Toys Wondrous Christmas replaces Disney Christmas Stories, which came to an end last year. Concept art for the new parade shows a toy-themed float featuring a giant teddy bear. Mickey and Minnie are on the front of the float while Pete is on the back, all wearing red and green costumes. Another float resembling a toy factory has Santa sitting on the front. It looks like the parade performers will be Santa’s elves with green wigs and outfits featuring candy cane stripes.

Like Disney Christmas Stories, Toys Wondrous Christmas is sponsored by Japan Airlines, which also sponsors the Fantasyland Forest Theatre at Tokyo Disneyland and the Broadway Music Theatre at Tokyo DisneySea.

Toys Wondrous Christmas will run at Tokyo Disneyland once per day, with the Christmas version of Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights running at night. The new parade has six floats total and will have parade stops between Westernland and Fantasyland; in the Plaza; and between Tomorrowland and Toontown.

In addition to Mickey, Minnie, Pete, and Santa Claus, featured characters characters include Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy Duck, Chip, Dale, Max, Marie, Berlioz, Toulouse, Judy, Nick, and Stitch.

Here is the description from Tokyo Disney Resort:

Santa Claus and his merry elves have been busy at the toy factory, getting toys ready for all the children. The shiny new toys join Mickey Mouse and his friends for a fun-filled and magical celebration.

The parade begins with Santa Claus’ toy factory, where the toys are being made, and features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Pete, as well as teddy bears dressed up for Christmas, toy vehicles, wooden blocks, and a nutcracker marching band.

With a little Christmas magic, the toys come to life for a unique and lively performance of music and dance, bringing heartwarming moments to the toys’ Christmas celebration. When everyone’s wishes come true and the guests are filled with smiles and happiness, the Disney friends, Santa Claus and the toys celebrate together, creating a truly magical and unforgettable Christmas.
