Kyoto Animation announced on Friday it will reveal a new anime project on October 25 during its “KyoAni no Sekai-ten” (“Meet the Worlds of KyoAni”) event being held on October 25 and 26. The anime’s main cast and staff will appear for the “Kyoto Animation 2026 New Work Announcement Stage” presentation on October 25 at 2:00 p.m. JST (1:00 a.m. EDT).

The event will be held at the Miyako Messe event hall in Kyoto. The above “lineup promo video” previews the studio’s works from 2018 onward, which will be exhibited at the event.

The company’s CITY The Animation television series premiered on July 6, and is exclusively streaming on the Amazon Prime Video service worldwide. The Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to be Loved (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon: Samishigariya no Ryū) anime film opened in Japan on June 27. Crunchyroll will screen the film in theaters in the United States on October 20.

The company also has the upcoming Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie project in the works. The first part of the project, Saishū Gakushō Hibike! Euphonium Zenpen, will open in spring 2026. The title indicates that the project will have two to three parts.
