I don’t know a lot about this area. It was built for the 1st Sino-Japanese War but apparently never used. I have a longer video of the fort here – [2:56] Back at the top of Mt. Adachi. [3:07] Emergency provisions bread from a can (非常食品). It lasts for 5 years but the expiry date is this March so it was time to eat it! [3:41] Mt. Komonji 子文字山 [4:21] Back at Myouken Shrine.
