The PlayStation 5 has surpassed seven million units sold in its lifetime and counting.

Based on a Famitsu report, which breaks down console sales in Japan, including lifetime, the three models form just over seven million sales. The base model complete with a disc drive make up the bulk of the sales at 5,771,474 followed by its little brother, the Digital Edition at 992,697, and finally the refresh model, the PS5 Pro, at a meager 245,766.

Not long ago, just last year, Sony had raised the price of the PS5 models over in Japan by 16%, per CNBC. Obviously, this didn’t cause much grief, though, as come a year later, the console is still selling like hotcakes, only behind the Nintendo Switch family of consoles.
