this. It’s like some kind of baby toy. That’s cool. Not from the 80s, but even I know about it. You know, the power There’s a power glove over here, man. Power glove. Yeah. It’s junk, though. But Yeah. Look at the Acura motorcycle. Holy. Oh, sick. It’s probably broken though, right? Yeah, it’s junked. Yeah. But I don’t know what the Let me see what the problem is. It just hasn’t been confirmed. It might actually work. They probably don’t have a game they can use it with. Yeah. I mean, it power really wasn’t all that great. But what is this Sharp controller? It looks like uh Oh, yeah. Huh. Well, I see I saw this here, too. Yeah. So, that’s the that’s the dual uh disc disc drive system for Famicom, but the controller should be the same. That might be for that cuz that’s also sharp. Yeah, but the controllers should be the same. I know they were detach. No, see the controllers are already there. Oh, yeah. Huh. Yeah. Yeah. I don’t know what they’re for. Could be a difference. Sharp did a couple Nintendo things. I wonder if you know what I wonder if it connects to the disc drive. The separate disc drive. You should use it as a prop. It’s 8,000 yen. I would get one just for the the the studio if it was cheaper. Yeah. like completely junked because it’s not confirmed. It’s 8,000. If it was confirmed to be fully broken, it might be five. I think an N64 expansion pack. Don’t usually see those sold separately. Yeah. Weird. Yeah, that’s cool. Hit box. So, this one’s interesting because they’re mixing junk with regular stuff. They don’t usually do that. Hard off usually keeps everything in a junk section. I mean, they have a junk section. Yeah. So, it’s weird that they have here. It’s full of junk. There we go. It’s junk though. What is Oh, are you looking for Yeah, the the four port the four USB port. It’s got the compact flash. Yeah. Apparently, there’s a lot of fun you can have with those ones. But if it’s the old one, you can see you used to be able to install Linux on them. Yeah. So, or there was actually like a like official like Linux support. Yeah, that’s pretty wild. What is this? No clue. Maybe it’s a dating sim, but it comes with this little like clear binder. It’s interesting. That’s cool. I We can head to the one that’s closer to where we’re going. And then I think it’s only 10 minutes from here. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then we can make find a good parking and start heading towards dinner. I’m excited for that, dude. It’s going to be good. I’ve had to rush a lot of my meals. I got a few good ones, but I need like a sit down and enjoy a meal. It’s even a junked PSP is 5,000 yen. Yeah. Not crazy. PS Vita. PS Vita is like a PSP but easier to put emulators on. Oh, a PS VA is I guess that’s why they’re getting more expensive, right? It’s a giant giant automatone. Yeah, I’ve been seeing these everywhere lately. I I didn’t like ever really see them before. They were really popular like 10 years ago. Really? Hold on. Just I always like to walk through and see what they’re what they’re advert not advertised but like the records that they want to like display. That’s dope. What are they called these? Um that’s how you played it, right? You have to like crank it. You crank it. Whoa. And it actually keeps going. You just You don’t have to crank it the entire time. It rides a spring in there. And then um it amplifies the volume through this cone. Audio. Audio or audio. Or is audio raku. Oh, sorry. Audio. Somebody know what the I’ve seen these before. That’s so wild. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one at Har. Look at the speaker. I found one. things are like super super desirable. Yeah, there was one I found the other day. It was I think it was 800,000 and I just love the design of it. It was about that size, but it had a really cool like design. There’s I think it might give you this. There’s a there’s a like a record bar in Ebisu that I like to go to that has these kinds of speakers. Oh man, awesome. Yeah. Gramophone. Gramophone. That’s hence the price. Yeah. Super cool. Yeah, this place is way more book off. Yeah, cool. I’ve noticed that in Sopro almost all of them have book offs nearby or attached compared to anywhere else I go. All right, got it. Ah. All right, we’re back. Gramophone. That was really neat seeing that actually. I don’t think I’ve seen one in person like that. That was really It was definitely different. Okay, I’m going to see if I can charge the other battery for like calm down. Event detection recording. I can’t believe that it either died or it just this is the battery that that died the other day. So, it’s either completely empty or it burned out. Oh, hold on. Let’s see. No, it just died. Why did it die so quickly? Doesn’t usually die that fast. Just takes like 8 hours or something like that. That’s so strange. It’s been 4 and a half. I started maybe 30 minutes to an hour before I went. So, should it should have last longer. I think two of my batteries are pretty much on their last. Yeah. Yeah. I ended up buying a bunch of gear for this trip, too, because, you know, it’s coming a two week trip in Hokkaido. I want to make sure I have like everything. But at least it’s working today without like constant FS. So, I’m happy. Um, but yeah, dude, it’s it has not been a cheap endeavor, let me tell you. Just trying to experience this and and enjoy it. It’s um it’s def you know I in my previous job there’s no way I could have I maybe I could have okay we there’s one stretch of four weeks paid holiday which is cool in winter. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But I wouldn’t have been able to drive here doing that. Definitely. I usually just I usually have that time to go home. Yeah. Really heavy snow, right? Yeah. That would have been the only time I could do something like this. Um, okay. So, you said we it was like 10 or 13 minutes away. Pretty quick. 14. But yeah, then after that, it’s about 10 minutes to where we’re going, right? Exactly. Okay, perfect. Sweet. Let’s go, guys. Oh, right. I might need to be able to hear you. [Music] Where should we go out? Uh, this way. That way if you can. That way? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Cuz we just have to wrap around, right? Yeah. That’s stupid. Uh, wait. Really? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You’re right. I think this is an entrance again. I’m so weird about that. No, there’s there’s an arrow point in this one. Oh, okay. It’s because I think in Tokyo and Saitama, they might have multiple entrances or exits, whatever, but they usually just share them. This music is really cozy. Yeah, with the rain and everything. It’s nice. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I agree. Hope you’re enjoying. Hope someone turn. I think so, right? Yeah. Yeah. No, no. I’m I’m I second guessed it, too, dude. I’m right there with you. That’s correct. That’s been me today. Like, wait, am I turning again in the wrong spot? Is this a hotel or a love hotel? Uh, looks like a regular hotel. Look kind of old though, huh? Yeah. Oh, I’m sorry, dude. Your chair might not be all the way back, but it could be. Is it comfortable enough? Yeah. No, it’s perfect. Yeah, I know. I I I pull I scoot them forward every night and I I remember scooting it back but I don’t know if I did it. I I adjusted it when I got it. Okay, cool. It could still probably do more. You have to pull the back like the way the seat goes. It’s jammed into the Oh, yeah. back. So, if you need more space just going forward. Yeah, I clean out the I had a lot of stuff in the front seat like bags and stuff. So, I I sorted everything. When you asked me about the suitcase, I thought Yeah, should be fine. Let me check. And then yeah, once I set everything up, like oh, we actually have plenty of space as long as it’s organized. Well, I have a couple bags of just trash, but I have nowhere to get rid of them. Like most it’s mostly like just plastic and random stuff. Yeah, like the comini or something. Yeah, if if I get on a highway, they’ve got all the trash cans, which is nice, but the Minoakis typically don’t have trash cans, right? I mean, it makes sense. I think they would be like overloaded. At least on the highway, you’re paying for it, so they I think they just kind of They’re like, “All right, fine.” Yeah. It’s something that makes you stop there and then they get to sell more things so they’re happy. Yeah. This is Oh, this is it, isn’t it? Ah. Oh, we can go straight. Yeah, you can go straight. Let’s do it. It’s a similar ETA. Yeah. Now, what number trip is this for you to Hokkaido? I don’t know. I usually try and come to Hokkaido like twice or three times a year. Once in the winter, once in the summer year. Wow. Yeah. This is my third trip this year. Damn, dude. Yeah. Yeah. You came for the snow festival, right? Yeah. I mean, dude, you can get really cheap flights up here. Like, it’s if if you fly and just like can’t go around, it’s not too bad at all. I hate flying. Yeah, but it’s a fast flight. Domestic domestic flights in Japan are it’s it’s like a taking a bus. Yeah, it’s I Yeah, still I just hate flying. But um you go out of Hanida then Haneda. Yeah. Do they have flights out of Narita or I have to go to Hanida? They do. Okay. Yeah. I’ll give it a try for winter cuz I don’t want to drive up there in winter. No. If you’re in winter. So I could I could I could do that. Yeah. How long is the flight? An hour. Hour and a half. That’s it. Yeah. Damn. It’s really quick. Less than the ferry. Yeah. All right. I’ll give it a go. Yeah. Scotty_d said the bullet train’s pretty fast. About 3 hours. Yeah. But the cost, right? It’s Yeah. You can basically you can get a first class ticket on Jel for this price of the a regular seat on the Shinkansen. Really? Yes. It’s like Sunman or something. 30,000. Yeah, it’s not worth. And it only goes to Hakodate. It doesn’t go to Sapurro. Right. Right. You have to take another like 3 hours, 3 and 1 half hours of train from Hakodate to Sappur. I’ve done it before, but if you’re just going to Hakodate, then it’s probably fine to do the bullet train. Yeah, it’s the bor. It’s on that edge of like flying is better, right? Yeah, I guess. I’d always rather take a train than fly. Said, “Hey, Luke Ze in chat.” Hey, hey, Sho. What’s up? Hope you’re doing well. My brain is smush, but hopefully we’ll get better after eating some delicious food. We’re going to Jingus Khan tonight. Shoko. A friend of his from who’s from Hokkaido recommended this place, and we got a private room, so we can hopefully It’s fine. You can take the next one. Actually, it’s probably better to take the next one. Google loves to do that. It’ll be a stop sign and I’ll be stuck there waiting. You know, this is the mushy brain part. Mhm. I keep I keep missing turn. Awesome. Yeah, I’m happy. So then uh have to decide whether tomorrow. So either Sunday or Monday should be um offstream. So like uh do we want to show stream Otaru on Monday? Even if we end up like if there’s places you want to go that we can’t stream, we just finish before those or something. Sure. Or cuz I think it’d be cool to show Otu on stream. Yeah. It’s a really beautiful place. And then we’ll just chill around Sapro tomorrow off stream. Yeah, that could be good. Yeah, actually might be better. Um because I feel like that way that and if I take tomorrow off I can have one more either half day or day somewhere along the trip to refresh and like get ready. Yeah. I think my bag also just kind of needs a break. It’s been used every day. Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So it gets it gets this like Yeah. You know how my bag is in a state of funk. It’s actually working fairly well today. it. But one reason that the battery is not holding a charge is probably cuz it doesn’t get a actually hold a charge for that long. Yeah. If it finishes charging and then it’s being used immediately all day long. So that actually could work really well. Monday’s my normal stream day anyways. Yeah. Perfect. the places that you go in Otaru, do you think some of them would be like uh stream friendly or should be like Oh, are you talking about like the the food places or whatever the places you were telling me about? You think they’d care? No, I I’ve I’ve been there before with Micah’s streamed there before. Oh, okay. Oh, then yeah. Yeah, let’s just do that. Is that’s okay with you? Yeah. Yeah. And then it makes it easy for check in the apartment or the hotel. The hotel. Yeah. Yeah. See, I’m like I’m messing up normal words. I think I need a break. Yeah, a lot of it’s the sleep debt. I just think I slept I slept best night last night and that was still like not that great. So, it’ be nice. We check in tomorrow. I guess it’s three, right? Mhm. Yeah, it should be good. I give everyone a break from me, too. I think so. I think yeah, sometimes you got to do that, right? Like every single day. I I also could do it Monday, the members, Patreon members want to do um the ones that live in in the uh North America, they want to have like um a members like Discord drink hangout. Oh, cool. Um, I mean, which we you can join if you’re down, but it would be like in the morning for us. Oh, god. Because it’s night time for them. Yeah. Yeah. Could be before we like go walking somewhere just a little bit like a beer or something. But yeah, we’ll we’ll find out. I’m always down like I can be down for breakfast whiskey is a thing, right? Breakfast beer. So, I know B teriyak wants to do that. Chino was down. Scotty_d said, “Sleep does sound good. Have a good safe drive and good night. Take care, buddy.” Yeah. See you. Have a good one. But I think that should work for for a plan. So, um, super in cuz I I also think sleeping tonight, the heavy rain. What’s your plan after hanging out with Luke Z? Um, depends how late we go, but just wait for the next one. Yeah. So, I’ll need to go check into the hotel. Maybe hit a bar around the area or something. I’ll go back and like I I figured after dinner uh Wait, what’s the latest you can check in? I don’t think it matters. Okay, that’s fine. So, dinner’s what, like an hour and a half or hour set? Yeah. I just thought it’d be cool to walk around the town, the area, that area a little bit and then I can drop you off if that’s if you’re want to see how the rain is. Yeah. If you want to just get dropped off, I can do the walk alone, too. I don’t mind. Just wanted to walk I thought I could show chat like we should the rainy walk in in uh It’s really nice. That that’s like the nightlife area of Suzu Suzukino. Suzukino. Yeah, I’m not going to remember anything today. Suzu Kino. Oh, is that Shima Nami Kaido? There we go. I got I’ll remember that one now. But after So, we’re hanging out. He’s got the hotel tonight through Tuesday. I’ve got it tomorrow through Tuesday. So then um at Tuesday after you check out you’re head just heading straight back. I have an evening flight so Oh nice. Just hang around as a stop for the day. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then you I might go to the airport early and hit up the onen in there. There’s a hotring at the airport. Oh yeah. Is it in like a a lounge that you have to have access to or anyone can use it? Uh any it’s outside. It’s before security so anyone can use it. Yeah. That’s awesome. Yeah. Okay. That might win me over for a flight at some point. So I I think you could see the the planes from the from the onen. That’s pretty neat. That means the planes can see you from the onen, too. Hey, nothing wrong with that. This guy’s doing a little dance out here. Yeah, there somewhere um the hotring I went to in Mudon when I went to the outdoor bath. Yeah. They had like these windows these not there weren’t windows there were gaps in like the the that fake bamboo fence that the boardwalk walk is right there and it has like a raised platform thing too so if somebody was standing on that they could just see me like fully nude so I was like hopefully the women’s one at least is blocked cuz like other like this it’s right on the boardwalk so it just seemed too exposed to too exposed to the elements the elephants. So, I walked out of the thing and I was like, “Oh, I can see the It was kind of late, so it’s fine, but I can see the boardwalk very clearly. How do they offer privacy here?” So, I was on one hand curious if they blocked the women’s side, but I didn’t want to walk over there just in case they didn’t. So, I was like, I’ll just I’ll just have to assume. Leave it up to the imagination. That’s right. Yeah. So, I didn’t walk over there, but I wouldn’t want to see. I just wanted to know because sometimes they they’re a little bit less protective of the men’s side. Like they’ll put the men’s hotring side on like an exposed area where there’s like a mountain or something and they’ll have the women’s one more secluded. Yeah. Which is makes sense, you know? I get it. But just funny. There’s some hotring in uh Well, did you ever go to the to Namaribetu? No, I haven’t. Go. I really want to go there. That was Did you I don’t know if you saw the picture um in the river, but it’s a hotring river. I just Oh, and you can just like walk through it or something. I said my guess is they use the anime method of steam or beams off light. Just beams of light. Yeah. They got the spotlight that just homes in on all the private parts. Yeah. Yeah. Or like Futurama where they had the the mos the the black bar was being generated by some unit. Yeah, I win. Yeah, that was great. Uh yeah, so the the river it just like it’s constantly flowing. It’s the If you’ve ever used Nihon Noto’s like the hot spring powder stuff, it’s for no betsu. It’s like a milky color and it was that color for the river. So, it’s like legitimate. That’s how it is. And then the temperature was perfect. It wasn’t like overly hot or too cool. It was like great and the the the material of the sand in the river felt really good on my feet. So, like walking through felt nice. I need to go I need I’ve been meaning to go there. So I I was like, “All right, I’m going to stay I stayed in one of the hotring hotels right there because they had that water in the in the hotring at the hotel.” Oh, sick. And the room was good. It was like I saw the picture of the room. Awesome. Yeah. Yeah, that was I think to stay there. I forget how much it was. It was like 15,000 for the night. That’s pretty good. With access to local hotring and um Definitely. And that that huge room. I was just like walking around to to enjoy not being in the car. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, that’s good, dude. I was just like walking around like, “Yeah, this is great.” Oh, man. Sometimes when I stay in a hotel after sleeping in the car for a week, I like jump on the bed or just like like wander around or roll around. I’m like, “Freedom.” You have a mattress you put on this. Yeah. It’s like You can feel it. It’s this memory foam. This Yeah. It’s It’s comfortable. Actually, that’s not the problem. It’s just like space. Yeah. I mean, it’s a it’s like a semi- double bed, which is fine, but it has all my There’s There’s a lot of stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Um, but it’s it’s, you know, it’s just like when I get up, I’m grabbing the bar and like pulling myself up. And, uh, the biggest thing for me is using a restroom. So, like in the middle of the night, if I have to be out of the car, I got to get out of the car. If it’s cold, I got to put on like a jacket. I got to walk over to the building. The restrooms are nice. They’re really nice at this place I’m staying, but it’s still like I’m walking for like couple like two minutes, 3 minutes. So, by the time I get back to the car, I’m wide awake. I even I get annoyed at like the if you stayed in like a like an old Rioon where it’s a shared bath it’s a shared toilet so you have to go out of the room time for that shit. Yeah, exactly. So that that’s for me I think the biggest thing is just the space of being able to and they have a desk so when I’m doing all my my the YouTube footage I can sit at a proper desk instead of like sitting in the car doing it. It’s I’m fine with all that stuff, but just after a week and then we’re now I’m staying in a hotel. It’s going to be really nice tomorrow. I’m going to be just like, “Yeah, it’s going to be good. I like this hotel a lot.” Yeah. And so it’s nice that you recommended it because you you’ve been there and so it’s good. It’s perfect. So now we got chains. We are familiar with Hamushi. Yeah. that we went to Hamuzushi the other day. Have you been there recently? I haven’t. So they um actually not sure if I’ve ever been to one. I actually kind of liked it. So they were doing um a lot of the they would do like one piece so you can try lots of stuff. You know what I mean? Oh, is it like two at a time or whatever? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I was trying like various ones and then ordering more of the ones I liked. And it was decent for the price. That was pretty good. 90 minutes is okay. All right. We’re not going to be here that long. I see a lot of co-ops, too. Co-op. Cook delicious food store. Copu. That’s a That’s the kanji. The pronounce ku co-op right there. Ku koo. It looks like co-op, like video game, right? Yeah, that’s what I thought. C O P. No, no, no. It’s uh cope. That’s like Summit. I always call it summit, but it’s like sumito or something. Oh, I can’t see this car. I think we’re good, right? I’m a little bit over, but we’re in now. I can’t read anything. I can’t see anything in this. Oh, it looks like we’re fine. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you’re fine. All right. The same car that was behind me last time. Maybe someone else is doing the stamps. Is he following you? I don’t know. Could be just coincidence. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Off we go, friends. Into the rain. Whoa. The battery charged 25% from the car while we were doing that. It’s good. Yeah. I bought this little unit and it’s like high speed and it plugs into here. Oh, yeah. I saw that. Yeah. So, it’s really it’s really nice because I can charge like for this trip I can charge like six devices while I’m driving. Actually more more I need. Thank you. All right. Run. Where’s the entrance? It’s behind us, right? I think it’s on facing the street. Oh, it is. Yeah. Okay. So, by the time we get to the other place, probably I can charge the battery enough to at least help with the restaurant. Is there at least a cover? Nope. Just got to run. [Applause] Ah, I’ll do the stamps now real quick. Okay. Three stamps. Nice. What is this destiny coin? Why does it say udon? It’s unme, right? Like the coin of destiny. Oh, hot or cold? Wake up, sleep more. Just buy one, buy them all. Kinoo takino. Oh, like the chocolates, right? Work late, go home. Yeah, I kind of want one of these, too. Udon. Soba. Do it now. Do it tomorrow. Rice or bread. Dude, I’m I’m videoing this. I’ve never seen this. The coin of fate. This is the coin of coin of destiny. Winnipeg. Yeah. Coin of destiny. All right. Let’s see what I get. Oh, buy buy one buy allow. Yeah. Or Zimbuko. I’m going to get one of these, too. Yeah, it’s cool. How much? 300? Yeah, that’s not bad. Wait, should I flip your coin to decide how many to buy? I don’t know. We’ll just do it. Too dangerous. Too dangerous. Exactly the reasoning. Too dangerous. Well, Benji, I collect the stamps, so I have to go to the mall if we’re going to get the mall. That was part of the deal on this trip. I promise to go to as many as possible while seeing as many sites as possible while streaming as much as possible. There we go. Nomadic’s coin of fate. Destiny awaits. It better not be Udon soba. Hot or cold? Nice. Well, hot or cold. Kind of I like that one. Yeah. So, like if you can’t decide if you want a hot soba or cold soba. Hot coffee. Cold. Yeah, I think actually. Yeah, this is one of the good ones. Yeah, do it. Do it now, do it tomorrow is also good. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yu Ashtaka. Here we go. I like the wake up sleep. It’s a nice coin. It’s heavy. Yeah, it’s not just plastic. Yeah. Hot, cold, hot or cold? Cold. Hot. Cold. Hot. Still a lot left. Yeah. Oh, I haven’t done the stamps yet. Is this uh Let me Here we go. I want to do something special for 300. That’s a lot of stamps I collected on stream. Mhm. There you go. 292 at a 965. It went up four shops while I’ve been here. Yeah. Yeah. Bastards. So, you said you did all of them in Saitama already? Yep. 105 at 105 for now until they expand it. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So, there’s something I’ve just show my ass. There’s something that’s been uh Army Fight three. This is a perfume. Army fight. You smell like you’ve been in an army fight. No, you need this one, man. Uh oh. Is there a worse one? King of beasts. King of beasts. Ferrar. It’s got a lion on it. It’s a premium collection. Yeah, it has to be. They have a tester if you want. Do they really? Wait, let’s I want to be the king of beast. Where’s the tester? Wait, no. I want the army. I want army fight. Army fight. There you go. You put it like on your Oh my god, that’s a lot. That stinks. I’m going to stink the car up with army fight. God, that was way too much spray. Wow. Reminds me of like Axe body spray. It does kind of remind me of axe. Uh-oh. The chat got busted. Is it working? Oh, these are cool. It just cleared the entire chat. So, if I missed something, sorry, this looks like a lungs. I don’t like it. Yeah. What? The chair. Hey, check out these cups. It’s pretty sick. Oh. Whoa. Are these Gundam? No. What are they? No, it’s like something else. Is it Gundam? I don’t think it is. No, I think you’re right. It’s not. Look at the Mickey Mini love cups. That’s adorable. This totally smells like ax body spray. Should have done king of beast to keep the bears away. It does smell like ax. Or would it attract the bears? It might be. Our king has arrived. There’s just uh stove tops over here. Yeah. Not portable. No. Legitimate stove tops. [Music] Yeah. Like you have to install these professionally. Yeah. That’s the interesting thing I always found is like when you go into an apartment, they always they provide new new ones of these like every time basically. Do they really? Usually. Uh so then the old ones end up pier I guess. I guess maybe nicer apartments. some of the older or cheaper apartments. Maybe they cuz I’ve seen apartments where they’re ancient, man. Oh, yeah. So, hey, more skis. Is that a cowboy hat and a signed cap from uh someone? I don’t know. Oh, these are Have you seen these? Is it like is it It’s a skate snowboard. It’s a skateboard and they mount like a little ski on the end. And you you actually do this down the mountain? I would actually like to do this cuz I have been skateboarding my whole life. So sketchy. Oh, it looks sketchy as hell, but I’d love to try it. Just I wouldn’t want to do a whole day of it, but I’d love to try it once. Um, yeah. No, my chat phone’s being really weird. It’s doubling up the chat and then it says YouTube is dead. Like stopped. There’s an uncanny X-Men comic in here. What? Really? Yeah, dude. That’s really cool. But 7,000 yen, but damn, that’s awesome. Yeah. How old is this? Still factory seal, too. Yeah. It’s not coming off. This is one of those ones that won’t open. Yeah. Bonus 32page comic book. Wow. All right, I got to test this on my phone. Okay, Twitch is working. And YouTube’s working. Okay. Ran tests over there. Yeah, I think these are the ones with Yep. Okay. Yeah, this is like the four USB one. So expensive. Yeah. Project Diva. Look at that controller. Yeah. SG-1000 PC Engine fully functional. Not a bad price. This looks like Yeah, this looks like a uh bootleg. It’s also attached. No, maybe. Oh, you know what? This is probably for the Sony’s. Yeah, this says Sony on it. Yeah. So that that’s for these the SX the SK100. Is that what this is for? What is that? Do you think that the game is for these? That’s Sega though. Oh yeah, you’re right. That was Sony, right? Yeah. I don’t know what those are. I make something. Master System. Oh, it’s MSX. Oh, yeah. It’s the MSX. Yeah, we we found a few MSXs this trip. I haven’t seen the game cartridges yet. This system’s cool. Did you know the Nintendo is actually like a anti- piracy thing? Inside the inside the disc system is a mold that fits That’s funny. the Nintendo exactly. So it makes it harder to copy from back in the day, but they were rewritable. So yeah, cuz I never didn’t really make sense. These never came to the US. Only Japan. Yeah. At its peak, Japan had a kiosk where you could take them in and put different games on them. That’s cool. That’s really neat. I would have loved to have that functionality. This a development Super Mario Collection. Yeah, this is like a developers dev heart. Developer art. Hey, bud. There’s some interesting stuff here that you don’t usually see.
