Donna Raynor has attended her first World Athletics Council as a council member in Tokyo.
The former Bermuda National Athletics Association president, who is the first Bermudian to be elected to the World Athletics Council, said: “Having a great time in Japan.
“So far, most days have been in meetings or dinners. My first Congress as a council member.
“So honoured when I think back being elected with 214 countries voting. A dream come true and now retired to focus on my passion.”
Caitlyn Bobb will represent the island at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in the 400 metres on Sunday [September 14].
