Expo 2025 Osaka 🇯🇵 | Pavilion Tour & Highlights🌏✨

Hello everyone, I’m Naoto. Today, I’m here in Osaka! It’s because I’m going to the Expo! “I had a great time on a 3-day, 2-night trip, and I’m bringing you all the highlights! Anyway, from early in the morning, huge crowds were pouring into the venue. And it was extremely hot with strong sunshine Everyone was using umbrellas for shade. After a bag check, we head into the venue. Alright, we’ve entered the venue! The super popular ‘Myaku Myaku’ greets you as you arrive. Some people say it’s a bit creepy, but I like him Look at the massive wooden structure! It is ring-shaped, with a full loop of 2 kilometers!! 20 meters tall! Let’s check out the Japanese Pavilion. The main attraction here is ‘iPS cells’. They are artificial cells. It has the ability to differentiate into any cell in the human body. This is an iPS cell-derived cardiac muscle sheet, made from artificial cells It’s moving! They create a cardiac muscle sheet from iPS cells and attach it to a weakened heart to help it recover and become healthy again. Next, you can see more iPS cell-related exhibits here. That’s Astro Boy — the main character of Japan’s very first TV anime series. That’s the cardiac muscle sheet we saw earlier. So amazing! And this is a heart created by developing that cardiac muscle sheet even further. It’s actually beating! And the story goes that this heart was transplanted into Astro Boy “What’s happening to Earth right now?” “Earth has been reborn thanks to everyone’s efforts.” “The history of life began right here.” The cube-shaped screens moved, creating a powerful and immersive visual experience. Next is the pavilion themed around ‘The Future of Life’ It looks like an android is reflecting on someone’s life. Next, we see the world 50 years from now. It seems we are on a train. This boy seems to be an android. In the future society, humans and androids coexist. A grandmother and her granddaughter are happily chatting, but eventually, the grandmother reaches the end of her life. She faces a choice: to die naturally or continue living as an android.” Did she decide to live as an android…? Even popular celebrities in Japan continued to thrive as androids! Finally, the future 1,000 years from now is depicted in an artistic way. This is one of the most memorable pavilions. They’re wearing cooling towels on their heads. This pavilion is definitely worth checking out. Many sardines are swimming across the ceiling… Oh? Their numbers are gradually decreasing… Eventually, they arrive at a supermarket aisle. A giant fried egg is on display—what could it be? This represents the number of eggs an average person eats in their lifetime in each country Want to see how many eggs one Japanese person eats in their lifetime? That’s 28,000 eggs! All of these represent life… When we place milk on the scale… It showed ‘7 times’. What does this number represent? Humans drink seven times more milk than a baby cow… We are receiving the precious gift of life… Next, let’s place a water bottle on the scale. ’12 countries’—what does this number mean? It’s the number of countries where tap water is safe to drink as is. This enormous shopping cart… It represents the volume of food a single Japanese person consumes in 10 years These are receipts showing one week’s worth of food from various countries When you look at the monitor, your face turns into an animal! Every day, we are taking in so many lives… To eat is… to gather at Earth’s table and to live together. with gratitude for life… And with gratitude for life, let’s take a look at the food. The Expo also offers a great variety of food from different countries I ordered a ‘One Hand BENTO’ here. 1,390 yen (about $9.30). Pork and egg are sandwiched between rice and nori. It’s served with fried chicken and hash browns. They’re all my favorites💛 “There’s also a gluten-free ramen shop. Soy sauce ramen, 1,600 yen (about $11) — pretty pricey… Now, let’s explore the Asian countries. The theme of the Philippine Pavilion is ‘Nature, Culture, Community — Weaving a Better Future Together’ You can dance together with the tarsiers from Bohol Island! The theme of the Taiwan Pavilion is ‘An Island of Miracles Supporting the Future’. The object surrounded by tablets in the cente is inspired by the Taiwan cedar. The footage of the rich natural scenery is beautiful. They can use the power of technology to turn paintings into videos. The number of IC chips is displayed. This island is thriving in IC chip production. The theme of the Korea Pavilion is ‘With Hearts’. Through a chemical reaction between breath and hydrogen, bubbles of water fall from the ceiling. It seems to be set in a near-future Korea. This phone looks really old. Whose could it be? This is Grandpa’s cell phone. The unfinished music data that Grandpa was working on was saved in the phone. The granddaughter carried on Grandpa’s unfinished music and completed it. The Malaysian Pavilion is also very popular for its food. He’s making a thin flatbread called Roti Canai. Roti Canai with curry, 1,814 yen (about $12). Chicken curry and dal curry. The chicken is really tender. It can taste the sweetness of the beans within the spiciness of the dal curry. The thin, soft Roti Canai goes perfectly with the curry! This was the most delicious thing I’ve eaten on this trip! “Next, let’s head to Europe! The theme of the France Pavilion is a hymn to love The Chimera statues of Notre-Dame Cathedral… and a scene from the anime Princess Mononoke. A huge pile of Louis Vuitton suitcases is stacked up. A massive sphere is used for projection mapping. You can get a panoramic view of Paris. This olive tree is said to be 1,000 years old. Speaking of France, there’s wine! A giant bunch of grapes… By human touch, new value is created… A Dior suit in tricolor colors. They transformed 400 dress sketches into 3D forms ! It’s breathtaking! We can feel the greatness of handcrafted work. Mont Saint-Michel and Itsukushima Shrine are connected by a sacred rope. Both are UNESCO World Heritage sites that float on the sea. These cute mascots are handed out. If you touch his head here… he explains the exhibits to you. The theme is a circular economy, proposing a society with zero waste. The pavilion itself is made entirely from reusable materials. The theme of the Luxembourg Pavilion is “Doki Doki – The Luxembourg Heartbeat A video introducing people making an impact in Luxembourg. They’re showcasing people making an impact in Luxembourg. This room has monitors on all four walls. The landscapes of Luxembourg appear one after another… It feels like you’re flying through the sky!! We’ve reached outer space! The immersive experience is amazing! Let’s grab a meal at the Turkish Pavilion. Doner sandwich with a drink, 2,480 yen (about $17). I wish there was a bit more beef… It comes with French fries. Turkish ice cream is tricky—they won’t let you take it easily😅 !!! Next up is the America. The theme is ‘Imagine What We Can Create Together’ America’s latest science, including agricultural technology, is displayed on the screens. The theme song playing right now is really memorable. This is Shohei Ohtani, who plays in Major League Baseball. Then, the audience boards a rocket. Stunning visuals and sound! Oh! The International Space Station! The Moon rock from the last Osaka Expo(1970) is also on display. It looks like the walls are shaking. It’s completely dark now… A life-sized Gundam This Gundam actually moved in Yokohama, you know… “So cool~! The nighttime fountain show has a story and is really captivating. When the flames rise, it gets really hot! Next, the drone show is about to start. Thank you for watching! If you enjoyed the video, please like and subscribe! “See you again!
