Japan's industrial output declined in July

Japan’s seasonally adjusted Industrial Production Index fell by 1.2% in July, reaching 102.1, according to a report released Friday by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). On a year-over-year basis, the index was down 0.4% compared to July 2024, signaling continued weakness in manufacturing activity, Azernews reports, citing foreign media.
